Kitty was on a mission. She had gotten a great idea the other night after her and Yuri's daily face time had ended. The girl complained about how she missed Juliana while Kitty talked about how Minho was interested in everyone but her. Not long after the call ended, she had gotten an idea. She was going to ask Yuri to pretend to be her girlfriend. It was like how her sister and Peter had done when they were in high school!

Well, minus the actually falling for each other part. That wouldn't happen if Yuri agreed to this because Kitty had feelings for Minho, Yuri was still in love with Juliana! She walked into the cafeteria, looking around the room and stopping dead in her tracks when she saw the girl sitting alone. A shaky breath was let out as she started walking again. “Oh, Kitty, hey!” The sound of Q’s voice was heard as she rushed past him.

She waved to the boy, smiling at him before stopping in front of Yuri, almost falling over with how suddenly she stopped. “Be my fake girlfriend.” Those were the first words Yuri heard from Kitty when the girl rushed over to her. It was sudden, out of nowhere. She didn't know where it came from or why she had asked it. Yuri was silent, looking at Kitty with a face she couldn't read.

The shorter girl slowly began to regret her words, the silence growing longer. It made Kitty uncomfortable. “Where's this coming from?” Yuri cleared her throat, looking up at the girl due to her sitting down. Kitty let out an awkward laugh, feeling smaller as Yuri looked at her. God, why did she make her so nervous? “I want to make Minho jealous, you want Juliana back. It would work in favor for the both of us!”  Her voice grew a bit louder then before making Yuri look around the room. They were in the cafeteria, but it looked like no one had heard. She looked back to Kitty, seeing the girl looking like she was about to get on her knees and start begging.

“Kitty, I don't know if–” She tried to start but the girl was quick to cut her off. “It'll make Juliana jealous too and she'll confess her undying love for you!” She went silent at that, like Yuri was actually debating this. She let out a sigh, standing up from her seat. “If I agree, and that's an if, how would we do this?” Oh, she didn't think Yuri was agreeing with how she was acting. Kitty scratched the back of her neck, rocking on her feet as she looked around.

She quickly grabbed Yuri's wrist, dragging her out of the room. “Come with me.” She mumbled, running past everyone, Madison giving Yuri a weird look when seeing how she was being dragged by Kitty. Once the two were out of the cafeteria, she stopped, looking around before quickly darting and pulling Yuri into the closet. “My sister Lara Jean had pretended to go out with her boyfriend, Peter before they got together but– that wouldn't actually happen with us! Everything between us would just be fake, it'd help you get Juliana back, it would make Minho jealous and finally tell me how he feels.”

At first, she didn't answer and instead looking down at her wrist which Kitty still had a hold of. When she realized that, she quickly apologized and let go. “You want me to help you in making my brother jealous?” Yuri asked, crossing her arms as she stared at Kitty. “Well I mean, if that's how you wanna phrase it then yeah…” She smiled slightly, trying to understand what Yuri was thinking. She couldn't, it was always hard to tell.

“I'll do it, if you ask me properly, and if we make rules on how this will work.” Of course kitty wanted their to be rules on this too, in fact, she was going to make a list like Lara Jean did.

That's how the two found themselves in the library, sitting at a table while Kitty stared down at a blank paper as she typed her pen against the table. “So, this is our guide to fake dating. My sister made one, and in my opinion is kinda lame but… we should have some rules?” Yuri looked at Kitty as she quickly wrote ‘RULES’ on the paper. Kitty sat down her pen, looking up at the girl who sat across from her.

“I don't think we should kiss.” That was the first thing that was heard from Yuri, it made Kitty go silent. It wasn't like she didn't agree. The statement had just caught her off guard. “I just mean, I didn't think you'd want to? I get it's fake and I don't wanna cross any boundaries.” Kitty smiled at that, it was really sweet that Yuri wasn't trying to make her uncomfortable. Kitty picked up the pen, but stopped for a second.

She looked back up from the paper, thinking about it for a moment. “I don't mind kissing, but… maybe just a warning, you know?” Kitty shrugged making Yuri nod, letting out a hum like she was okay with kissing. “Okay, got it.” She wrote down saying something kissing was okay, then thinking about other things that she wouldn't want with this or things they would need. “Oh! Well, we obviously have to go on dates so, you'd need to know my favorite flowers and all that and I would need to know yours.”

“Pink and white Lily's. What's yours?” Yuri was quick to answer, Kitty scribbling it down as she told what her favorite was. “Gerbera dasies, obviously. My dream romance moment is someone showing up at my doorstep in the pouring rain with them.” That was besides the point, she didn't know exactly why she shared it. Though it was to late to take it back now. She thought of other important things they would need to know about each other.

That's when she remembered, they had no idea on how they got together. What would they tell people when they asked? They needed a story. “How do you think we got together? We need a story to tell people if they ask... Q will definitely ask.” Kitty made a face at the thought of that. How was she gonna keep this a secret from Q? He was her best friend, she did not keep secrets from him.

“I asked you out last month, we went to see your favorite movie and then I took you out to dinner... I took you home and we shared a kiss goodnight. Ever since that, we've been in love ever since.” Kitty nodded, but shook her head quickly after. “Only thing is my favorite movie hasn't been shown in theaters in years, so maybe it was just dinner?” That made Yuri tilt her head. She was fine if the fake first date they had was just dinner, but she was stuck on the part that Kitty's favorite movie hadn't been in theaters in years.

She watched how focused Kitty looked as she wrote how they began dating on the paper, how focused she looked. She watched how Kitty's eyebrows knitted together, how her tongue poked the inside of her mouth, how she was lost in thought and— “What is your favorite movie then?” She blurted out, not thinking before she spoke.

“Oh, it's the Harry Potter movies obviously." Kitty looked up, smiling even brighter at the mention. That's when she noticed how confused Yuri looked. “Yuri, don't tell me you haven't seen Harry Potter!” The girl shrugged, opening her mouth to say something but Kitty spoke before she could. “I'm making you watch all of them, if we're going to date, you have to watch my favorite movie series.” She put air quotes when she had said date, because they both agreed this was fake.

“Oh— one more thing.” Kitty folded the paper up, sliding it in her back pocket as she got up, Yuri doing the same. It didn't take till she was standing in front of her. “Yuri Han, will you do the honors of being my fake girlfriend?” She asked, holding out her hand with a big dorky smile on her face.

“I would love to.” She mumbled as she grabbed her hand before she pulled her out of the library to find their friends, her hand in hers.
