Chapter 24

Before Terence noticed something was wrong with Percy, he had ran out. Terence was kind of disappointed he didn’t have some deep, dark memory. But it seemed Percy did, or it was just getting his full memories back. All he wanted to do was chase after Percy and comfort him. He knew the redhead though, Percy didn’t want anyone to comfort him, he wanted to be alone. Probably because that’s how he learned to deal with things. All his siblings had their connection with another sibling. Bill and Charlie. Fred and George. Ron and Ginny. Even after graduation Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione were inseparable. Sighing to himself he decided to go for a run. It was something that cleared his head.

Bursting through his dormitory door he practically threw himself on the bed. He couldn’t control the tears that escaped him. Why was he always the defective one? All he wanted to be was normal. Turned out he had always been a freak. Not only that, he was made a freak. That woman made all of his attributes from three things. What would he be like without it?

The door opened and closed again but he didn’t look to see who it was. Not wanting anyone to see him crying like a baby, he grabbed his wand and closed the curtains around his bed.

“If you think a bit of cloth is going to stop me you aren’t as smart as you think,” a familiar voice said through the curtain before it opened.

“Go away Ollie,” Percy said, his face still buried in his pillow.

“Must be sick, you haven’t called me Ollie since we were second years.”

Embarrassment filled him at the memory, he had been trying to be one of the lads. It didn’t work it just made other boys in the House making fun of him more. Charlie being one of the worst. “Leave me alone.”

“I can’t do that.”

Oliver sat on his bed and shouldered Percy over so he could lie down beside him, the bigger boy stretched out. Oliver’s body was so much bigger than his it pushed him to the edge of the bed.

“Excuse me! This is my bed.” Percy turned over, now facing up with his shoulder touching Oliver’s.

“Since when do you care if I’m in your bed?” Oliver turned his head to look at him and raised his eyebrows.

“I’m not one of your swooning fans, Oliver, that won’t work on me.”

Oliver laughed and rolled over on him, pinning him down with his heavier and stronger body. Then he started to tickle him and that was all for a moment. Oliver had done this a lot when they were younger, trying to make him laugh after a bad day of bullying. But there was a difference now, they weren’t twelve anymore and their bodies didn’t react like twelve-year-old bodies.

Before he knew it, Oliver had lowered his head and placed a gentle kiss on his lips at first. Then they turned hungry, suddenly Oliver started pulling at Percy’s robes. Once the robes were off, Oliver took off his own robes and tie. The rest of their clothes disappeared with a flick of Oliver’s wand. There was a moment Percy wondered what the spell was, it would be handy while getting in his pyjamas. That was when he realized he was completely naked underneath the bigger boy. Just as fast as he came to that realization, things started to go further.

“Stop,” he said, pushing at Oliver’s bare chest. Oliver did stop and looked down into Percy’s eyes.

“I thought you wanted this,” Oliver said.

“I’ve n-never,” he said, sure his ears were red. How do you tell someone with a reputation like Oliver Wood’s you are a virgin?

“I’ll take care of you,” Oliver said, lowering his body again, pinning him again to the bed but not as roughly as before. It actually sent a thrill up his spine being so…controlled.

They were so preoccupied they didn’t hear the dorm door open and close a moment later.

“Are you sure that’s what you saw?” He heard Hermione whisper to Ron. They hadn’t noticed he just started following them.

“I’m telling you; Percy and Oliver were…you knowing…in Percy’s bed.”

It felt like someone punched him in the stomach. Percy and Wood had sex? But Percy had been weirded out about just being close friends with Wood because of the age difference. Why would he now sleep with him? Some unfulfilled schoolboy fantasy?

“Are you going to tell Terence?” Harry asked.

“And say what? Your boyfriend is cheating on you with the King of Gryffindor. No way. It is weird though knowing Percy is just in the body of a teenager and Oliver is a teenager.”

That’s how he found himself in the Dungeons banging on Snape’s door.

The angry face that opened the door matched his own. For a moment he thought he would be turned away. But the man opened his door wider and let him into his private chambers. As he entered, he noticed Snape wasn’t alone. Terence stared at the wizard that looked like he just got dressed hurriedly.

“I don’t want to know what atrocities you two were doing in that bed,” he said to both his biological parents.

“Nothing was happening, Mr. Higgs. And nothing will ever happen again.” Severus was glaring at Sirius.

From behind Snape, Sirius smirked while he righted his muggle clothes.

“Don’t be such a prude, Lambchop,” Sirius said, looking absolutely giddy.

“You won’t have to worry about where you stick your dick if I hex it off you mutt,” Snape said, his black eyes seeming to become darker.

“You would miss it too much.”

“Would you two stop being gross,” he pleaded.

“Fine…” Sirius sighed. “What do you need? When you came in you looked ready to kill.”

“Percy is a whore now.”

That seemed to shock both of them, and they took a moment to recover.

“What do you mean?” Sirius asked.

“Well, earlier it would seem him and the Gryffindor captain were having sex in their dorm.”

“That doesn’t sound like Mr. Weasley,” Snape said.

“Are you saying I’m lying? Go ask Ron if you don’t believe me, he got a front row seat.”

“Your youngest brother watched them?” Sirius asked, before smiling. “The times I caught Wormtail peeping on me and some Ravenclaw.”

That stopped him short. “First eww and second, why only Ravenclaw?

“I like them smart, what can I say,” he said with a shrug of his shoulders. He didn’t miss the look that was between anger and jealousy Snape to Sirius.

“No, Ron just walked in while Percy was living out a teenage fantasy of his.”

The heartbreak he felt earlier was gone, hatred now filled his veins. There was a reason he was in Slytherin. Finding out he was a Black probably helped in that too.

“What happened the last time you spoke with Mr. Weasley?” Snape asked.

He was led to a chair and sat down. Two other chairs were conjured from somewhere, and they took a seat. They sat in quiet for a long while, waiting for him to say something.

“We were in the library.”

“And?” Sirius pushed.

“I snuck into your office and stole the mind healing potion in your potion cabinet.” He didn’t raise his head, not wanting to see how disappointed Snape was.

He hadn’t needed, Snape angrily stood up and paced the floor.

“What were you thinking? We all told you that he shouldn’t be given that potion.”

“Why not if it could fix him?” He looked to Sirius to get some support, but he looked just as angry.

“You talk to him,” Snape said to Sirius. Then he started talking to himself “Stealing from my office and then using a potion without knowing what he was doing.”

“Sit down,” Sirius said, sounding sterner than Terence had ever heard him.

“Why?”

“Just sit.”

Terence took at seat and waited for someone to explain what they were so angry about. They never agreed on anything in the short time he knew they were his biological parents.

“Back in the first wizarding war, things got bad. People were disappearing right and left. We were taking heavy losses in our ranks. Then we lost Frank and Alice, two of our strongest fighters. There was a witness to their torture and insanity. A little boy who was in Diagon Alley with his uncles. The boy found himself in Knockturn Alley and witnessing the horror of it. He testified against all four of the Death Eaters. He was obliviated but not only that, the minds of the four Death Eaters were altered too. The spell was linked to make it stronger. It was so they couldn’t seek revenge or tell anyone else it the boy was the witness.

“A side effect of linking the spell, if the spell was broken in some way, they would all get their memories back.”

“What does that mean?” he asked, although he had a bad feeling he knew what it meant.

Snape stalked towards him and pointed a long finger at him. “What that means Mr. Higgs…you just made the four most dangerous surviving Death Eaters now remember who put them in Azkaban. You better hope they never get out because the first one they’ll kill is Mr. Weasley and I promise you it won’t be a painless death.”

Knowing about the escape from Azkaban he shivered. Had he just killed Percy because he wanted the Percy that loved him back? He needed to find him. It made Percy sleeping with Wood hurt less. The redhead might’ve hurt him, but he had just put a target on Percy’s back.

Sitting in his dormitory alone, he thought back to earlier. He had almost slept with Oliver. It was like someone else was controlling his body and thoughts. He wondered if it was because of the potion. Finding out his mind was meddled with when he was so young, was more than upsetting.

The reason he even kissed Oliver back was because he had a crush on him since they were first years. Honestly, he could say he was in love with him. Oliver had never noticed him more than a mate though. He wondered why Oliver did now. It wasn’t like he was any different. Getting the memory about his childhood like that was upsetting but he was still “Pompous Percy” as his brothers like to call him. The only thing that stopped him from giving into Oliver was Higgs. Sure, he didn’t remember the last year and a half still, but before that Terence had said they were together. He had to find out the truth before he could do anything with anyone. While he told Oliver he had never been with anyone…was that true? There actually wasn’t much he remembered after he had gotten tortured. Luckily, he didn’t remember that at all, but he also didn’t remember falling for Terence Higgs. It was unbelievable.

How could he even deal with the Slytherin after what he did. Percy knew he was always the butt of everyone’s jokes but to fall for someone who thought so little of him to pour pumpkin juice all over him. No one had come to help him or defend him. His House just laughed along with Ravenclaw and Slytherin. The Hufflepuff table stayed silent, for which he was grateful, but they hadn’t spoken up for him either. Oliver told him in their second year that he was jealous because he had so many siblings and Oliver was an only child. He didn’t tell him that usually he felt like he was placed there. Like the aliens on the television, as Oliver calls it. Just taken up in their metal ship and be completely different when they were brought back.

That would make sense if he had ever actually felt like he belonged in the first place. When he was little, he wondered if he was someone else’s baby. Maybe some boy his age was walking around with his real parents. Laughing bitterly, he shook his head. He’s a redheaded, blue-eyed wizard. There was only one family known to have a huge number of redheads. That’s not to say there aren’t any relatives with other hair color. His great grandmother on his mother’s side had raven black hair. When Great-Aunt Muriel was visiting, his parents always put him in charge of entertaining her. His brothers and sister would run away as fast as possible. His mum never really got on with her aunt. It was because Great-Aunt Muriel thought she was wasting her life with a wizard that was going nowhere. She also didn’t like the Weasley family had litters not children.

But she was a bottomless pit of information. When he was a first year, he spent hours in the Hogwarts library trying to disprove what she told him, he couldn’t.

The first rumor was the reason the Weasley family had so many children. That Phineas Nigellus Black cursed them when Septimus Weasley, his grandfather, and his entire family. The curse being that no Weasley male would be able to have children. They would die without heirs. The rumor didn’t end there, it was said that Nigellus’s wife heard about the curse. Being the stronger with magic and smarter, she reversed the curse. Sadly, or not, depending how you look at it, the curse went too far the other way. Now any male Weasley would have many heirs, just as long as they had children with a pureblood. She still was a pureblood supremacist after all. He was just happy he was too young to worry about any of that. At least if he had sex with Oliver, he wouldn’t have gotten pregnant since Wood was a half-blood. Another reason he stayed far away from any Slytherins, except apparently Higgs.

There was only one other rumor that really had his interest. There had been a rumor that his great-grandmother on his mother’s side was the secret child of Marvolo Gaunt. His parents didn’t know so he didn’t tell them. Great-Aunt Muriel liked the taste a Fire Whiskey a little too much, so there was no way to know if it was really true. The reason being the Gaunts died off a long time ago.
