Chapter 12
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Bowie never thought he'd see this too. Raj and Scary Girl making love...
By the time the two of them realized what had happened, it was too late...
"Bowie..."
"Don't you ever talk to me again Raj! You and I are DONE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"
Bowie angrily shouted at his ex-boyfriend.
He then looked at Scary Girl.
"And as for you, shitty girl, I hope Raj shits on you while you two are making out so the smell never comes back! You bitches!"
Bowie ripped the necklace off his neck and threw it on the floor, then threw the spare key to the house on the floor, then took the gifts he had given him and slammed the door shut.
Bowie started to walk away crying after leaving that house. It was all over now. That Lynda witch had ruined their relationship. He was sure he would sue that Lynda witch, but he couldn't do it now in this extremely emotional time.
Bowie picked up his phone and dialed an unfamiliar number.
"Hey Staci, is your cousin Dawn available?" Bowie asked the girl.
"Sure! Let me ask him right away."
Bowie howled in pain and wiped away a tear.
"Are you...crying?" Staci asked.
"I... where's Dawn? Is she at your house?" Bowie asked.
"Yeah, at my house. He's helping me with my physics homework," Staci answered.
"I uh... is it okay if I come over to your house? To talk?" Bowie asked the girl.
"Sure, I'll send you the location of my house. I can also make you some hot oak bark "Mashhailye" tea until you arrive."
"What's that tea for?" Bowie asked.
"You'll find out when you get here, but all I can say is something that will calm you down and ease your nerves," Staci explained.
"Okay then. See you later?"
"See you later Bowie, goodbye."
Staci hung up.
Bowie sighed and started walking towards Staci's position.
How much worse could today go?
On the other side, Heather was eating with the other girls.
Heather wasn't usually a fast food person, but she and the girls had downed a few burgers in honor of her victory today.
As Heather drank her ice-cold Coke, she realized Dakota had called her nearly 30 times.
Heather considered making an excuse to get out of there.
"Girls, I'm gonna stop by the restroom and touch up my makeup. Also, I'll kill anyone who finishes my Coke."
Heather left the girls.
Amanda started drinking Heather's soda because she had a secret crush on her, but the other girls kept it a secret.
Making sure the others were gone, Heather picked up her phone and called Dakota.
Then the phone rang.
"Heather, where are you?! I've been calling you for so many times but I can never reach you!"
Dakota's voice sounded angry, but along with the anger was a great sadness.
"Bestiee, I took a nap. Then I went for a walk. I must have put my phone on silent. Of course I wouldn't have answered your calls," Heather told her best friend.
"Any chance you could come here?" Dakota asked.
"Why and where?" Heather asked. Even though she knew the reason, she wanted to hear it from her best friend.
"Well, a kid from our school got seriously injured and I'm with him right now. It's kind of sad because... well... can you come here? I need you more than ever," Dakota pleaded with her best friend.
"I..." Heather didn't know how to start the sentence. She didn't want to see that disgusting cow. How did that damn cow not die, she thought to herself. Then she found an excuse not to come.
"Well Dak... I'm a bit busy... we have to visit my mom and uncles and I don't know if I can make it there. Well that doesn't mean I won't come but I'll try to make arrangements. I'll write you if I can."
Heather hoped she had a good excuse. She didn't like lying to Dakota, but… she would rather lie than feel sorry for that snot. It wasn't something she didn't do, but she wouldn't do that to Dakota. Heather felt a chill run through her, but she tried not to feel it.
"Well, I guess I'll see you later?" Dakota asked.
"Yeah, see you later Dak, I love you!"
Dakota hung up.
There was no hope. Heather wouldn't come. Sometimes Dakota wondered why she and Heather were such close friends.
Dakota looked at the pictures of him and Heather. They were all so happy. Heather had also been there for Dakota at some point during some of her tough times, but this…he thought he would rather rot in hell than be there for her.
After a while, Mike and Scarlett arrived.
"Mike!"
Dakota hugged her old flame.
"Thank you for coming, Scarlett. I really appreciate it. I really do."
"You're welcome. Now show me the witnesses. I'd also like to take a look at our alleged victim."
"Scarlett, don't talk like that, Sam is still alive." Mike warned the so-called detective girl.
"You're so boring. Anyway, I'll go there. What's your room number?" Scarlett asked.
"57. Also, if you want to talk to Sam's mom, you can, but don't push her too hard, okay?" Dakota asked, pleading with the smart girl.
"Okay, but you should know that bad cop always wins, meaning the dominant side always gets the most information."
Scarlett left after revealing unnecessary information.
Mike sat down in one of the empty chairs.
"So... How are you?" Mike asked the girl.
"Not very good..." Dakota replied.
"I'm sorry about that, but Sam will be fine. He's a strong man," Mike said, complimenting Sam.
"I guess, but..." Dakota considered whether or not to follow up on what she was going to say.
"Is this about Heather?" Mike asked.
"Actually yes... he is my best friend but he is not here. I called him recently and he told me he was sleeping. When I asked him if he was coming here he lied. As if I would fall for that."
Dakota sighed.
"Do you think Heather did this to Sam?" Dakota asked.
"I think we shouldn't accuse anyone before the evidence is out there. Heather is annoying, but she's not mentally unstable enough to do something this brutal."
"I know, but Sam's mom thinks it was Heather."
"Hmmm..."
Mike began to think.
"I don't think we should assume a crime until we have evidence."
"I'm not sure, I don't know who could have done this."
"I wonder if someone from our school did it?" Mike asked.
"Of course, Sam's mom said so. She also said it was a girl."
"I wonder if Anne Maria did this?"
"Why would that be? What does that have to do with Sam?"
"I don't know, if there was a time when you were in love with me, he must have thought about hurting you like this."
Dakota blushed.
"I'll do it but... I want you to be happy with Cameron."
"Thank you, I hope you and Sam are happy too."
"I hope so... I hope so..."
Dakota leaned her head on Mike's shoulder. Then they both just stared at each other.
On the other side, Bowie was walking towards Staci's house.
As Bowie was walking, he saw someone he knew.
"Really?!" Bowie looked furious.
Bowie had seen Julia Wayne and Nichelle.
"Ohh hey, it's Bowie!" Nichelle said, pointing at Bowie.
"Oh shit..." Bowie sighed as he realized his chance of escape was gone.
"Heeyyy! What's up?" Bowie asked them in the fakest tone possible, smiling at them and asking how they were.
"We're doing great, really great!" Nichelle motioned with her eyes toward Julia and Wayne.
Bowie was surprised.
"Um... congratulations I guess?"
"What?" Julia was momentarily lost in thought and didn't understand what was going on.
"Thanks, man." Wayne thanked Bowie.
"You're welcome..." Bowie wanted to end the conversation but didn't know what to say.
"Okay, I'll go then, see you later..."
Just as Bowie was about to leave, Nichelle stopped him.
"Hold on there girl, you have to explain to us the redness in your eyes and the tears that are flowing. Who hurt you?" Nichelle asked.
"Damn, I hate how good you are at acting," Bowie told Nichelle.
"I know, that's why I'm so awesome," Nichelle bragged.
"Okay, I'll tell you but... if you come with me."
"Where to?" Julia asked.
"Just follow me."
All three of them looked at each other.
"Do you really think we should go?" Wayne asked.
"I don't know, but Nichelle won't stop until she solves this problem," Julia explained about one trait in her friend.
"Awww you know me so well! Yes, Nichelle Ladonna never ignores a problem! She fights for it and wins it!"
"This is why you got a 45 in maths." Julia sarcastically ruined Nichelle's iconic moment.
"Yeah yeah, let's go." Thanks to Nichelle's deflated ego, they started following Bowie.
"This better be worth it," Julia muttered to herself.
On the other side, Heather returned to the girls.
The girls continued to chat and eat.
The girls were unaware that someone was watching them as they bragged about what they had done to Sam.
A few rows behind them, Tomy and Nina were eating and were intrigued by what they were hearing.
If they found something interesting, they would record it.
Heather's end was near...very near...

Note: Oh my God, where is this story going damn it! I had originally planned Bowie's cheating scene differently, but I guess that'll work too. Technically BowRaj left. Now Bowie, Nichelle, Julia and Wayne are going to Dawn. What's going to happen there? This focuses on Samkota'non as well as the others. Just like Heartstopper. Anyway, Heather's plan had to explode slowly. I arranged Tomy and Nina for this. What will Scarlett and Mike find? Or will Heather end up in the police station? What will Sam's situation be like?
