Summary
A bunch of plot ideas that I can't do justice. All different fandoms and ships. I dont care about credit for ideas but if you decide to write them let me know so I can read them.i'd prefer for them to be multichapter fics but since m not the one writing them, you can do what you want with these ideas.
Note

haikyuu/KNB crossover

After middle school, Kageyama stopped playing volleyball and started playing basketball for one reason or another.
- maybe he always played basketball casually but either couldn't or didn't want to play in that school. Maybe after that last kitadai match, he made a friend who liked basketball and they got him into it.
- Instead of Karasuno, he goes to one of the schools from Kuroko no Basuke
- you can decide if he joins the basketball team straight away or if someone from the team sees him play and convinces him to join
- you can decide how good he is
- IDK how volleyball skills translate to basketball so that's up to you to decide.
- This would be in high school.
- he can still encounter haikyuu characters and befriend them but you'll have to decide who and how this happens since he no longer plays volleyball and goes to a different school
- probably a slow burn friendship bc trust issues and no Hinata
- it may take a while to warm up to the team
- I actually feel like he'd get along with the GoM, and for some reason, I can see him being friends with Aomine and Momoi, probably Tetsu as well, not as sure about the others
- you can decide on friendships and romantic ships if you include them, though I do love me some Kagami x Aomine x Kuroko X kise, kise x kasamatsu, midorima x takao, murasakibara x himuro. so any combination of these would be great. but I'm not really against any ships that aren't incest or age gaps. like, as long as it's not incest or doesn't have a huge age gap, I can accept most ships
- probably gonna be fluff, possibly humor, maybe some slight angst but probably not much worse than canon, anyway, unless you decide to add more to canon backstory
- doesn't have to be fully canon-compliant.
- Honestly, I just want more Kageyama & GoM fics, because I've seen quite a few Hinaata ones but I feel like Kageyama would relate to them slightly more.
- His special ability, if you choose to give him one, will probably be the basketball equivalent of his accurate tosses but, if you can think of something better and more original, great
- poly ships welcome as always
- found family, friendships, Kageyama finding out he can trust people, both haikyuu and kuroko no basuke characters.
- maybe protective GoM - protective over Kageyama and each other because I strongly believe, even when they don't get along, they respect each other enough to not let anyone else joins them
- Give Kageyama a rivalry and someone to look up to - maybe Midorima for his accuracy or Aomine for his skill
- Don't forget Kagami- his rivalry with Aomine, his friendship with Kuroko, his interactions with the GoM. you decide if he leaves after the final game, but they do acknowledge him as a friend and one of them in the movie so, please, show this development a bit more
- probably focus on Kageyama improving his basketball skills, the GoM fixing their friendships and rediscovering their love for volleyball, and just their friendships and basketball, as well as Kageyama meeting, haikyuu people and realizing he still loves volleyball and that's ok, he can like both
- feel free to include a harem or two if you wish. I'm a slut for kageships, rare pairs and Kageyama harems
