Haruki read through the test and realised what the problem was. Everything was so unexpected and really… unbelievable in general. All these powers, soul pieces, heirships. But…he could use this whenever he wanted and it would help if the prophecy in his mother’s memories was true.

That was amazing, all of this power right in his hands. Wait…what about money? He needed to pay back his books and trunk, as well as get a wand. Then he realised the paper was slightly folded at the bottom. Oh. So this is the folder it was talking about. Right then, Bloodclaw walked into the room, a smirk on his face.
“Hello again, Lord Shiroiya.”
“...” Haruki stayed silent. “I’m sorry. What?” he said, a nervous smile on his face.
“Well, you are lord Shiroiya since it is your chosen last name, given to you by your parents, so you are the lord of the house and any other houses on that list,” Bloodclaw said.
“But that doesn’t make sense.” Haruki countered, “I’m not 19, so how can I be a lord.” Haruki had a point. “I should only be an heir.”
“Well, since both of your parents are deceased, and no one else in your extended family will take the place as Lord or Lady of the houses, the rings have deemed you the Lord of all the houses on that sheet. In addition, 18 is close enough, many families name their heir at 18, 17, or even 16, in case something happens to the heir”
“So, you're saying that I’m a lord now? Does that mean I can access my vaults? And money too? And family history? And-”
“Yes, you can, and maybe if you stopped talking we could get you your rings and vault keys.” Bloodclaw interrupted.
Haruki’s skin darkened slightly in embarrassment but he shut his mouth quickly. “A-alright.”
“Thank you. Now if you would sit down.” Bloodclaw demanded more than asked as he pulled out a long box from his desk drawer. “These are all of the jewellery that will name you the Lords of these houses. Different houses can have rings, bracelets, and necklaces depending on the house and where they are from. You seem to have all 3. You may put them on in any order, and if they all accept you, I shall get you your vault keys.” Bloodclaw explained.
“Alright.” Haruki paused. “So I just… grab them and put them on?” With Bloodclaws nod, he opened the box to see beautiful jewellery. He reached for something random and picked a wristband that was a gold coil. He put it on his forearm and watched as a lion carved itself on the ends of the coil, and made a lion tail at the ends, with glowing red gems for eyes. More carvings appeared with lions standing, sleeping, and fighting, all over the coil.
Then he picked up a necklace. It was bronze with a Sapphire in the middle with a black eagle seemingly inside the gem. Next, he picked a Black bracelet with gold accents with the words “Those patient Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil”. ‘Do they all have words on them?’ Haruki asked himself, ‘I’ll check later.’
He then picked up two pieces of green jewellery. One was a necklace, the other a ring. The necklace was tight around the neck, green gems embedded all around it on a thick silver chain. The ring was a slightly darker silver, with a dark emerald in the middle with what seemed like a silver liquid running in between cracks inside the gem.
After putting that on, he pulled a band that seemed to be made of marble, and instead of grey or black lines, they were red. Then he pulled out another band that was black, with green and silver ravens on it. He then picked a chain made of white marble that had a sapphire and ruby cut in half and put together, with a smaller version of the combined gems hanging off of the chain by gold chains.
‘They are so beautiful.’ He thought. At this point, there were only 3 pieces of jewellery left. He then picked up a pair of earrings that had white clouds. “Um, I don’t have any piercings, so how am I supposed to put these on? And are those even more piercings in there?” Haruki asked. In fact, he hasn’t gotten his ears pierced. He also noticed the pieces of jewellery weren't one piece but multiple bars, earrings, and other piercings in one area that made it look like a necklace at first glance.
“That is a trivial question. There is a magical tattoo and piercings shop on the west side of Diagon Alley. You may go there to get your piercings, and if you so desire, you could as well get tattoos, but make sure it is the correct choice. The rest seem to be jewellery that requires holes in your body, so you may step out now. I shall get you to vault keys since it seems the rest of the symbols of the houses accepted you.” Bloodclaw explained.
“All right then. I’ll wait here then.” Haruki said nervously.
“Very well,” the goblin confirmed, as he left the office and closed the door behind him.
