Chapter Three
Julie's P.O.V
"Where did she go?" I asked Luke who was right beside me.
"She couldn't have gone far. She doesn't really know the area so she must be lost somewhere." He answered. We have been looking for (Y/N) for almost two hours now. The sun is starting to set so we need to find her fast. Alex and Reggie poofed in front of us.
"Did you guys find her?" I asked.
"No but, we did find a cool dog that was doing a handstand on the Walk of Fame and it was wearing a tutu." Reggie responded. We all sighed and Reggie looked at us confused.
"Did I say something wrong?" Reggie asked.
"No but, that has nothing to do with what we are looking for right now." Luke said.
"Let's not get distracted. It's getting dark and cold." Alex said.
"Alex is right. We are about 15 minutes from my house. Let's go back and tell my dad so that we can go and look for her in our car." I said. The boys agree and we start walking back.
Please. Let's find (Y/N).
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
I walked around for about an hour and sat on a beach for about 10 minutes. It was going to get dark soon so I headed back to Julie's house. I remembered which direction I came from so it was pretty easy finding my way back. When I got back into the garage, Julie and the boys were not there. I sat down on the couch and pulled the photo album out of my bag. I opened the book and saw a picture of me, Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I smiled sadly and keep flipping through the book. I got to the last page and saw seven year old me with seven year old Draco. I frowned while reminiscing all the happy memories we had before everything changed. As I closed the book and put it on my left side, Julie walked in with the guys.
"(Y/N)! We have been looking all over for you!" Julie exclaims.
"Apparently not everywhere because here I am." I responded back.
"Ooh! Is this a photo album?" The boy in the leather jacket said while reaching for my book.
"Don't!" I yelled while grabbing my album quickly. The boy jumped back with his hands up.
"This book is off-limits. Understand?" I said. They all nod.
"Well you know my name and we know yours but, you don't know the boys. The one in the leather jacket is Reggie. The one with the pink hoodie and cap is Alex. And the one with the orange beanie is Luke." Julie introduced. I gave a small smile to all of them when I came into eye contact with Luke. His strong gaze made me feel awkward and I looked to the ground.
"So are you going to Julie's school?" Alex asked.
"Yes. I think her dad is going to enroll me there." I responded.
"Do you sing? We have a band together. We do a bunch of gigs and stuff." Reggie asked.
"I used to. I don't really do it anymore." I said.
"Really? You should sing a little for us." Julie said smiling.
"No. I don't think that will happen." I said sitting back down.
"Well. We'll leave you to get situated more. We have a gig tonight. Unless you want to come and watch?" Julie said.
"Maybe another night. I'm a little tired today." I said.
"Okay. We have to get going. See you later." Luke said. I nod and they all leave. I took out my wand from my bag and looked at it. Should I even try to test that I even have my powers? I probably don't. It doesn't hurt to try though. I look around and saw a shirt on the ground in front of me. I think of a spell to do, when a memory from my first year at Hogwarts came to mind. I chuckled and decided on a spell. I get my wand ready and pointed it at the shirt.
"Wingardium Leviosa." I said while I 'swished and flicked' my wand. I wasn't expecting it to work but then, the shirt began to levitate.
"No way! It worked!"I exclaimed.
"How did you do that?" I heard a voice from behind me. I yelped and dropped my wand which resulted in the shirt falling to the ground. I quickly turned around and saw Luke with his eyes widened.
"W-what are you doing here?" I asked him frantically.
"I forgot something in here so I poofed in like a minute or two ago. I saw you holding a stick and you said something in like a different language and then the freaking shirt floated!" He explained.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I tried to play off.
"I know what I saw. I've had an off feeling about you since you've been here. I'm going to tell Julie." He said. I quickly run to him and grab his arm.
"No! Stop. Don't tell Julie or the other guys. I'll explain everything to you. Just don't tell them. Not yet, at least." I said. Luke shrugged me off.
"Fine. I won't tell. For now. But, I don't have time right now. You'll have to explain to me when I get back. Don't think you can get out of it either or I will tell the others about what I saw." Luke said. I nod and he poofed out. I go back to the couch and sat down. I sighed.
I really messed up now.
Hermione's P.O.V
I'm walking back from dinner and heading to the Gryffindor common room. Both Harry and Ron were not at dinner. I haven't seen them since Potions class. I hope they didn't get in trouble...again. As I'm walking down the corridor, I get pulled into another hallway. I quickly grab my wand from my robe and point at the person. They quickly let go of my arm and I saw who pulled me. It was Malfoy.
"Again Malfoy? What do you want this time?" I said annoyed, putting down my wand and crossing my arms.
"You still haven't answered my question, Granger. I haven't seen Moon all day today. Not in classes, not in the hallways, and now not in dinner. Potter and that Weasley have disappeared as well since the end of Potions. Are you going to answer me now on where did Moon run off to?" Malfoy said.
"I already told you that you don't have to worry about her. She's gone for good. That should click something in your little brain that says she's not here anymore." I said.
"I know what you said, Granger. But, what I'm asking is where did she go?" Malfoy asked.
"I don't know specifically where. She did leave me a letter to give to you whenever I pleased. It explains certain things. Obviously it says different things than the letters we were given individually but it explains that situation in the same way. I can give it to you now or I can give it to you when we graduate. As long as I give it to you, it doesn't matter when. (Y/N) gave me the choice of deciding when." I told him.
"Granger. You give me that bloody letter right now or I swear my father will hear about this." Malfoy said.
"Are you sure that your father would like to hear that you were talking to a muggle-born about getting a letter from a blood traitor, Malfoy? What would he say about you trying to see what (Y/N) wrote you after being tormented by you for years after your father declared her a blood traitor like he did with the Weasley family?" I retorted back at him. Malfoy froze but quickly regained his posture.
"Just give the damn letter. I need an explanation for what's going on here because you won't tell me a bloody thing." Malfoy said frustratedly.
"Why should I? Why should I give you the satisfaction on knowing what (Y/N) wanted to tell you after being the reason on why she left in the first place. Give me a good reason why I should give you the bloody letter." I told him.
"BECAUSE I STILL CARE ABOUT HER! OKAY? It was not my decision to basically disown her. The only reason why I was mean to her was to distract myself from giving her a hug or apologizing for everything. But, I couldn't do that because of my father. So please. Just give me the letter." Malfoy said. I stood there surprised. I was not expecting that, especially from Malfoy.
"Fine. Come with me. It's inside my room." I said giving up because he actually seems genuine. He nodded and followed behind me as I started to walk to the Gryffindor common room.
"Do you want to come inside or stay outside?" I asked him once we got to the door.
"I'll just stay here." He said looking away. I nod and headed into the common and went up to my room. I went towards my dresser and took out the final letter that was in there. I went back down to the common room and went outside the room to where Malfoy was waiting. I went up to him and handed him the letter. He quickly took it and rushed down the hall. I sighed and looked down.
It was probably sooner than you wanted me to give Malfoy the letter but we'll see what happens now, (Y/N).
