LIE/TRUTH
“Wait, you guys have been dating for a month and didn't tell any of us?” Madison was the first to speak up when Yuri said they were dating, she was also the one time notice that hand holding when they walked into the room. “I can't believe you didn't tell me, Kitty!” Q yelled slightly, actually seeming hurt. The boy put his hand over his chest, letting out a fake gasp before pretending to fall, making Jin catch him.
Yuri rolled her eyes. He was so dramatic about this. Kitty noticed this, slightly giving her a push making Yuri look to her to see a look given to her. “How did this happen?” Madison asked, tilting her head as she stared at the two hands that still stayed connected. Yuri raised her eyebrows when noticing this, clearing her throat which made Madison stop staring. “I asked Kitty out a month ago, we went to dinner and– well, we just clicked.”
Kitty smiled at the group, leaning into Yuri, laying her head on the girl's shoulder. Min-ho hadn't said a word, neither had Juliana. Why weren't they saying anything about this? She tried not to let it bother her, she tried to keep the smile on her face. What mattered was making their relationship believable. So, she sucked it up. Kitty let out a breath, squeezing Yuri's hand. To her surprise, she squeezed back when noticing. Yuri looked at Kitty, whispering in her ear to ask if she was okay, to which she nodded.
“Kitty, can we talk about this?” Q suddenly asked, before she even had a chance to answer him, the boy was already dragging her off. He pulled on the girl, she tried to protest but her hand was ripped away from Yuri. She let out a groan as she was pulled out of the room with the door being shut behind them. Kitty turned to him to see the boy quickly crossing his arms like he was actually trying to act like he was mad. “And to think you call me your best friend... You couldn't even tell me you're dating Yuri!”
Kitty let out a laugh at how Q was acting, failing to take it seriously. “We haven't even told anyone till now, my sisters don't even know yet. Don't take it too hard?” She smiled, not fully lying to the boy. Her sisters didn't know that she was dating Yuri. But then again, there was nothing to know because the two weren't actually dating. She was definitely gonna have to tell them something though. “So, I'm not the last to know?” Kitty nodded at that, because it was true. Even if this was fake, Quincy wouldn't be the last to know. So, she was only half way lying. Maybe she could pull this off!

She absolutely could not do this. Kitty was panicking, pacing in her room. The itch to tell someone that it was a lie, a plan to get Min-ho only grew stronger every second. But she knew she couldn't tell anyone, she had promised Yuri. But then her phone started ringing, it startled her. She jumped slightly off the floor, letting out a shirk. Kitty scratched her head, feeling embarrassed at what just happened even if no one had seen it.
She let out a sigh, quickly walking towards her phone that laid on the table. Once Kitty had picked it up, she saw that it was just an instagram notification. Now she felt even more embarrassed. This was nothing for her to scream about. She clicked on it to see it was Yuri’s post. She smiled slightly when she saw that the post was a picture of them. The caption read ‘me and the love of my life,’ to which Kitty giggled out. She opened her contacts, clicking on Yuri’s to send a message.
Kitty typed a quick message, saying something about the caption, mentioning how Yuri called her the love of her life. To which she got a response quickly, ‘it’s so people believe we’re dating, kitty,’ Kitty let out another laugh, putting her phone back down. That was when a knock was heard from the door. She didn’t know who it could be. Kitty turned the handle and opened the door to see Yuri.
“I was wondering if you wanted to go out? If we’re seen out together it would probably help people believe us, plus I just really need to get my mind off of Juliana.” Kitty nodded, she didn’t mind going out. She needed to get her mind off the fact that she wanted to tell someone anyways. Maybe if she wasn’t alone, she wouldn’t be stuck on it. “Yeah, just let me get my jacket.” Yuri nodded, making the girl grab her jacket that hung off of her bed frame. “Let’s go?” She smiled, following Yuri out of the room with the door shutting behind her.

The two had decided to go to a coffee shop, talking about things they enjoyed or just sharing stories. “When did you wanna start the Harry potter movies?” Yuri suddenly asked, which caught Yuri off guard. She didn’t think she was actually gonna wanna watch all of them. “You actually wanna watch them with me?” Kitty’s smile grew, gushing at the thought of being able to explain all the movies to a friend or getting Yuri into the movies. Yuri smiled at how excited Kitty seemed.
“Well I mean, you’re my friend and now basically my girlfriend even if it's fake… I wanna know about the things that make you happy, Kitty.” She shrugged, reaching forward and grabbing one of the scones they ordered. Kitty’s smile only grew bigger at Yuri's words. “We can start them on Friday after school! That gives us three days with eight movies, we should be able to finish them all. I don’t know which movie will be your favorite but I know you’ll love Hermione, oh and let’s not forget how we’re gonna need snacks…” Kitty’s ranting faded into the background as Yuri continued listening, making sure her full attention was on her.
