Chapter 4
I've had this idea for a while. Like what if Hades had a pet world like we see the Harry Potter universe as Hecate's pet world. Like if something goes wrong and Hades is blamed (cause come on, it's bound to happen sometime with all the bullshit of the Olympians with Zues as the king), then he would have had a backup for when everything goes to shit. And what if that world is the world of Ranger’s Apprentice. So shit hits the fan and suddenly everyone hates Hades and Nico is in danger (idk what to do with Hazel cause she doesn't foi in here sorry, so maybe she was taken to the underworld for her safe and is back to being dead) so Hades sends Nioc to his pet world to keep him hidden. Nico knows that this was the backup plan so he doesn't freak out or anything. This idea emerged after realizing what an amazing Ranger Nico would be with his powers over the shadows and everything.
I imagine that this would happen while Will, Cassandra, Halt and Horace are MIA fighting a war in Skandia and trying to survive. Nico would be the perfect apprentice for Gilan cause Gilan can still train Nico with his sword and everyone says that Gilan is the best at unseen movement in the corps. So while everyone is away Gilan gets an apprentice because he was the best candidate and it actually works out quite well. (It's Canon that Nico is fifteen which is the age that apprentices are chosen so it works out perfectly.) Then everyone comes back and Gilan now has an apprentice and Halt adopts another son. Idk where this would go I'm not that imaginative or creative so if anyone is actually apart of both these fandoms and wants to use this then you're on your own in figuring out the rest I really just wnat to see Ranger Nico being Gilan's apprentice.
