Pokémon?

Rei was not panicking. He wasn't. He was simply having very minor, very reasonable thoughts about who might remove his memories of Harry, how to stop it from occurring again, and what spell was used. He could figure out the second one quite easily; having digital and written journals, protective runes woven into his clothes, have one of the psychic Pokémon help him make shields over his memories, etcetera, etcetera. The third point was also pretty easy, an overpowered Obliviate combined with Legillimency, meaning he had no chance of getting his memories of Harry back; hopefully he hadn't lost too much. There was also probably a compulsion in there somewhere so he wouldn't recognise Harry's likely parentage. The first one, unfortunately had too many to count. It could've been any of the Death Eaters that escaped Azkaban (which didn't make much sense; why not just kill Harry? Maybe there was something to do with Volde-whore? Not completely out, but not likely), some pureblood or ministry official that didn't want his mundane ass anywhere near Harry (didn't make any sense given he still went to Petunia. Millicent Bagnold was incompetent, but not enough to let the heir of an Ancient and Noble house grow up mundane). It could’ve even been Albus Too-Many-Fucking-Names Dumbledore; Arceus knows extreme his how holier than thou attitude was- his 'Greater Good' bullshit the perfect example (this one had a higher possibility, but the potential reasoning behind was a complete mystery- probably something stupid to do with the aforementioned holier than thou attitude).

All of the thoughts crossed his completely calm mind as he made his way down Privet Drive- Harry's soon-to-be-former dwelling (he refused to call it a home given what's happened to Harry). Knocking on the door of number 4, Rei was soon greeted by the pinched face of his younger-but-not-youngest sister. Her eyes widened dramatically when she recognised him.

"R-Rei? What are you doing here?"

Rei simply crossed his arms and stared her down, how did his sister become this? A woman who looked so spiteful to the world, who would abuse her own nephew.

"What would have happened if it was Dudley?" he asked mysteriously

"What?"

"What would have happened if you and you husband died, and Dudley went to Lily?"

He watched disappointedly as Petunia's face pinched, and a hideous scowl formed over her face.

"How dare you mention that frea-" Rei cut her off with a glare.

"Don’t. You. Dare. Call Lily, or her son a freak. They are Wixen. How dare you abuse a child for something out of their control." Rei spat, vindictive glee forming at her flinch, "Do you have any idea what you could have done? Magic can't be suppressed; it is a basic requirement to life. You have magic, I have magic, your son and husband have magic. Lily and Harry were simply born with more- No." he cut off her attempt to argue, "You haven't spent years studying magic, learning how it works. You've just sat in your home, letting yourself go until you became a spiteful woman that abuses someone for existing. Do you understand how fucked up that is? I will ask my question again. If it was you who died; your son who was left an orphan in the care of Lily and her husband, would Dudley have grown up the way Harry has? Would he associate his own existence with a mistake? Would Lily convince him to think he was responsible for whoever killed you?"

Petunia's ashamed silence was answer enough.

"I will be taking custody of Harry from you, my wife and I will teach him both wixen and mundane magic, when he is eleven, he will go to whichever school he chooses. You won't see him ever again unless he chooses to give you a chance once he comes of age."

Rei pulled out a small booklet with removable paper squares and proceeded to draw a glyph combo of his that used a light and plant glyph on the outer circle, two fire glyphs on the ends of an inner, incomplete circle and an ice glyph on an inner circle. He removed the piece of paper and scrunched it in his hand.

"I'm also taking back Budew and Spheal, I gave you and Vernon those Pokémon as a show of good faith- faith that you've wasted."

By the look of surprise on her face, Rei could've assumed she didn't ever open his wedding gift for her and her husband. The two Pokéballs he gifted his sister and brother-in-law appeared in his hands where the paper had been, they were completely untouched. Had Rei not already reached maximum possible disappointment, he would have ended up there.

"You didn't even open them…" he whispered sadly.

Lightly tossing the Pokéballs to the front lawn, two very restless Pokémon appeared. Allowing them to do some exploring (not without a quick warning), Rei turned his attention back to Petunia. Her expression deemed what was most likely an information overload- which was understandable; she had completely isolated herself from the rest of House Evans when she got engaged to her walrus of a husband.

"I'll be collecting anything of Harry's that he has here, then-"

"Wait," Petunia cut him off, "you can't expect me to just stand by after you've dropped all this on me! Since when were you married? When did you send Vernon and I Pokémon of all things? How can you do magic?"

Rei stared at her in disbelief. Those were her questions? Nothing like: 'why didn't you take Harry before now?', 'How do you expect to raise a freak (read: wizard) like him?'

"You really hate Harry, don't you?" he asked rhetorically, noticing her flinch, "I've been married for 3 ½ years; I invited you and Vernon to the wedding. I sent you Budew and Spheal on your wedding day because I was doing research about mega evolution in Kalos and wouldn't have been able to get back to Earth in time. They would've been in a wooden box with a pale blue ribbon tied into a bow and metal casings over the corners. I can do magic because every human being on the planet can do it. Mundane Magic is just different to Wixen Magic; it’s controlling the magic in the air rather than using the magic your body generates. I'd continue the lecture and teach you how to use Mundane Magic, but I keep that explanation for the parents of first- and second-gens that actuallycare about the children they're responsible for."

It was times like these that Rei was simultaneously thankful and spiteful of his sensitivity to magic, he could see the magic oozing from the cupboard under the stairs, there was also the matter of whatever that magic parasite in Harry's scar was, but he knew that at the very least the Goblins would be able to get rid of whatever it was. It reminded Rei of that locket Regulus had given him after that near death experience of his, it also had the same signature as the dark mark- though given the whole Boy-Who-Lived(-Probably-From-Something-Lily-Did) thing, that part made sense. Rei would also need to get Harry a check-up, given Petunia's behaviour, he wasn't sure the basic seals normally placed on magical children had been appropriately removed from Harry's person, which could be dangerous if not treated- especially with that parasite. It would explain why there was so little magic emanating from his nephew; why he had to check if he saw the wixen-craft section of the library.

It was pretty standard for second- and x-generation wixen to get seals on their magic as a secondary control for their accidental magic- not that the name was appropriate; wish magic made more sense as a title for it. The seals would be gradually removed as their core stabilises, the last of the seals normally being removed around the time they start Hogwarts. There were of course wixen that didn't do this, the Weasleys, Lovegoods and Longbottoms for example, though Rei recalled that Alice had placed a couple on her son before the… event. Might be a good idea to have that checked on, Rei could recall a couple of Frank's complaints about his family and their… ideas about squibs.

Opening the door to the cupboard, Rei looked in for about half a second, before grabbing a stuffed rabbit from the horrifically dirty mattress, two drawings that had been put on the wall and closing the door as quickly as he could. He glared at the cupboard for a solid minute before levelling it at Petunia.

"You disgust me. Take this time to improve yourself and how your treat your son, overindulgence is just as abusive as what you did to Harry, and if you continue as you are, your son will not be ready to survive in the real world. And take him to a doctor regarding his obesity, a heart attack before adulthood is not how a person should die."

That was all he said before he left Petunia to wallow in the aftermath of her own mistakes and wrongdoings.

Across the country, through the gargoyle corridor, in the headmaster's tower, Albus Percival Brian Wulfric Dumbledore did not see his tool for monitoring the blood wards surrounding Harry glow, signifying a change in the people and place with which he called home- a change that Albus would have no way of even suspecting until Christmas 1991 when he would find Harry's name on the list of those choosing to return home, a home he was sure would not fit his plan. Fawkes, the phoenix perched in the same room, made no attempts to allude to this change, it's disappointment in the fall of their master driving that decision.

----____--------____----

Harry couldn't believe how lucky he was! When he hid in the library from Dudley and his gang, he thought someone would turn him into the police like Aunt Petunia always said he would end up. But meeting Mr and Mrs Evans was probably the best thing that happened to him! He wasn't a freak, but a wizard- a real wizard! And Mr Evans showed him how to do magic! And they wanted to look after him! And now he was reading about more magic- the book called it 'Transfiguration'. Harry though it was amazing that you could turn things into other things with magic. Was that how he changed Mr Lewis' hair colour? Looking through the book, he didn't see anything about hair colour, so maybe it was something else.

"Hey, Harry," Mr Evans called.

He must have gotten back from the Dursley's. Harry spotted the stuffed rabbit he had gotten from the trash after Dudley threw it out as well as two of his drawings from school that he had been able to keep from being destroyed by Dudley or Uncle Vernon.

"Yes, Mr Evans?"

"I need to tell you something…"

Just as Harry's panic began to rise to extreme levels, Mr Evans started talking again.

"You don't need to worry; this is something to do with my relationship with your parents."

Harry was stunned.

"You knew my parents?"

Mr Evans nodded; he drew in a big breath which he sighed out tiredly.

"Okay Harry, here's the deal: there are a couple of spells that wixen can use called memory charms and compulsions," Harry nodded cautiously; where was he going with this? "After your parents died, both of these were used on me… what they did was… they got rid of my memories of you and made it so I wouldn't recognise you if I ever saw you… I'm your mother's and Petunia's older brother- your uncle."

Harry wasn't quite sure how to respond to that. If Mr Evans was his uncle, why didn't he- no wait he said someone used magic so he wouldn't recognise Harry, and Harry's never seen Mr Evans before, so he wouldn't have ever seen anything regarding his home life with the Dursleys. So it wasn't like it was Mr Evans fault- should he start calling him Uncle Rei? Would that make Mrs Evans, Aunt Akari? Harry's thoughts were interrupted by the entrance of what looked like a plant version of a ballet dancer. Harry soon found himself in the- arms? Leaves? Of the creature.

"Lilligant, I'm sure you're excited to see Harry, but you have to make sure he's okay with you picking him up."

"U-Uncle Rei," Harry began, testing the term on his voice, "wh-what is it?"

"That, Harry, is a Pokémon called Lilligant. Pokémon don't naturally exist on Earth, but I am able to visit a universe where they do exist. Lilligant here used to be Lily- your Mom's Pokémon before… before she was killed. She clearly remembers you… lucky."

Harry looked up at the… Pokémon? In surprise.

"You were my Mom's?"

Lilligant let out a series of melodious happy sounding trills, the sounds made Harry relax to a level he couldn't ever remember being. Just constant stress and desperate attempts to get the Dursley's to care about him. Surprisingly, the sounds were somewhat familiar, maybe he heard them back when he was a baby.

"Your dad- James also had a Pokémon, a Wyrdeer. Though Wyrdeer watches over the Pokémon Park in London, so you won't see him today. But we can visit either tomorrow or the day after; it's pretty popular so you'd probably get a chance to make some friends- then again, we do get first-gens through here a lot, so you might also find friends in them as well."

Harry didn't mind that he wasn't going to meet his dad's Pokémon just yet, there was already a lot going on adding something like a Pokémon Park would probably be too much for him. Though he did like the sound of making some friends.

"That sounds nice Uncle Rei!" Harry said happily.

He had no idea of the heart attacks he would give Rei for the coming weeks each time he used the new term.

----____--------____----

Rei took one glance at his watch, before his eyes bugged out. With all the… excitement with Harry's arrival, he had completely forgotten, schools would have just out, so it wouldn't be long before they'd be here. Rei wasn't quite sure if Harry would be able to answer her rapid 60 questions all asked in a single breath.

"Hey, Harry."

"Yes, Uncle Rei?"

Rei paused; it was definitely going to be a while before he got used to that.

"You know how we have the wixen-craft section of the library?"

"Yeah…?"

Arceus, the caution in his voice really made Rei want to rescind his mercy on the Dursley's, maybe he could do some… vigilantism on Vernon's face. He did still have that Deathstroke costume from his and Akari's Comic-Con adventure back in '85 (fuck that costume was well made, all the bells and whistles- nothing like the standard half-assed, store-bought spandex. He even did under-the-helmet level shit, all the extents), he just needed to either make something to change his voice or not talk at all, and no one would be the wiser… except Akari… and Petunia would probably figure it out… Arceus, damn it! Guess he wouldn't get to beat the shit out of Vernon after all.

"It's there to help other young wixen who grew up in mundane households and their families to understand the world their child is going to be a part of- no, that doesn't explain it… There's going to be a couple of first-gen wixen coming around to learn more about the magical world soon- given that school just finished. I just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to go somewhere quieter or if you wanted to meet some of them. I'll let you know now, one of the girls, she is very nice and while I think you'd get along, both I and her parents are fully aware how overwhelming her curiosity can be- which is to say, very."

Wow, should Rei be disappointed in how long it took him to get to the point about the girl? He was sure he mentioned first-gens coming through the library- why the fuck did he try to explain what a first-gen was. Arceus, hindsight's a bitch. A blend of black and white-blond crossed his mind- oh yeah, he should talk to Cissy again; he did hang up abruptly. Rei brought his focus back to Harry before he fell into a spiral of anxiety, random thoughts and social ineptitude.

"Um… I…"

----____--------____----

The group of 3 stood in front of the large dome, a sign on the entrance reading 'Evanton Park' with a Pokéball in place of the 'o'. Harry was vibrating in excitement, though it was such minimal movement that Rei almost didn't notice, definitely wouldn't've had he not been paying any attention to Harry. Unfortunately for him, they were still only ¼ of their intended group. To be fair, they had arrived before the park would be open, though now that it had been around for a couple of years, it wasn't overflowing with people daily anymore. School days were generally pretty quiet too, except in the case of excursions.

"Rei! Akari! How are you two?"

The small group turned to see a man in steampunk-style clothes except using a lavender undershirt and a lab coat on top. Akari answered first.

"Professor! We're great, how are you? How's the park?"

"Everything's all up and running, the Pokémon are all happy and there's been no accidents recently; I'm doing wonderful. I really must commend your idea, Rei. I've been having a much easier time researching Pokémon here, especially given the lower danger thanks to their training. That recent trip to Unova of yours really bore some fascinating new species. I've even taken note of a few subtle changes the environment here has had on some of the Pokémon. The Zorua have definitely been getting more mischievous. I look forward to the results of your future expeditions."

"That's wonderful to hear," Akari smiled.

It was a this point that the professor took note of Harry.

"Oh, dear. Surely it hasn't been that long since I've seen you two."

"He's our nephew!" Rei and Akari voiced immediately.

The furious blush that emerged from the two adults caused the man to let out a hearty laugh. Harry joined him, though his laugh being more reserved than the professor's.

"It's quite amusing that you say that when you're supposedly the eldest of your siblings yet act like the youngest!" the professor laughed, "Though it is nice to know why Wyrdeer was so restless just now, he probably caught a whiff of the young Mr Potter. I'm surprised he hasn't been here before now."

Rei and Akari sobered their expressions, though the blush was still present on both of their faces.

"He's been living with Petunia before now, she's apparently not exactly a fan of Pokémon. Though I am also slightly surprised she didn't do so to at least make her son happy, I'm pretty sure there aren't many children that aren't at least interested in Pokémon, I-" Rei was cut off by a tug at his sleeve.

"U-Um, Aunt Petunia did take Dudley here before, for his 6th birthday, he laughed at me about missing out afterwards."

"Oh dear, that's awful. Were you sick on that day, young man?"

Rei continued his attempts at resisting the desire to destroy the Dursleys financially, socially and legally when Harry shook his head and answered that he wasn't allowed to go because he was a freak.

"Well, that wasn't very nice of them to say," the professor said calmly, though Rei could see the disappointment in his eyes, "you seem to me like a very nice boy and I'm sure the Pokémon will love to meet you."

Before anything else could be said a loud squeal tore through the air and a brown blur made its way to the green eyed boy, almost knocking him over.

"HARRY!!!!"

"H-Hermione?"

The two had met the day prior, Harry, though slightly overwhelmed, became fast friends with the bushy-haired girl. Rei knew that Hermione didn't have many- if any friends, so it made some sense that she had gotten this attached; Hermione was no doubt either a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw.

"Hermione, be careful!"

The voice of Emma Granger drew Rei, Akari and the professor's attention.

"Emma! Dan! Good to see you guys here."

Dan Granger, carrying a picnic basket that Rei knew was internally expanded while also holding a featherlight charm, even though Emma didn't know about the featherlight. Meaning his dramatic way of carrying it over his shoulder was definitely a way of impressing his wife. Looking closely, Rei could see him flex his muscles whenever Emma looked back at him.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world, Rei. It's nice to see Hermione making friends, even if we never expected the possibility of she or them being magical."

"That's fair."

The adults of the group all laughed while Hermione pouted, and Harry stared confusedly.

"Sounds like we should have left earlier."

The group of 6 turned to see the remainders of their group.

"Ashley! Walter! Good to see you guys! And hello, Dean, Alice, how are your studies going?"

He got an echoing 'good' from all four of them. Dean was a half-blood born from Ashley Scott-Thomas' first marriage, and honestly would have been in a similar situation to Harry had Alice not been a first-generation. Thankfully, Alice was which meant Gringotts sent them notification of her status as a first-gen along with a list of other wixen with a close relation to them, consequently, Dean was listed. It was also helpful that Dean was 3 when the triplets were born, so he didn't have to spend very long without wixen knowledge. Surprisingly, it was Walter that was the most accepting of the situation, when questioned about it, Rei discovered that he was also a Dungeons & Dragons fan like himself. Because of this, Rei and Akari had invited him and Ashley over for a campaign Rei had designed based on Lily's time at Hogwarts. Walter was a fan, and they continued every now and then.

"Why must we come here, Mother? The muggle world?" a posh voice whined loudly.

The 10 turned to see the last of their group of 12, Narcissa Malfoy née Black and her son, Draco. Rei wasn't surprised at the boy's behaviour; Cissy wasn't actually allowed a very significant position in Draco's life, that was left to her husband, Lucius and whatever blood-supremacist tutors he no doubt hired.

"Because, Dragon, we are meeting a friend of mine, and you'll do well to remember that mundanes' only difference to us is the amount of magic they have."

"But Father-"

"Your father has never bothered to learn about mundanes. For one thing, they can do magic, just a different way to us."

"What!?"

"Your mother's telling the truth; we can't use wands, but we can use symbols call glyphs to control the magic in the air."

While Rei said this, Walter, Ashley, Akari and Emma each drew on square pieces of paper before tapping the glyphs. Walter conjured a ball of light; Ashley spawned a flower, Akari summoned a fireball and Emma created an ice Pokéball. Draco stared bug-eyed at the sight of mundane magic; seemed like today would be good for him.

"Well, now that everyone's here, we can get started," the professor began, drawing everyone's attention, "it's a pleasure to meet all of you, my name is Professor Laventon. I study Pokémon and am a part of the Galaxy Research Team based in Hisui. I welcome you all to Evans-Laventon Research Facility- or as it's more commonly known as: Evanton Park!"

----____--------____----

Harry was speechless at the sight of Evanton Park. It was like an entire forest! Pokémon were everywhere, and they all looked so different! He saw one that looked like a horse with fire on its back, tail and hooves. There was a group of a few that looked like a purple balloon. There were floating rocks with arms and faces! There was an actual dragon! It had a fire on its tail! Harry was pretty sure he spotted some kind of otter/fox with floaties near one of the lakes.

"Each of these Pokémon have been caught by either Rei or Akari and brought here to allow levels of research, domestication, and interaction with human beings." Professor Laventon explained proudly.

Harry looked up at his aunt and uncle, wonder and amazement filling his soul.

"Really? You caught all of these, Uncle Rei? Aunt Akari?"

Akari giggled slightly.

"It was really Rei that caught most of these, he continues to be the most competent Pokémon researcher in all of Galaxy. The only active 10 Star we've got."

"Don't you mean the galaxy, Mrs Evans?" Hermione asked.

"Not at all, dear child. Akari is referring to the Galaxy Expedition Team, these two and myself are a part of the Survey Corps. Alongside us are the Construction Corps., the Security Corps., the Medical Corps., the Supply Corps., and the Agriculture Corps. You'll find that all of the employees working here are all members of these corps. The commander of Galaxy deployed them here the assist with the further research of Pokémon and magic, or as we refer to it in our world, aura."

"What about the 10 Star Mrs Evans mentioned Mr Evans being?" Dean asked.

"That's Rei's rank in Galaxy- our ranks range from 0-10 Stars that represent a member's ability within the corps. Rei is currently the only rank 10 field researcher in the Survey Corps, Akari being rank 9. Both myself and our Captain, Cyllene are rank 10, but neither of us are field researchers- that is to say, not anymore in the Captain's case."

All the children as well as most of the adults looked at the two Evans' in astoundment and awe, of course, Narcissa already knew this about the two, though it was slightly different to know about their competence rather than seeing the fruits of their labour. Harry could only find more excitement about living with his newly discovered aunt and uncle; they continued to get better and better.

"They still do expeditions to some of the other regions for research into various phenomena, such as regional variations and the recently discovered Mega Evolution."

"Mega Evolution?" Draco and Hermione parroted in sync.

"I'll take this one, professor," Uncle Rei said, walking forward before turning to the group, "evolution is a standard phenomena found in Pokémon once they reach certain levels or fulfill certain requirements, for example-"

He whistled and a small yellow Pokémon about the size of a cat ran up to him. It had red circles on its cheeks, black marks on its rabbit-like ears and a tail which looked like a lightning bolt. Uncle Rei scooped it up.

"this is Pikachu, the electric mouse Pokémon. He is a part of a 2 stage evolution, meaning it can evolve twice, giving a total of three forms. The order starts with its birth form, Pichu, followed by its current stage, and then-"

He reached his hand into the pouch on his waist and pulled out a yellow crystal that Harry was pretty sure had a lightning bolt in it, and pressed it to Pikachu's chest, causing the Pokémon to glow. Energy swirled around it as its shape seemed to change. Once the glow faded, the Pikachu was gone and in its place was a more orange Pokémon with yellow cheeks and a tail that looked a bit like a brown wire leading to a yellow lightning bolt.

"It evolves into Raichu here when it fulfills the requirement of coming into contact with the thunder stone."

Uncle Rei put the Raichu down and it ran off to somewhere else in the park.

"Mega Evolution is a phenomena which follows a similar method to Pikachu's use of a stone to evolve. The difference for Mega Evolution is that it's temporary and based on the bond between a Pokémon and their partner."

He pulled on a silver necklace on his neck that revealed a rainbow crystal wrapped in gold wire and attached to the silver necklace via a loop of the wire. There seemed to be a symbol in it, but the crystal was jagged, so Harry wasn't completely sure.

"This is a Key Stone; it syncs with a Mega Stone that is worn by a Pokémon to allow Mega Evolution. As it stands, we've only found 9 different Mega Stones, as each can only affect a particular species of Pokémon. The current known Mega Stones are for Lopunny, Steelix, Pidgeot, Gyarados, Lucario, Gardevoir, we've found two that affect Charizard, and there is one that we're still unsure of, though we've seen some reaction to the Grass-Type Pokémon Treecko, we theorise that it affects a final evolution, but we're unsure as we currently only have one that we're able to study."

"Though, one of the things we'd like for you all to see today will be Mega Evolution as well as a spar between some of Rei and Akari's Pokémon. If all goes well, we also have the Legendary Pokémon of Space, Palkia coming by for study later. This, however, will occur in Hisui as Legendary Pokémon are incredibly important to maintaining balance in our world."

"Why would a being so important allow itself to be studied?"

"Quite simple, because Rei asked it to. One of the things the Survey Corps. is working on is a complete encyclopaedia of Pokémon; we refer to it as the Pokémon Index- or Pokédex for short. As Legendary Pokémon are one of a kind, we aren't able to research them in the same capacity as others, there are a few criteria that must be agreed on first. One consistent agreement is that we never attempt to catch them. A short while after Rei was brought to our world, the Legendary Pokémon of the Distortion World, Giratina, was controlled by a human and almost completely destroyed reality. It was only thanks to the efforts of our most skilled members as well as the leaders of Hisui's Pearl and Diamond clans that we managed to repair the world. That was one of the only situations where the catching of a Legendary was permitted, even with that, the Legendary Pokémon were released afterwards."

"What does Uncle Rei have to do with that? Why did this Palkia Pokémon agree because he asked?"

"That's because Rei was the one who caught and released them in the first place!" Professor Laventon answered cheerily.

7 sets of wide eyes shifted their gobsmacked attention to Rei. Harry couldn't believe it; his uncle was able to catch such powerful Pokémon? And he released them afterwards as well!? Could his uncle be any more awesome!? In the corner of his eye, he noticed Mrs Narcissa shaking slightly, shifting his attention slightly, he found that her hands were clenched and her eyed were squeezed shut; she looked angry.

"Rei. Willow. Evans," she growled, there was a sort of heat emanating from her.

Turning back to his uncle, he only found empty space; the only evidence that his uncle hadn't just disappeared being the cloud of dust that seemed to lead off into the park. Harry thought he could vaguely hear something along the lines of 'not today Satan' and a series of 'nope's', that was followed by another cloud of dust and a shout of 'get back here, you little shit!'

"I don't think I've ever seen Mother that expressive;" Draco said, seemingly to himself, "she's always so calm and commanding; all the purebloods listen to her." Aunt Akari let out a sharp laugh at that.

"You should have seen how they were back in school! They were literally titled the 'Demons of Chaos' for a reason- not that anyone knew their identities. That's not even mentioning how effective they were during the war against VM. I remember one of the few times I actually joined them, most of the wixen they were facing disapparated without even trying to fight the two. It got down to the point where the only reason the Death Munchers had a chance was because Narcissa was forced into a marriage contract with your father that pretty much made it so she couldn't oppose Malfoy. That might even be half the reason the assholes that gave the 'Imperius' defence listen to her; they know she could annihilate them."

"Is Uncle Rei going to be okay?"

"Not to worry, Harry, I'm willing to bet that the only thing that'll happen to him is getting self-preservation and communication beaten into him. Narcissa's just upset she didn't know about Rei's role in that whole… event."

"Well, while young Rei gets scolded by Miss Narcissa, how about I introduce you to some of our staff? I'm sure Miss Dora would love to meet you all- if she's not lost in her research that is! I believe her moon is visiting today."
