The Start
This is where it all started for Joey Scamander.
She waited for the lightning to struck her but just before it had hit, someone grabbed her and apparated her to a pub where she was save from the lightning. She was really dizzy and had no idea what happend but she was safe now and she looked the boy that saved her, right in the eye and asked "How did you find me?". The boy hesitated but he said " you're just lucky that I came by, otherwise you'd be dead by now.". There was a moment of silence. Eventually she said thank u but it felt all weird around this boy.
The boy took her inside the pub and introduced her as a friend to the owner. They were all nice to her, they dried her clothes and even let them stay the night. Joey and the boy went upstairs and Joey immediately fell asleep. When she woke up there was a cat sleeping by her feet and a boy staring at the from a chair. It was her cat though but apparently the boy was a little confused about it. She said "Don't worry that's Salem my cat", "nice" he replied " I don't think he likes me though, he scratched me because he wanted to have my seat." "oh that's just typically him, he doesn't really like anyone but me". The boy looked very strange but accepted it. "Do you want to go have breakfast?" he asked "Yeah sure" she said.
They went downstairs together and sat at a small table. After a while of eating she asked his name but he was really unsure what to say. He said "I don't really wanna say my name, its a long story" which she replied to "I have time", "No really its not that easy", "fine" she said I don't really wanne tell you mine either. So why don't we just use a different name?", "sure, why not. Call me Newt". Uhm what? Joey doesn't know what to think does he know her? Is that why he uses the name from her father? Maybe it is, Joey is kinda famous in the wizarding world. She just ignored it and said "Call me Audrey" she thought it might be special because of the old lady who took care of her. She didn't really care anymore if the boy knew her, she just went along and wanted to pretend to be someone else for a while.
After a while they decided to head out together and wonder off just the two of them. Joey and the boy went by a lot of towns and villages. They stopped to eat, they shopped and visited the most beautiful places. they had an amazing time together. In the evening they returned to the pub en Joey was exhausted but 'Newt' insisted on dancing together at the party that was going on. Joey eventually agreed and the boy enchanted her clothes which turned into a beautiful ball gown. They were dancing all night long and had the time of their lives. They did the same stuff over again for a couple of days and then Joey decided to go back to the Weasleys. She said goodbye to the boy and hoped she would see him again, but she knew so little of him, barely anything actually so she didn't know where he went to school or where he lived, she didn't even know his name. It is what it is she thought, if she would meet him again it would be a sign.
When she arrived back at the Weasleys they asked her lots of questions of where she had been but she just said she needed some time for herself and to clear her head. eventually she told Harry, Ron and Hermione about the boy but they thought it sounded a little off, but let it go quite easily. They had an amazing time together over the rest of the summer and they ended it with the Quidditch world cup, but that ended not so good. Joey and her friends where scared that Voldemort had gained his most loyal servant and that he would raise again.
--Then another year at Hogwarts is about to begin. other adventures are about to start and a lot of new stuff to learn, but what will exactly happen this year? That's what we are gonna find out.--
When 4th year finally hit, a lot of things had changed. A lot of friendships had changed like Joey had become closer with Cedric Diggory, because he lived very close to her and the Weasleys. Joey also got closer with the Slytherins like Draco, she already was besties with Lorenzo, Pansy and Blaise but Draco was an exception because he bullies Harry, Ron and Hermione so much but you know over the years they finally seemed to get along and he tends to annoy them less and less. So Joey got friends all around the school and almost everyone seems to like her besides some people of course, like Astoria Greengrass she hates Joey as much as Joey hates her. But still she got many friends from all houses and she couldn't complain and even she wasn't very happy she was exited for the new year to start.
When they all got off the Hogwarts express they were brought to the castle by carriages and when they arrived something was very odd the black lake was moving and the wind was harder than usual. Then they saw something, something spectacular: a giant ship rose up from the black lake and that wasn't all, after that lots of carriages with al lot of Pegasi were flying trough the sky and landed by help of the one and only Hagrid. The students were all mesmerized by what was happening but they were lead inside by professor Mcgonagall. They were brought to the dining hall and got the sit at their house tables.
After the sorting ceremony when everyone sat down Dumbledore made some speeches and then finally he announced something big. The Triwizard tournament, a tournament between three wizards from different schools and then he announced alle the schools: Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Then all the boys from Durmstrang start to come in and do a little show with sticks and fire pretty fascinating actually after they sat down at the Slytherin table some girls start to walk in also walking very fabulously and elegant, trowing pretty blue flower petals around.
After that they al started to eat and started to get to know each other. Everyone was talking about wanting to join the triwizard tournament but you could only join if you where 17.
When everyone was done eating Dumbledore had to make an other announcement he seemed pretty serious and stern. He wanted to announce another sorting, which was pretty weird because there never happens a transfer between schools and everyone was thinking that some first year ran late and that's why it happend know but then. A boy pretty tall, curly brown hair and brown eyes walked in. Joey recognized him. It was 'Newt' the boy she met during summer, but she felt a very weird vibe from the teachers.
When he sat down at the chair with the hat on his head it shouted very loudly" Slytherin!", almost every Slytherin was happy of course, but Joey felt a very weird vibe about this and then Dumbledore said it on a very calm, but stern tone "Please welcome, Mattheo Riddle"...
