Summary

Everyone knows that Regulus and Sirius didn't have the easiest life growing up at home, when Sirius finally gets the courage to leave Regulus is stuck picking up the pieces of what is left of his family. From early Hogwarts, Regulus has zero intentions of becoming a Death Eater, in fact, he would rather die than face the people that hurt him every day. (Not that his brother is aware but still), so when Regulus sneaks out the first day of Yule Break to the Muggle World it is no wonder he befriends the grouchiest old man he can find. A story of pain and growth for Regulus Black.

This is just a preface that I do not own Harry Potter, that I do not support JK Rowling and that the Marauder Era will forever remain the best era. That being said there is a lot of dark themes that I would like to put into this book and if you can not handle it then this is your warning, I am not comfortable with writing in-depth rape scenes unless I change my views on this, this is my warning that there will be mentions and that is it.

I am not a good writer, hell I am failing my com class right now, but I at least would like to try. Feel free to give feedback and ideas I would love to hear your thoughts.

Regulus will not be a perfect character, no one in this story will be, the story will start off as jegulus/potential jegulus but I haven't decided if that is what it will finish with, however, there will be no Jily, I am very much one that dislikes how James goes back and forth between the two in some fanfics and I love the potential of a Lily and Regulus friendship way too much for that. Anyways I hope you enjoy!
