L gets the second death note instead of misa
He uses it to perfectly impersonate the original kira knowing its light and how he does it but also knowing light can't say anything without exposing himself
Its an attempt to catch kira.
Light knows what he's doing and tries to make it look like L was always kira but for whatever reason it doesn't work
Both kiras are trying to cover their own tracks while exposing the other as kira
Misa still feels thankful for kira so still comes to find him, maybe even 3 death notes
It's just chaotic and fun honestly
You can decide ships, friendships and the ending
Maybe all kiras get arrested and all go down together
Maybe L likes bring kira and just joins light and they take over Japan and later the world together with misa providing an alibi for them
Please let misa be happy it's what she deserves. Idc how you do it but please let any relationship she's in be relatively healthy

L never imprisoned light or misa so light never gave up the death note
Misa may still end up with a death note
Just L and light being kira and misa knowing and helping them

The task force is just lost. They know of 2 kiras but can't tell if L or Light is Kira or both but then Misa could also be Kira.
The task force never stood a chance
Maybe whammy kids appear but, if they couldn't beat light and misa, what chance do they have when L is involved, though they may be allowed to survive
