Mass murderer
"Ah, yes. Harry Potter, our new celebrity." Snape sneered.
Harry was sitting in his first potions class. He kind of had the idea Snape disliked him, he just didn't know why. He began his lesson with a small talk and then turned to Harry again.
"Potter!" said Snape suddenly. "What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?"
When Harry didn't answer straight away Snape's lips curled into a sneer.
"Tut, tut. Fame clearly isn't everything. Let's try again. Where would you look if I told you to find me a bozoar?"
"I would look in the stomach of a goat." Harry answered. "And to come back to your first question. Asphodel and wormwood make a sleeping potion. It is also known as the Draught of Living Death." Harry was so glad that he had read all the books and remembered everything.
Snape looked shocked, but fastly recovered it. "What's the difference between monkshood and wolfsbane?" He asked.
"They are from the same plant, which also goes with the name of aconite." Harry answered. Everyone looked shocked. He saw Hermione scoff, she was the only one who had put her hand in the air.
"That is correct but taken literally from your book so no house points will be given." Snape said.
Harry scoffed. He had everything right and he wouldn't get house points? He already hated Snape.

The first weeks flew by. Harry knew a few things now: Draco is a git; He hates Snape, and he hates him too; and Hermione Granger plus the Weasleys didn't like him.
But most people liked Harry and he was very glad about that. There were even some girls who blushed every time he looked at them. Harry knew he was quite handsome for his age but he didn't care about girls yet.
He was playing Wizarding Chess with Blaise now, while Daphne was reading the Daily Prophet.
"Checkmate!" yelled Blaise.
"What, no that's not fair!" said Harry who wasn't really concentrating.
Daphne rolled her eyes but then her expression changed and she practically yelled; "What the hell!"
"What? Daphne what is it?" asked Harry, seeing her mortified expression.
She looked at Harry and Blaise and threw them the Prophet. "Look at this."
MASS MURDERER SIRIUS BLACK ESCAPED AZKABAN
Harry looked up. "Uhm, who is Sirius Black?"
"You don't know who Sirius Black is?" asked Blaise with a shocked face.
"Uhm, no... I lived in the muggle world, remember?"
"Well, he is a mass murderer. He killed 12 muggles and a wizard and... he betrayed the Potters, your parents..." Daphne said.
Harry was shocked then shook his head. "But how could he escape Azkaban?"
"God knows..." Blaise said.
Harry thought about it a lot. If Sirius was the one to betray his parents, he wanted to kill him! But he was only eleven, how could he kill a mass murderer?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weeks flew by and Harry was still thinking about Black. How could he kill him? Should he even kill him? Was he lowering himself to Black's level?
One morning at breakfast he heard some whispers. Apparently Black had been at Hogwarts, in Weasley's dorm!
Dumbledore later gave a speech in which he confirmed it. He said they didn't have to worry and the Gryffindors would temporarily sleep in the Great Hall.
When Harry walked back to his dorm, on his own because Daphne and Blaise had classes, he heard some Professors speak. He hid in a corner and listened.
"How can we be sure he isn't looking for Potter?" Asked a female voice who, Harry guessed, was McGonagall's.
"He wouldn't be looking in the Gryffindor dorms, would he?" A male voice said, who was Dumbledore's.
"Yes, but maybe he thinks Potter is a Gryffindor? His parents were, Albus. He is Potter's godfather after all." McGonagall said.
"Trust me, Minerva." And Harry heard them walk away.
Did McGonagall just say Black was his godfather? How could he betray them and leave him with those muggles?! He had even more reasons to want to kill him now.
