Ricky Raccoon Kills An Endbringer
Sirens blared. Civilians huddled in fear as the angel began tearing apart the city, their minds just as vulnerable as the buildings around them.
Then, their savior arrived.
No one knew where he came from. Some said he was a Case 53. Some said he was a Changer. Some said he was a furry. And some said he was just a raccoon that had somehow triggered.
They were all wrong.
In Madison Wisconsin, Ricky faced down the winged abomination.
It threw its senses into the future, trying to predict him. It was unable to do so. It attempted to grab him with telekinesis. Again, it failed. It screamed, trying to scramble Ricky's brains, but was unsuccessful once more.
Not one to sit idle, Ricky moved. A quick burst of speed placed him right in front of the hovering angel. With the might of a thousand raccoons, he punched her. His physics-defying fist slid smoothly through her chest.
He reached in and crushed the core, causing the Endbringer to die, its fake body sloughing away like so much dust.
Capes watched in shock as the source of their woes disintegrated.
And all because of a raccoon.
A moment of silence and disbelief passed before Alexandria finally flew down to speak to their savior.
"Um... Thank you." She finally said. "But may I ask who you are?"
Ricky said nothing. He was a raccoon, and therefore didn't know English.
Alexandria was left in awkward silence. Then, Eidolon flew down to join them.
Before the other superhero could speak, Ricky bounded away, leaving the two triumvirate members to watch his disappearing form.
"Well that was surreal." Said Eidolon.
Alexandria nodded.
The world celebrated.

A vast distance away, a grungy, disheveled man sat in a dark van. Beside him was a black-and-white raccoon, which he lovingly stroked.
"Out in a forest, up in a tree, there's a furry little animal looking at me~" He quietly sung. "Oh Ricky. You've finally done it. You've killed an Endbringer and brought hope to the world."
William Manton scratched Ricky's cheek. The projection raised its head to enjoy the movement a little more.
He hummed the rest of the song to himself, there in the shadows.
"With rings on his tail and a mask on his face, can anybody guess his name?"
"Ricky Raccoon...~"
