Chapter 15
"I know who did this..."
Dakota was shocked by the message. Her face went cold.
"Dak? Are you okay?" Mike asked Dakota.
"I just... I think someone knows something!" Dakota said.
"Who?" Mike asked.
"I don't know but the person who wrote the message told me they know the person or people who did this." Dakota said.
"Should we call the person who wrote the message?" Mike asked Dakota.
"I don't know... I don't really..." Dakota hesitated since she didn't usually contact foreign numbers but before Dakota could finish her sentence her phone rang.
The person who called was the one who sent the message to the rich girl.
"Aaahh!" Dakota screamed.
"Don't be scared Dak, it's just a call." Mike said as he calmed his friend down.
"Do you think we should answer? What if it's a thief or something?" Dakota asked Mike worriedly.
"They call it a scammer but I think we should answer. Nothing to lose by trying. Maybe a little time but whatever." Mike shrugged.
"Okay then...I'll answer..." Dakota said.
"God wish me luck..." Dakota prayed.
Dakota pressed the green button and the call was initiated.
"Hello, am I talking to Dakota Milton?" The caller asked.
"Yeah? Who are you?" Dakota asked the caller.
"I'm Nina, I'm in your class." Nina introduced herself.
Dakota relaxed.
"Ohh, hii Nina. I'm sorry I didn't save your number." Dakota apologized to the slightly depressed girl.
"Don't worry, I didn't either. I found you in your class group." Nina explained.
"Ohh, that makes sense." Dakota said.
"Well, it's rude to ask but what did you call us for?" Dakota asked Nina.
"We found some evidence for your case with Tomy." Nina said.
"Ummm... Who was Tomy again?" Dakota asked the girl in confusion.
"Tomy is my boyfriend but that's not the point. Our point is to find the person or people who made Sam like this." Nina explained.
Dakota was very surprised that Nina knew about the incident. Even Mike was surprised.
"How could she know about the incident?" Mike asked but Nina didn't hear it.
"How do you know about the incident?" Dakota asked with fear.
"Let's say I like to get some records... but that's another topic. Our topic is about some people "accidentally" confessing to the accident." Nina explained.
"And who were the culprits?" Dakota asked.
Dakota was scared. She didn't want what Sam's mother said to come out at all. And neither did Daisy. Dakota took a deep breath. Then Mike gave Dakota some water.
"Thanks Mike." Dakota thanked her friend. Shee was happy to have someone with her, but she couldn't show it right now.
"You're welcome." Mike said.
Dakota went back to searching after drinking the water.
"Are you there?" Nina asked.
"Yeah, just a quick water break." Dakota explained.
"Okay then. I'll explain. The people who did this are..."

Note: Okay, this was a chapter that I forced myself to write. There was only one plot. At first I thought of adding scenes for Raj and Scary Girl. So I cut that scene and said "to be continued".
