"You!'

“That girl is way too carefree–she won’t listen!”

An listened from her bedroom door. Usually ignoring them, right now she just couldn’t. Her headphones were abandoned on the floor as she listened in on the conversation her parents were having.

“Yuka– please, listen to me first.”

“Look. I know. But she needs to learn how to prioritize her studies.” Yuka–An’s mother–took a deep breath before deciding what would be best for her. “Boarding school would help her.”

“Are you crazy?”

“Look, Ken–”

“Are you insane?”

Trying to stay patient with him, Yuka crossed her arms and looked him dead in the eyes.

“It’s the only way! If she keeps prioritizing her music, she won’t make it anywhere. She still needs a good degree if she wants to pursue music, how is she gonna do that if she’s behind by 4 semesters?”

Ken didn’t want to send his daughter away. Looking at her door, with the smallest crack open, he’d miss her too much. “I want the best for her, just as much as you do.” Leaning against the counter, he sighed. “Maybe she does need boarding school.”

Fuck.” An thought to herself as she leaned her head against the wall of her bedroom. This was gonna be a long discussion.

And here she was, her luggages being carried by some worker there. She stood in front of her boarding school. It was nice, luxurious even. But it was gonna be a living hell not being able to practice as much as she used to. Entering the school, it was pretty huge. The lockers were all white instead of the eye-soaring blue. The uniform was the basic uniform, a huge downgrade from her old private school one. Scowling at couples making out near the lockers, glaring at girls that glared at her first.

What a warm welcome.

Finally finding the office, she knocked on the door and was instantly greeted by the principal. “Shiraishi, come in.” He opened the door and pulled a chair for her. Fancy, she likes.

Sitting down on the chair as instructed, she greeted the principal.

“Sir, I was told to get my dorm number here.”

“Ah yes, that.” The principal opened his drawer and reached for the card with her dorm key and room number inside.

Whilst he searched, An couldn’t help but notice the.. absurd amount of trophies on the wall right next to her. So many achievements.. For once, she had hope there’d be a music club here. But knowing her parents, they probably chose a boarding school without one so she could focus on her studies more rather than sing all the time.

She didn’t understand why a boarding school, why couldn’t they just ground her again for like a month and then get over it? The thought of it was slowly eating her mood, so shaking her thoughts away she looked back at the principal.

“This is the room number and your key, please don’t lose it.” Handing her the two, he crossed his arms on the desk. “I should inform you, though. Since you joined in the middle of the semester, we couldn’t get you your own dorm.”

Feeling like she was just shot in the face, An raised a brow and looked at the principal with a rather confused expression. “I beg your pardon?” She scoffed, trying to smile this situation off. There’s no way.. Right?

“You’ll be rooming with 2 others.”

BANG

An felt like she was just murdered.

“Sir.. I thought privacy mattered, did it not?”

Clenching her fists under the table, she continued to stretch her lips, forcing out a fake smile as she stared at the principal, about to throw hands.

“Well, we only prepared dorms for a certain amount of students, we never expected a student to join mid-semester.”

‘Well you should’ve, isn’t this school all about discipline?”

“Ms. Shiraishi, please do not raise your voice at me.”

Leaning back in her seat, An glared at him with a scowl on her face. This guy.. Snatching the card and key out of the desk, she got up from her chair and left the office, slamming the door aggressively.

Sharing a dorm? No way.. He had to be bluffing. He had to be cause there was absolutely no way she was gonna room with some snobby, fat dork–

Her train of thought was interrupted when she accidentally bumped into somebody without looking.

“Oof!”

Bumping foreheads wasn’t exactly a pleasant thing. She rubbed her forehead as she slowly got up from the floor. Can people not look these days? Only being able to see the bottom half of the dork, she saw he had a phone in his hand. Of course he was a gadget addict, what a loser.

“Hey, can you watch it–” Before she could even think of finishing her sentence, she was met with the most gorgeous and perfect  looking man she had ever laid her pretty little eyes on. His hair looked like it was overgrown at the perfect length, it was ginger with a dyed yellow stroke on one of his bangs. He had olive green eyes and a single pierced ear with a paperclip earring.

An felt her breath hitch as she was met with the sight of the most perfectly designed man God has ever created. “Hey–”

“Do you not have eyes, loser?”

And all the thoughts she had of him just shattered into a million pieces.

“Excuse me?” An raised a brow, highly annoyed by what he just said. Did he not clearly see she was in a bad mood? And he has the audacity to ask if she didn’t have eyes?

“What? You don’t have ears either?” He raised a brow and just scoffed, looking her up and down before shoving her out of the way with his shoulder as he walked past her.

What a bitch.

After 3 wrong buildings, walking in on 4 couples making out, and millions of wrong turns–arriving at her dorm with the worst mood alive, she just so happened to drop the key and accidentally kick it inside. “Fu–!!”

Before she could yell, she felt a hand on her shoulder. Looking over at who it was, a guy with blonde hair, his ends accented with pink that matched his eyes. He wasn’t that tall, around her height. And he definitely wasn’t as tall as the dickhead from earler.

“Here.”

He unlocked the door for her. The lord had sent an angel to her as she sighed a breath of relief. Grabbing her keys from the floor and quickly got back up, clearing her throat. “Right, thank you..?” She paused, waiting for him to finish by saying his name.

“The one, the only–really fabulous–..” He stepped back, giving himself some space to do some stupid ass pose that would probably rip his pants considering how tight they were. “--Tsukasa Tenma.” He looked like he could do a backflip and the introduction still couldn’t get any more stupid. An nodded slowly, concerned as she looked at him up and down. She never thought she would get to meet the live action of the word dork, but here we are.

“An Shiraishi.. It’s nice to meet you..” She slowly took a step back, and another one, and another one.. Until she was finally in her dorm. It was small, sure, a living room and kitchen combined into one small room as well as 3 doors–possibly the bedrooms–one on the right and the other 2 in the really small hallway to the left. This wasn’t going to be fun. She just had to pray and hope that the other roommate is a girl.

“Don’t mind the boxers, they’re clean, I swear.” Tsukasa took the boxers off the coach and tossed them aside. Concerning.

The 2 here definitely made themselves at home quickly, that's for sure. She saw her luggages already on the floor and sighed in relief, she didn’t have to wait for everything. “Say, tenma.”

Tsukasa shook his head, walking over to her and–a bit too aggressively–put his arm around her shoulder, causing her to groan in pain as she felt the years of neck pain absolutely evaporate into thin air. “No need to be formal, call me Tsukasa, my fellow fan!” He ruffled her hair, causing her hairclips to get tangled up in the unbrushed mess she hasnt taken care of in a week. “Okay.. Tsukasa. Who’s the other one?” She asked. He still wouldn’t let go of her whilst processing what she meant, but when he realized, he put his finger up like those dork diary characters and exclaimed.

“He’s right–”

“Here.”

An looked up to see where that voice came from, and God she wished she didn’t. The second she looked up, she was greeted with the same perfect bod, fluffy hair and handsome face from earlier.

“You!” They both exclaimed at the same time.

She pushed Tsukasa away and crossed her arms, a scowl on both their faces. “What are you doing here?” She hissed. The guy simply rolled his eyes as he pulled his headphones down to his neck. “You’re in my dorm, I should be asking you that, stalker.” An was not pleased to hear that and was about to give him a piece of her before Tsukasa grabbed her hand, holding her back. “Now now, fellow youngsters. Let’s not fight, okay?” He nervously tried to calm them both down, eventually going up to the other guy and whispering something in his ear. Which probably wasn’t something the ginger would’ve liked to hear–due to the scowl on his face right after he said that–and just scoffed.

“An, this is Akito. Akito, this is An.” Tsukasa grabbed both their wrists and brought them closer to eachother. “Now shake hands.”

Was this guy serious?

They both stared at the guy, before looking back at eachother. Having no choice, they took eachothers hand and slowly shook it.. Finally, a truce..

Until An started digging her hands into his hand. “Ouch! You bi–!!” Before Akito could yell again, she twisted his arm aggressively. Making him go speechless and just pull his arm away. “Oi, who do you think you are?!” Akito was ready to throw hands, but Tsukasa quickly came between them right before he could.

“Oi! No hitting women!” As the two boys continued to argue about it, An successfully snuck away and entered the room she would be staying in for the next 4 years to come. It wasnt.. Terrible. The bed was soft and the walls were empty, giving her more space for posters. There was a built-in closet and desk there and it was pretty big. She couldn’t complain. Settling down on her bed as the two boys outside continued to have a screaming match, she stared at her phone.

7 pm.. Did she really spend that long getting lost? She swore it felt like she was never going to get out. Hearing her stomach growl, she was hesitant to go outside and get some food whilst her–new–roommates were outside yelling God knows what.

Out of every guy in this school.. Had to be him?’ An sighed as she let her thoughts eat her up alive. Her phone was out of battery, no way to charge it as the charger was in her luggage outside. “Maybe he isn’t actually too bad. Maybe he was in a nasty mood like me.”

She got up and decided to lean on her door, trying to listen in on the conversation.

“I’m not gonna be ‘respectful’ to a girl that looks like a before photo.”

“AH!” An yelled as she accidentally leaned on the handle of her door and fell through it, interrupting the argument between the two guys and causing them to look straight at her.
