The god Of Death Needs a Chill Pill
Thank gods it wasn’t a closet.
Tim ran forwards with pure demigod determination not to get caught as he dodged and weaves crazed wizards flying in on a broom.
The demigod looked behind him as a spell came barring towards him in a slow manner. He easily dodged much to the wizards dislike.
This was surprisingly the easiest escape he ever experienced, hades even public schools have more security than this and that’s saying something.
He eventually made it to the outskirts of a normal mortal village as the wizards rushed to hide themselves away.
Won’t the mist cover them? How in the hades has normal mortals not found out about them if they don’t have the mist?
It was 4 pm and he could tell many people just got off work as he dodged and weaved though the crowd of tired adults the wizard followed(much less gracefully) he ended up ducking behind a car as some wizards ran past.
The red head didn’t, instead this one seemed to have a brain as the wizard creeped towards his position.
Suddenly he felt someone grab onto his shirt, he looked up to see a pale man looking down at him with a sadistic smile.
“WHAT THE -“
His world turned dark.
When he awoke he was sitting in front of the man who kidnapped him in a small room that looked like it belonged in a cabin.
“Sooooo this is how I die huh, murdered by Uhm.” He paused before looking up at him.
Usually this is when the monster starts to monologue as it decides which spices would taste good on freshly cooked demigod meat.
“A god” the man replied.
“I AINT JACKSON WHY IN THE WORLD AM I BEING MURDERED BY A GOD.”
“Calm Timothy I simply want to give you a job” the dark god answered while staring at him with unnatural interest.
“Ok Mr.god man, Mr.boss, Mr. Emo with a scheme-o, like I said I’m not really the best choice” Tim said shifted quietly, he already had one quest and it ended terribly he doesn’t need another.
Call him a cowards or call him traumatized he doesn’t need to deal with a gods quest after the one he just had.
“Yes your two quest mates are the perfect example of that” Tim couldn’t hide the flinch at the gods harsh words before glaring at the god before him.
Screw being respectful,HOW DARE HE, how dare he make two of his closest friends death seem like a simple past time.
“Now as I said I have a quest”
“Go shove your quest right up your-“ suddenly a cold chill ran down his back as the man before him shifted from a normal man the a terrifying creature.
His eyes bleed black as his head sunk in to reveal a skull.
Tim could feel chains wrap around his body as the gods head snapped to the side.
A cool calm voice spoke “like you said you are not Jackson, you are no giant slayer, no tartarus traveler, nor the hero of Olympus, you are simply a son of Apollo, one of many may I add… you little sun have no right to talk to me like that”
He quieted down, right he’s a son of Apollo, he can’t shoot an arrow, or sing a mesmerizing tone, or heal or even make good poetry, he, in demigods terms, is completely talentless.
And he decided to sass a god.
Sucking in a breath he met the gods cold eyes.
“What do you need me to do?” He barely managed to squeak out.
The gods smile wasn’t pleasant.
“Well kill the supposed immortal and defy the fates themselves of course.”
•Olympus•
Apollo walked to his throne room quietly, Tim was…well to describe his son the word would be weak.
Like insanely weak, most of his children that don’t development a skill for archery or a powerful power die off before they come to camp and the ones that make it to camp.
He paused remembering how he never even bothered to claim the powerless before Percy’s ‘pay your child support’ rule went into play.
He likes to think he’s gotten better at that since his time as a mortal.
But he can’t even feel Tim power and after seeing the recent archery practice he can safely say the boy didn’t inherit that ability either.
But he just had to have inherited something.
The god made it to the meeting his father forced upon them last minute much to the sun gods annoyance.
“WHERE IS HECATE”
The goddess in question took the chance to step forwards annoyance written on her face as if her little pets didn’t kidnap his son earlier.
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE”
Thunder boomed in the background at that announcement as multiple gods and goddesses roll there eyes at the dramatic display before going back to watching the show.
“I simply decided to keep the people who make sure I don’t fade alive”
“Alive ALIVE when all of Olympus agreed they are to dangerous to be kept alive.”
The goddess of magic paused, probably remembering how those wizards decided to cut up demigods and experiment on them.
He caught a glimpse at hermes as the god of lies looked this close to killing the goddess of crossroads himself.
After all it was his son who they decided to experiment on.
And now it turns out those wizards live to this day safety hiding behind Hecate magic as they only grew in population.
And now they have his son.
“They know of the demigods”
Hecate, for once, looked regretful of her actions before quickly putting on a indifferent mask.
“They captured a weak one, we can make them believe it’s the last of the demigods.”
At that Apollo stood up, full height as he shamelessly exposed his true form in anger.
“THAT IS MY SON, MY SON THOSE WEAK MORTALS KIDNAPPED”
“Your son, may I remind you, that should’ve died on that quest to Florida.” The goddess defended.
“My son that didn’t and reported valuable information while still captured may I add.”
And for once Athena took his side, much to his own surprise. “Yes a demigod who relied on his intelligence, I must give the boy credit, but that doesn’t deny the fact that you let potentially dangerous mortals walk around-“
Hecate made a noise that could only be described as a the noise of a peacock dying. “I made it so that their magic can’t hurt any demigod, they’ve gotten weaker than before and have honestly gotten dumber as well. I believe that they only lucked out with capturing an injured and weak demigod.”
“So you believe them no threat” Zeus’s voice cut in though her defense
“Yes and I believe we should let the Apollo boy be”
“Let my son be, LET MY SON BE” he felt a hand land on his shoulder as he turned to see his sisters calm face.
He looked around to see the others all seemed to accept this.
This insanity, they are gods, the parents of the demigods, would let his son be the noble sacrifice to see if a mortal is still safe to keep around.
And they all seem fine with it acting like he was being dramatic for losing a son, weak or not, that doesn’t even need to be sacrificed.
This isn’t a quest or fate.
He hoped for once his father actually could use his brain and realized how utterly dumb the suggestion was instead he turned to see his father stroking his beard as if the suggestion was a good idea.
“We will test the wizards threat level using the son of Apollo, if they seem weak than we will let them be but erase any memory of demigods and if they seem strong..” the god of lighting paused for dramatic effect.
“Than we will massacre them.”
