Chapter 14
A few minutes later, Bowie and Dawn came downstairs. Bowie was feeling better.
Dawn poured her cousin some tea from the teapot. Staci smiled at her and thanked her.
After that, Bowie signaled that they were done and made the others stand up. Nichelle nodded and told her friends to stand up. Bowie and his friends said goodbye to Dawn and Staci. Then they left the house.
Bowie walked ahead. Then they stopped.
"Okay, I guess we'll part ways here." Nichelle said.
"See you later, Bowie." Wayne waved at the gay guy.
"See you later." Bowie waved at the hockey guy.
Julia looked at him. He was leaving. Julia looked at him and thought of only one thing.
It's now or never.
Just as Bowie was about to leave, Julia ran after him.
She wasn't sure if she should do it or not, but she decided to do it. After all, a truce wasn't such a bad thing.
"Bowie, if you're not feeling well, you can reach me privately. You can tell me your troubles and I can listen to you." Julia said with a slight nervousness.
"Ohh, thanks, I guess?" Bowie said with a slight surprise.
Julia gave Bowie a piece of paper with her number on it. He then hugged her but pulled back for a second. They weren't quite ready for this.
Bowie smiled slightly at Julia in approval.
They were no longer enemies.
After that, Wayne and Nichelle approached the Influser girl.
"This is how a friendship starts!" Nichelle cheered.
"We're proud of you Jules." Wayne told his girlfriend.
"Thanks." Julia blushed and told her boyfriend.
"Okay, I say we have dinner together and then go home. What do you say?" Nichelle asked.
"Okay, why not?" Julia shrugged.
"Sure bro, today's training made me a little hungry." Wayne said, showing his stomach.
"Okay then. The bills are on me!" Nichelle said.
"Nicee! It wouldn't hurt to eat some burgers!" Wayne cheered.
Julia and Wayne cheered for the free food and then they left.
On the other side, Scarlett and Daisy were in Sam's hospital room.
Scarlett was examining Sam with her magnifying glass.
"Hmmmm, broken legs, bruised face, two broken teeth and a deteriorating psychology... I wonder who did this?" Scarlett spoke in a detective accent.
"I don't know, weren't you brought in to figure out who did this anyway?" Daisy asked with a slight sarcasm.
"We have some suspects. Sam's mom suspects Heather and her friends but they're all off the table. You all think Heather's guilty because Heather is the biggest bully in this group of friends. She also has a bad history with Sam." Scarlett said.
"We're not sure if it's Heather. We need evidence. Also, Dakota would never believe it, she wouldn't want to believe it." Daisy explained.
"I can't blame him." Scarlett shrugged.
Daisy and Scarlett looked at Sam while Mike and Dakota sat on the other side. Mike was playing a game on his phone while Dakota was still wondering who did this.
"Who who who... Who could have done this?" Dakota asked herself.
"Yeah! There's the scorer!" Mike cheered as he won the basketball game.
"Mike! Are you playing games here?!" Dakota asked her friend angrily.
"I'm sorry Dak, but I'm bored. Cameron's still sleeping and I've been sitting here for hours." Mike said.
"Don't be too much, man! It's only been an hour! Stop being such a drama king!" Dakota said.
"Okay, okay! Calm down!" Mike said to his friend.
Dakota calmed down and took a deep breath.
"Huhh... sorry Mike. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. Heather doesn't come here and she hasn't even answered my calls properly!" Dakota said.
"Heather is a bad friend. No offense, but no best friend would leave their best friend alone on a bad day like this." Mike said.
"She's busy... I just..."
Dakota sighed.
"I don't know... I'm not sure. Isn't Heather my friend?" Dakota asked.
"I don't think so, but..." Mike was about to say something when a text came to Dakota's phone.
"Huh? What happened?" Mike asked.
Dakota looked at her phone.
"I think it's a text. It must be something unimportant. Usually it's about shopping." Dakota shrugged.
"Are you sure you want to pass?" Mike asked.
"Sure. I'm sure it's just a sale on expensive stuff." Dakota explained.
Dakota was about to delete the text when she accidentally read the text.
"I know who did this..."
