The rebirth
Joey Scamander is the daughter of Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein. she was born in 1960 on January 30th, was sorted into Slytherin and her best friends were Remus Lupin, Sirius Black James Potter, Peter Pittergrew, Lily Evans, Tom Riddle, Severus Snape and many other students around Hogwarts. She was very loved around Hogwarts people were always surprised how nice she was because she was friends with Tom Riddle and many other Slytherins, because they weren't so nice to everyone. But mainly she was best friends with the Marauders and other Gryffindors.
Joey is one of the best students around Hogwarts, she always has high grades and she loves all her courses. She loves Care of magical creatures, astronomy, herbology and much more. She scores high on her O.W.L.'s and N.E.W.T.'s and Joey is also very loved by the teachers.
But than there something about her that its almost unbelievable, she possesses a power that's called the darkness, but that darkness is so powerful that it almost takes over Joey's entire life; Many dark wizards want that power and therefore want to get hand on Joey to steal that power.
Grindelwald wants to use it to rule the world and Tom Riddle got interested too in that darkness. Eventually he made the wrong choice to follow Grindelwald and that lead to a war between good and evil. Her parents got in the middle of the fight between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Which got Joey stuck in between trying to protect her self but that lead to a fight between her and Tom Riddle. Which caused her death. Well that's what everyone thought, but her 'dead' as they call it, actually caused her to be linked to Tom riddle's soul what made Tom's ability to love disappear. Because he only ever showed love towards Joey. After that, he turned in to the most powerful and darkest wizard of all time aside from Grindelwald.
Joey's dead caused Grindelwald's downfall but Voldemort's rising
When Voldemort killed the potters and failed to kill Harry Potter was because of the love Lily had for her child what reflected on the missing piece of his soul. So from that moment Joey Scamander was reborn but not as you would think. She came back as a 1 year old linked to Harry's life. She was reborn on the place where she died several years ago and a very old woman named Audrey Padmore found her and took her inside her home. The old woman died 7 years later and Joey had to take care of herself. She became a very independent and strong girl. She figured out she had magical powers at 9 years old and received her Hogwarts letter at 11 years old. She figured out life sooner than anyone else, she took care of herself, knew everything, traveled and she had nothing to worry about. She had inherited a lot of money from Audrey Padmore and never had any money problems. Joey was a very independent child, she is very lucky but isn't really happy either. All she had left from the women was a cat named Salem.
When she got on the Hogwarts express she met Harry Potter, of course she knew him already and she already knew Ron because he is a wizard and she lived close to him. They met Hermione on the train as well and although Hermione didn't have a great start with Ron she had a good connection with Joey. They started to become very close friends and were mostly together during classes and their freetime. Although Joey was a slytherin they always hung out together. That was the beginning of a very nice friendship.
They also defeated Voldemort together in their first year and were a very good team altogether. In their second year they had some inconveniences with malfoy and Tom Riddle, but they defeated him as well. But not as well as planned, Tom Riddle seemed to know Joey quite well actually and knew everything about her, maybe a little too much, things even Joey didn't know.
She found out that she was the daughter of Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein. She had no idea her life was that special. She felt weird, very weird. She had know idea about her parents or who they were, of course she knew about Newt Scamander the magizoologist. But she didn't know anything at all. This all was confirmed by Dumbledore and of course Joey was mad because know one had ever told her.
She even made the front page of the daily prophet. She became a celebrity of the wizarding world.
She practically lived at the Weasleys, she was there all the time and she stayed there mostly all summer. She also visited other wizarding families like the Malfoys, the Berkshires, and the Diggories. She often spent her time with her friends: Ron, Hermoine, Draco, Pansy, Lorenzo, Blaise, Cedric and sometimes she stopped by at privet drive for Harry.
She has made a lot of friends over the years, she likes to travel and make friends so that's why she has friends all over the country. She is not shy and is always looking for adventure.
Joey spent the whole summer thinking about what Tom Riddle said. She couldn't get over it. She felt like she didn't exist but then she did and more than before.
They started their third year together and Joey took the same classes as Hermoine did except for muggle studies. They enjoyed their year together, Joey even joined the slytherin quidditch team. But she and Harry couldn't go to Hogsmeade so they went multiple times under the invisibility cloak. After they found out about Lupin, Sirius Black and Peter Pittegrew they felt weird but happy and Joey had found her old friends back so Sirius and Remus felt like her friends but also her parents so she finally had found someone to take care of her just like Harry found a new father figure in Sirius.
But although Joey really felt happy, all these changes aren't that good for her. She again had trouble adjusting to all these things and she wasn't as happy as she thought she would be. Joey kinda took off during the summer and wandered alone town to town, village to village. Once she found a quiet field all alone she laid down looking at the stars when it suddenly began storming and raining but she didn't care, she laid there peacefully, self controlling the weather. Waiting for the thunder to hit...
