“Never have I ever… kissed a girl.” Dean said, smiling wide. Harry rolled his eyes and took a sip of his water. He always started with that one because he knew that most of his friends had kissed a girl. Harry noticed that Draco hadn’t taken a sip and that made sense he supposed, but Seamus is super gay and kissed a few girls before he really came to terms with it. 

“What an easy one.” Pansy said, taking a sip. “Kissing girls makes the world go round.” Luna shouted a, ‘here, here!’ and a few people chuckled. 

“I’ll leave that to you, Pans.” Neville said, laughing. 

“Never have I ever kissed someone in this circle.” Ginny said. Harry groaned because Anna had joined them and he and Anna had definitely kissed. Harry took a small sip and hoped that Draco didn’t notice. Hermione, Ron, Dean, Seamus, Lavender, Parvati, Blaise and Pansy had taken a sip as well. 

“Pansy, Blaise?” Hermione asked with a laugh. 

“It was before we both realized how gay we were.” Blaise said and Pansy cheers’ed his drink with hers.

“Never have I ever…” Ron began. Harry did not like the look on his face. Ron looked at him and smirked slightly. “Never have I ever thought about a boy in this circle while I was… enjoying myself, if you know what I mean.” Dean and Seamus both chugged their drinks and then began making out, while the chaos was happening and the group was cheering and shouting, Harry took a small sip, and looked just in time to see Draco taking a drink as well. 

“Let’s play something else.” Harry said. It was already starting to get dirty and he knew his friends were going to keep saying targeted ones to embarrass Harry. Of course there was a round of, “no”s and Harry was pretty much the only one who thought stopping this game was a good idea.

“No way, H. It’s my turn.” Lavender said. The same scary glint in her eyes that Ron had. He knew that Hermione already had a few drinks so this was going to either pass easily or she was going to completely humiliate him. “Never have I ever wanted to kiss a boy in this circle.” Lavender was looking right at Harry and he noticed that most people’s attention was on him and Draco. Harry rolled his eyes with a smile. And took a gulp of his water, looking at Draco who was taking one as well. Harry heard a few of his friends laughing and he shook his head with a smile. Draco was blushing a bit, which Harry noticed happened quite a lot. He looked beautiful. He stood up from the circle. 

“Be right back, gonna fill up my water.” He walked upstairs and went to the sink. He was having a bit of an internalized panic attack. Obviously he wanted to kiss Draco… and it’s pretty clear that Draco wanted to kiss him too. On top of the Never Have I Ever game… Harry wasn’t an idiot. Draco was asking about his sexuality and He always got flustered when Harry would say anything flirty. But… how does it make it something more? And can he kiss him tonight after he’s been drinking? And will Draco even remember any of this, Harry didn’t know if he was a lightweight or something. He pulled out his phone. Remus would know.

Harry locked his phone right as he heard someone coming up the stairs. He smiled when he saw it was Draco.

“Hey you.” Harry said, walking over to him. “Why aren’t you downstairs?” Draco shrugged.

“Just wanted to make sure you were Ok, you’ve been up here a while.” He is so sweet.

“Aw, you’re cute. I was texting my uncle.” He said, slipping his phone into his pocket.

“Your uncle?”

“Well, one of my parents best friends… but he’s really close to me. I’ve always called him uncle, and my godfather too… they’re kind of two of my favorite people. And… you didn’t need my whole life story… sorry, Haha.” Harry said, shaking his head. Draco laughed.

“I’d love your life story honestly. And that’s sweet… I don’t really… I don’t have much family. I mean… I do… but they’re pretty uh… pretty awful. There were only two of my extended family who were ever even nice at all… but I haven’t heard from them since they left too… So anyways, yeah…I don’t really talk to them.” Harry reached for his hand and Draco looked up at him.

“You wanna talk about it?” Harry asked, Draco smiled. 

“Nothing to say really. My mom and I just didn’t want to associate ourselves with racist and homophobic assholes anymore.” Harry raised his eyebrows and grinned. 

“I mean… that’s a pretty good explanation.” Draco chuckled. “I’m sorry though. Racists and homophobes are so dumb.”

“The dumbest.” Harry smiled at him again. “So, why did you text your uncle?” 

“Well, to be completely honest… I was having a bit of a boy crisis.” Draco smiled and bit his lower lip.

“Oh, were you? What kind of boy crisis?” Harry took a step forward, still holding Draco’s hand, so that their faces were only a few inches apart.

“Well, since you asked. There’s a boy that I kinda want to kiss… even though he thought I was straight…” Draco turned a cute pink color and laughed. 

“I didn’t think you were straight! I… well, maybe I possibly did… a little!” Harry laughed too.

“Anyway… this boy is very cute and looks extremely adorable when he blushes, but he’s been drinking tonight and I dunno if I can kiss him because, well, I would never want to kiss anyone when they’ve had too much to drink.” 

“If we’re thinking of the same boy,” Draco began, biting his lip. “he’s only had one full drink and is definitely not drunk in any way. And if you asked him… I know he’d say yes.” Draco looked down at Harry’s lips and then up into his eyes. Harry smiled and set his glass of water down on the counter. 

“Hey Draco?” Harry said, grabbing his other hand. 

“Yes?” 

“Can I kiss you?”

“Oh! You were talking about me?” Draco said with a giggle. “I didn’t realize it… this is awkward…” Harry joined in.

“Oh, definitely awkward. Well, maybe I can find someone else to kiss…”

“Well… since you asked so nicely and everything…” Draco leaned in and pressed his lips to Harry’s. At the risk of sounding like a clichéd romance novel… it was a really good kiss. Harry opened up his mouth a bit so Draco would know that he wanted more, and Draco did too. They kissed for a while and Harry’s stomach was fluttering with the most intoxicating feeling. He didn’t think he’d ever been kissed like this… and he most certainly had never liked kissing someone as much as he liked kissing Draco. When they finally pulled apart, to catch their breath, they pressed their foreheads together.

“Wow.” Harry said with a pounding in his chest. He hoped that Draco felt the same way, because that was truly the most amazing kiss he’d ever had. 

“Ditto.” Harry laughed and took a small step back so he could look at Draco. 

“You’re—uh… you’re incredible at that.” Draco giggled and Harry was pretty sure that he was falling in love with him.

“You’re not so bad yourself.” Draco responded, causing Harry to grin goofily. This was probably the most amazing night he’s ever had. He certainly didn’t think it was going to head this way when the night started but he was most definitely not complaining. 

“Just so we’re on the same page… was that like, a super amazing kiss for you too?” Harry asked, looking down a bit. Draco lifted his face up so he was looking at him.

“Super amazing, the best kiss ever… one of those.” 

“Why don’t we… go get some ice cream or something. I suddenly don’t really feel like being around other people.” Draco nodded and Harry pulled him to the door and walked to his car. Luckily he was the last one to park in the driveway, so no one was blocking him. “I should probably text my friends just so they don’t start wondering where I went.”

“Well, my friends will never let me hear the end of this.” Draco said, locking his phone and placing it in between in legs on the seat. Harry chuckled and nodded.

“Oh, same. But to be fair, they were all being pretty annoying with the Never Have I Ever questions.” 

“Yeah… It gave me the courage to go upstairs and talk to you though… the ones you took drinks on.” Harry smiled.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” Harry reached over and placed his hand on Draco’s knee. He felt like everywhere Harry touched him, there was electric. 

“Well, I’m glad then. Here we are.” Draco looked up and realized they weren’t at any establishment of any kind, they looked like they were at someone’s house. 

“And where’s here?” Harry hopped out of the car and opened Draco’s door. 

“My Uncles’ house. They’re not home, but I asked them if we could break in and eat some ice cream.” Draco smiled and nodded. They were going to be in an empty house… alone… by themselves… Draco shivered. 

“So where are your uncles tonight?” Draco asked as Harry unlocked the front door. Suddenly there was barking and a huge black dog running up to them. 

“Snuffles!” Harry shouted, falling to the ground to pet the dog. “Snuffles, this is Draco. Draco, Snuffles.” Draco bent down too and pet him, he was so sweet.

“Wow, he’s a very good dog, so, so cute.” Draco said, standing back up. Harry nodded. 

“Yeah, he’s a real sweetheart. Anyways, my uncles are actually at my house. Whenever my parents and uncles are free they hang out, they have a daughter who’s Ephie’s age so they like to play together.”

“That’s sweet! Do they have any other kids?” 

“Yeah, they’ve got one who’s 2 years older than me. They adopted her when she was about 6 years old.” Draco nodded and followed Harry as he led them into the living room. “Take a seat on the couch, I’ll get the ice cream ready. Do you like chocolate?” 

“Am I alive? Of course I like chocolate.” Harry laughed and walked over to the freezer while Draco took a seat. Snuffles sat down next to him and Draco began to pet him with one hand, pulling out his phone with the other.

“Here you go, chocolate ice cream!” Harry said, handing Draco a bowl and sitting down next to him. Draco smiled and grabbed the bowl. They ate and talked for a while, just about little stuff… Harry was really easy to talk to.

“So, you’re pretty close with your uncles then? If you can just show up at their house?” Harry smiled and nodded.

“Yeah… I mean it’s kind of a unique circumstance I guess, isn’t it? I just, it’s always been that way. They’re special. When I was figuring out my sexuality and everything they were completely there for me, especially Remus. He’s bisexual so he kind of knew exactly how I was feeling.” Draco nodded along and just felt so warmed by Harry and the way he spoke so passionately about everything he cared about.

“That’s really sweet.” Draco said, taking his final bite of ice cream.

“What was coming out like for you? How did your mom react?”

“Oh she didn’t really. I mean she said she loved me and everything but told me she’d known since I was like 8.” Harry laughed and nodded.

“Yeah, when I told my parents they didn’t care. They were just like, ‘cool— pass the potatoes’.” Draco giggled and Harry grabbed the bowl from him to go wash in the sink. 

“This is a really nice house.” Draco said, standing up and following Harry. 

“Right? Sirius, my godfather, is loaded. He kind of has a similar situation to you. His family was complete shit, but they were all loaded. His parents actually wrote him out of the will when he came out… but his uncle left him his entire estate and then some.” Draco furrowed his brows. 

“Sirius?” He asked.

“Yeah, weird name right? Although, yours is Draco so…” 

“No… Sirius… is his surname Black?” Draco asked. Harry looked confused but nodded.

“Well, his married name is Lupin but yes, his maiden name is Black.” 

“That’s… he’s one of my cousins! I’ve never met him, but I’ve heard of him.” 

“Wh-what!? That’s… wow. That’s crazy… what are the odds…” 

“Seriously… Uh… I guess I can’t say that anymore.” They both laughed and Harry dried the dishes off, placing them back in the cabinets. “He’s actually like my third cousin or something, but still… definitely super weird.”

“Definitely.” They pet Snuffles for a bit longer and then Harry grabbed his car keys and led Draco out. He locked the door behind them and began driving Draco back to his apartment. He didn’t want this night to end, but he was glad that Harry didn’t seem to want to hang around his uncles’. He wanted to spend time alone with him, but he still didn’t know if Harry was just looking for a hookup… or more.

“Tonight was… a lot of fun.” Harry said, grabbing Draco’s hand as he parked in front of the complex. 

“Yeah… I agree. We should… do it again.” He blushed and silently cursed his inarticulateness.

“Go to a party, kiss, ditch our friends, and go eat ice cream in my uncles’ house?” Harry said with a laugh. 

“Yeah… minus a few of those things.” Harry tightened his grip on Draco’s hand and grinned. 

“Oh, I see…” Harry leaned in and Draco did too, slowly, very slowly, until their lips met. Harry was excellent at kissing and Draco wanted to kiss him always, just every single day of his life. They pulled apart and Harry got up out of the car and walked over to open Draco’s car door.

“You’ve already kissed me, twice now. You don’t need to keep being so charming.” Draco said, stepping out of the car.

“Sure I do. You’ve got to get that blush on your face somehow.” Of course, a slight blush did begin to appear and Draco rolled his eyes with a small smile. Harry walked him to his door and Draco fumbled with his key for a moment, knowing Harry was watching him. He kissed Harry on the cheek and began to turn away, when Harry grabbed him and pulled him for another kiss. 

“Erm…” There was a noise from behind them and it was Draco’s mom. 

“Mom! I… uh—!” Draco stepped away from Harry and turned bright red. His mom had a big grin on her face. 

“Sorry to interrupt… I just thought I heard something and came to check it out.” Draco was going to go jump off the balcony. “You must be Harry?” She asked, holding her hand out for Harry to shake, he accepted it with a smile. At least Draco wasn’t alone in being embarrassed, he could tell that Harry was too. 

“Hi Ms. Malfoy… I uhm… yes, I am Harry.”

“It’s Black, actually. But call me Narcissa, dear.” His mom said, letting go of the handshake. Harry nodded and cleared his throat.

“Well, it was really nice to meet you. Uh… Draco… I’ll text you!” And he practically darted down the steps. Draco turned around and made a direct beeline to his room. Of course, his mom followed him in and leaned against his door, huge smirk on her face.

“So that’s Harry, huh?” She asked. Draco couldn’t help the smile that found its way to his face.

“Yes… it is.”

“So, is he your boyfriend?” 

“No! Mom… no! God… it’s 2022!” His mom laughed.

“Right… it’s 2022… no more boyfriends?” Draco rolled his eyes.

“No. I just… I mean, we haven’t… I dunno if he feels… Just… leave it, mom.” She raised her hands in surrender.

“You’re the one who was making out at the front door. So… you’ve been spending a lot of time with this family huh? I… maybe I should meet them. And meet Harry, officially. You know, not after he’s just been caught kissing my baby.”

“Mom! Stop… Yeah, um. Oh! I forgot. You know Sirius, your cousin? He’s Harry’s godfather. Apparently their parents are best friends.” 

“No shit…” She said, folding her arms. “Wow, I haven’t seen Sirius in ages…”

“Yeah I was really surprised when Harry told me that. Anyways… yeah, I’ll talk to them on Monday about meeting you. I… they’re really awesome.” She smiled and walked over to kiss him on the cheek. 

“You seem very happy with Harry.” Draco went to protest and she held her hands up again. “I didn’t call him your boyfriend! You just genuinely seem to be happy whenever you see him. I’m gonna head to bed, sleep tight.”

“Yeah. You too.” He was happy whenever he saw Harry, to be honest that was probably a bit of an understatement. He was totally head over heels for this boy and he didn’t even know how Harry felt about him at all. Pathetic, Draco. Pathetic.
