Chapter 3
Nico is recovering from his overuse of shadow travel in the Giant war, and while practicing with Will, he somehow ends up traveling to another dimension (I hc that his powers would have become significantly stronger after working them so hard so he is discovering new things he can do and this is one of those new things) filled with Grisha and thieves. They end up in an alley in the Barrel and Kaz finds them. Nico convinces Kaz to give them a place to stay for a while until they figure out how to get home. (Nico is the ambassador of Pluto and I don't think Hades would have given him that position if he didn't know how to manipulate people to get what he wants aka have diplomat skills.)
Idc when it happens I personally think it would be cool if Will and Nico helped the Crows to get Inej back. I imagine that Nico and Kaz would bond over losing and older sibling at a similar age right after having lost a parent and then having to survive alone and take care of themselves. They would also bond over their aversion of touch (even though Kaz's is way worse) and Will would help them both. I think Nico would also bond with Jesper and Wylan about their fear of dissipointing their fathers. (he would help Jesper open up to his father and help Wylan realize that he deserved better than his dick of a father and they would help him get over his need to get his father’s approval) He and Will would also just be gay with Jesper and Wylan, which I think is hilarious. I also really love the idea of a friendship between Nina, Will and Nico with Will halping her heal from the jurda parem and Nico helping her with her new control over the dead. I'm not sure about Matthias and Inej and how they would merge wit Will and Nico, but I'd someone uses this they can come up with something. Then at the end they would also go home when every one goes their separate ways but would come and visit often and jus have fun days roaming the Barrel and causing mayhem.
