Chapter 11
Mike looked up Scarlett's number on Whatsapp and called her. If it wasn't for the class group, he would never have found her because her number wasn't registered. Mike called the smart girl.
Scarlett answered the phone.
"Scarlett Genious is here, how can I help you?" Scarlett asked in a monotone voice.
"Well, Scarlett, Dakota wants you and me with her," Mike said.
"Me? Why? I'm not even friends with him. I'm not even with you. I don't even know why you called me."
Just as Scarlett was about to hang up, Mike stopped her.
"We need to solve a mystery. Dakota's friend is in the hospital and someone hurt him badly. We need to find the person who did it."
"Hmmm, why didn't you tell me that from the beginning? Of course I'll come! I'll send you the location of my house. Pick me up on your motorbike and let's go to Dakota's place," Scarlett said cheerfully.
"Ok I am waiting."
Scarlett texted Mike the location of her house.
"I left my location. You know where to find me, so bye!"
Scarlett hung up.
"She's such a crazy girl... or weird... or whatever."
After Mike muttered to himself, Mike got ready and went outside, got on his motorbike and headed towards Scarlett's house.
A few minutes later, he arrived at Scarlett's house. Scarlett was waiting for Mike in her detective outfit.
"Leather, huh? You and your crazy sexy leather jacket, huh? How classic." Scarlett smirked wryly and rolled her eyes, but it was a bit of a joke. It wasn't meant to be offensive.
"You're dressed like a... detective?" Mike asked, looking at her outfit.
"Of course I'm going to dress like this because we're sort of solving a murder, or attempted murder! This has never been more exciting!" Scarlett said with great enthusiasm.
"It's probably because you've never experienced anything in your life." Mike rolled his eyes.
"Last year I dated Max, who calls himself a "god of evil." Does that count? Because the son of a bitch drove me completely crazy."
"I dunno, maybe." Mike shrugged.
"Let's go." Scarlett put on one of Mike's spare helmets and climbed onto the moped.
"Let's grab a snack before we go. Dakota must not have eaten in hours," Mike said.
"I'm pretty sure that incident happened less than an hour ago, and a person doesn't get hungry that easily after an hour," Scarlett explained.
"Anyway, if it'll help you shut up, let's get you something too," Nike said.
"Okay then, let's have some 'Karam' chocolate!" Scarlett said with great enthusiasm.
Mike sighed.
"What a weird girl," he muttered, but Scarlett didn't hear him. And even if she did, she wouldn't have cared.
On the other side, Bowie had finished his grocery shopping. He had bought a few gifts for his boyfriend and himself. He had chosen them carefully. He wanted to improve their relationship for the better. He would not let that Lynda witch eat his Raj.
Bowie was supposed to meet Raj at his house today. His family wasn't home. They were coming in the evening. Bowie wanted to take advantage of the opportunity.
Bowie went to Raj's house. Luckily, he didn't have to knock on the door and wait because Raj had given him a spare key to the house.
Bowie unlocked the door with the spare key and entered the house.
The house was a bit messy, but that was okay. They could clean up the house together and have a lot of fun doing it.
Bowie took a deep breath and confidently walked up the stairs.
As he was going upstairs, Bowie heard some noises but he didn't care. There were some malfunctioning noises in the Raj house. This was one of them, Bowie thought.
Bowie went to the bathroom before going to his boyfriend. He washed his hands and face and relaxed. He was feeling good now, but what he didn't know was that... these good feelings would end in an instant...
On the other side, Dakota was waiting for the others.
"Where's Mike? I wonder if Scarlett refused to come or if something else happened."
Dakota huffed and held her head.
"Sammm... I miss you so much..."
Dakota said to herself sadly.
As Dakota held her head sadly, a woman from behind tapped Dakota on the shoulder.
Dakota looked back in surprise.
Sam's mother was looking after Dakota.
"I owe you an apology, girl."
Dakota felt emotional in the moment and hugged Sam's mother.
At that moment, all was forgiven.
On the other side, Daisy and her family were looking at them.
"I guess my talk with Samantha worked, huh?" Daisy asked herself.
"Samantha mı?"
"Who?"
Her parents asked Daisy and she just hit her head with her hand.
"Samantha is Sam's mother's name," Daisy explained to her family.
"Ohh, I get it now. You did a good job, honey," Mrs. Milton praised her daughter.
"Thanks, mom." Daisy thanked her mother.
"You're welcome, my dear," Miss Milton replied.
"Well honey, you can stay with Sam and his family tonight if you want. Your mother and I have an urgent business meeting tonight." Mr. Milton explained the situation to his daughter.
"Ohh... Okay then I guess. Good work and good luck to both of you at the meeting." Daisy wished her family good luck.
"Thanks, honey."
"We love you, don't forget that." After her mother kissed her daughter, they went to Dakota.
Dakota hugged her family and said goodbye to them. Mrs. Milton gave Samantha a check for 10k so as not to embarrass her. Mr. Milton gave them their phone numbers so they could reach him whenever they wanted. Samantha hugged the Milton family with tears in her eyes. After thanking them, Dakota and Daisy's parents left the hospital.
Daisy then approached them.
"Would you like me to get you both something?" Daisy asked the distraught girls.
"I have one request. And that is for you to look after Sam. Can you do that for me? I just want to relax a little bit right now and get away from these negative thoughts," Samantha Simpson explained to Daisy.
Daisy nodded and left them.
Both women sat on the chair and waited.
Samantha Simpson couldn't take it anymore so she rested her head on Dakota's shoulder. After that, they both fell asleep for a short while and hoped that this was all just a nightmare.
On the other side, Bowie came out of the bathroom and knocked on Raj's room door.
"Raj, honey, are you in there?" Bowie asked, but didn't get an answer. Then he put his ear to the door. The voices were still coming. Apparently, that's where the voices were coming from. Bowie opened the door, hoping that what he feared wouldn't happen to him...
And then what happened happened...
There was a scream...
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Note: 2 episodes in one night but it may be later in terms of broadcast. I need to take care of some things for my YKS application. Frankly, I'm nervous and very scared. I hope nothing bad happens.
