Chaotic Market Street with Yellow Sun

"Oh, by the way Harry, your other guardian is going to arrive this afternoon", Viper piped in during breakfast. "He's a sun. His name is Renato Sinclair, the titled world's greatest hitman."

Viper drawled while typing away on their laptop. Indifferent to the fact that they dropped a bomb on Harry's nice morning.

"What?", he choked out and fumbled on the pitcher that he almost dropped out of shock.

Skull cried out when the water splashed over his shirt, soaking his chest and living patches of water on his pants. The cloud shot Viper a dark look because he knew that the mist planned it so that he would be soaked when they informed their sky.

"Yes. When you told me about the chances of harmonizing with a man in a yellow highlighted suit with a fedora, I looked it up. With that tidbit about curly sideburns, I managed to narrow it down. Mou, the one who fits all the characteristics and was recorded to flip Florence upside down during the schedule of your meeting matched to him"

They took a fork and stabbed it into a piece of cherry tomato from the salad and ate it, not even stopping their work.

Harry was now in a space of disbelief and a daze. He actually harmonized with the guy? But they barely even interacted. Instant harmonization occurred before, but not like that. They didn't even spend ten minutes in each other's presence.

He stood still trying to comprehend it, he didn't even want to breach the topic of the consequences of it yet.

The fact that he had a soul bond with a literal stranger.

'And his coming for lunch', Harry thought deliriously.

"Ah, Harry calm down, deep breaths. Here have some water"

Skull handed him a cup of water and Harry drank it all in one gulp before placing it back at the table. He also cast a quick-drying charm at Skull to help him out with his wet clothes.

"Viper, could you please explain more clearly? And what do you mean by hitman? How did you even meet him?"

Viper stopped typing at the laptop and twisted on their chair to face him. They swung their right leg over their left leg and placed an elbow over the table. They were completely relaxed and apathetic to the news they were relying on.

"Mou, long story short", they started while still munching on their breakfast. "You harmonized with the man you met at the market and his name is Renato Sinclair, the world's best hitman according to the underworld. His element is a sun, and despite the reputation of suns being healers, he isn't one. I managed to narrow his identity because of his recent activities which included staying in this town longer than necessary. Then when I was 80% sure it was him, I arrange a meeting with him"

Any normal person would have been frozen in sheer shock by such a crazy event happening to them. Because of all the people to accidentally harmonize with, it just had to be the world's best hitman, like what were they even doing in a little rural town of Florence? Isn't it enough that he accidentally harmonized. Doesn't that count as an unfortunate miracle itself?

But he was Harry Potter, Potter luck would make crazy once-in-a-lifetime events for special people chosen by fate into an everyday occurrence for him. Of course, it does.

So he instead, took a deep breath and factored in everything that his mist had informed him. Viper was far from stupid or overconfident, they were as paranoid as a Black. So they wouldn't be this relaxed if they had even a feeling that this 'Renato Sinclair' would be a problem.

"Are you sure you can trust him?", he asked in all seriousness. Skull beside him was also staring at Viper, devoid of their usual cheerful grin.

Viper snorted before they took a sip of their lemonade. They then twirled the glass to see the tiny bit of juice swirl inside.

"Mou, there is no such thing as 'trust' in the underworld. But he's your guardian and you're his sky", they said as if that explained it all. They then quickly finished up the rest of their food and turned back to their laptop.

'Well, that's vague as fuck', he thought annoyingly.

Harry turned to Skull with a wrinkled frown to try to ask for help in getting Viper to stop speaking in riddles. But to his dismay, his cloud was nodding along with the mist's words. Eyes clear and understanding the meaning of their words.

'Is this a guardian thing?', Harry knew being a wixen tends to dampen common sense but even he knew this wasn't normal. The only other person he could ask that would answer him bluntly in a way that he could understand was Kawahira. Good thing he left a two-way mirror to the true earthling.

"–yes yes, I know. Of course, I didn't mean it!"

"..."

"Don't give me that look! How was I supposed to know that we actually harmonized? I didn't even know about it at the time"

"..."

"Oh come on mate!"

Faced with the unimpressed expression of his fellow Gaia's child, Harry didn't know what to say to defend himself.

But despite the judgemental presence of Kawahira, he gained more of an understanding of just why Skull and Viper were nonplussed.

Kawahira had explained to him that it was an element's instinct to care for a sky and they wouldn't try to harm one unless they were harmed first or was planned to be. It's the same kind of instincts that human parents have about children in total. Most would care and help them but there are still some rotten bastards that would hurt them for the sake of it.

So the standard for an element to hurt a sky, much less their own sky, is pretty damn low.

"Good luck with that one Cielo. I heard that his favorite word is 'chaos' and the only thing he liked more than uttering it is making it", the shameless ramen addict laughed at him.

Harry's wand hand twitched and he itched to cast a stinging hex at the white-haired menace, maybe he can even find a partner to hold up the mist.

Somewhere within the main office of the Vindicare, a former Arcobaleno with bandages all over their tiny form sneezed.

"I would also like to discuss our plan for the Tri-ni-sette, more especially the Pacifiers. But that's for when you are done dealing with the mess you made. I really do mean it when I said good luck", they smiled cheerfully at him before waving goodbye and cutting off the connection with their two-way mirror.

'Is it just me, or do mists just always have to say the last words'

He sighed and ruffled his messy hair. He was going to need a haircut anytime soon, his hair was already longer than what he preferred.

Harry stretched his arms and yawned before leaving the bed where he sat when he talked with Kawahira. He walked over to the window and opened the red curtains to let the sunlight in.

"Harry! We ran out of bread so the great Skull-sama is going out to buy some. You wanna come with me?", Skull hollered from the kitchen.

"Sure, Just wait a minute"

The wizard then changed their pajamas to something more appropriate for outside by wearing a white shirt and cargo pants. On the way, he grabbed his wallet and checked the inside for the right currency.

Skull was already waiting by the door wearing a purple shirt, their makeup and piercing decorating their face. He lit when he saw him and the cloud pulled him out of the house with a firm hold on his hand.

"Viper, take care of the house!", he yelled when they left the doorsteps. Both didn't wait for a reply because they knew that Skull just did it for formality's sake, nothing was going to bother to find their house either way. Since it was riddled with muggle repelling wards and other magical safety regulators.

The market was packed when they arrived, the locals loitering and enjoying themselves.

The sun was quite hot and Harry was glad he wore a white shirt. He looked over Skull who was now regretting wearing a black hoodie. A saving grace was that his makeup is waterproof and wouldn't make a mess despite the sweat dripping from his forehead.

Harry decided to take pity on him and cast a cooling charm on him. He saw Skull visibly relaxed and let out a relieved moan. They then flashed him a toothy smile, Harry returned it with a slight tilt to his lips.

It was already past breakfast but the local bakery still served warm fresh bread. They entered and were greeted by the sweet smell of freshly baked bread.

Skull pulled him over and watched with stars in his eyes over the different pieces of bread and pastries on the display. Harry let the teen have his pick on whatever caught their eyes. He already made a note to bring home a slice of strawberry shortcake for Viper back at the cottage.

He approached the shelves stacked with already pre-wrapped bread and placed two warm ciabattas on the shopping basket that he grabbed at the entrance.

Noticing some mini raspberry tarts at the corner, the green-eyed wizard happily took three and decided to serve them as a dessert for tonight's dinner.

He heard Skull call out to him and turned around to see his cloud sheepishly holding unto an unholy amount of cinnamon rolls.

Harry gave him a flat stare and made him place back at last half the cinnamon rolls. Despite the sweet tooth that all three of them shared, that amount of cinnamon rolls could feed a whole class of children. It would only go to waste.

Skull insisted on paying when they arrived at the counter, but so did Harry. In the end, they decided to just split the bill and were on their merry way back home. And that was when shit hit the fan.

The ground below them rumbled as an explosion shook the market. People screamed and panicked around them as they ran as far away from the source of the explosion as possible.

Harry immediately tightly took hold of Skull's hand to avoid being separated by the turbulent crowd. He turned his head to the source of the explosion and wasn't that surprised when he saw different colored flames roar in the direction.

'Merlin, the Vendice are going to be pissed', he thought with dawning horror. So he pulled Skull in the same direction as the crows to hightail it out of this place before it got any messier.

He might have his 'people saving thing' but this does not count. He was already far from that bullheaded Gryffindor teenager filled with hormones and angst. He knew better than to run headfirst to a problem that he has no idea about.

But it seems like he just wasn't meant for a peaceful life. One second, he was holding Skull's hand and readying to apparate them back home since no one would even notice amidst the chaos, and if they did they would have thought they hallucinated because of their panic. Then the next red flames spasmed and a ball of storm flames were sent on their far left, right in the direction of a mother carrying their baby and trying to avoid being lost in the crowd.

As a civilian, they couldn't see the ball of flames that were about to disintegrate them. He let go of Skull's hand and disregarded his cloud's panicked shouts to run towards the mother and child.

He apparated on behind the pair and immediately disapparated away. He sent a mild Confundus on the woman and left her along with the baby to a place just far enough for them to think she was in here in a panic.

He then apparated back to where he left Skull. Harry knew that his cloud was skilled enough to defend himself and escape when needed so he wasn't that worried about them. Plus, it's likely that whoever those people fighting wouldn't want to pull an outsider cloud in their fight and possibly trigger a cloud rage. There was no doubt that the Vindice would be appearing soon and a cloud rage is something they wouldn't want on top of that.

He called out Skull's name on the crowd but still didn't get a response. He was beginning to think that maybe Skull went home to grab Viper to help them search for him when he accidentally crashed into someone running fast-paced.

He staggered but his reflexes prevented him from falling backward on his ass. Harry looked up and froze when he saw who it was.

'Of all the damn people out there', he blanched and stopped himself from turning heel and dragging either of his guardians in this soon-to-be equal parts awkward and messy meeting.

'Renato Sinclair' looked the same as he had met them before. With a stylish black suit paired with a yellow dress shirt and black tie. Along with the iconic yellow highlighted fedora and curly sideburns.

When the sun saw who exactly he was, they also froze and a myriad of expressions flashed in their eyes. Harry recognized relief, happiness, and excitement but he also winced when justifiable anger and tension flashes briefly. He would also be mad if he was in the hitman's shoes.

Skull has joked about the situation. He laughed and said that Harry was like a person who escaped a one-night stand when he promised marriage and also left them a child. Safe to say, Skull got what was coming for him afterward.

Yet Harry was indeed guilty for running away. But to his defense, he knew nothing about flames back then and didn't mean to Harmonize with the guy so suddenly. 'He wouldn't admit it even if he's on his deathbed that those adoring eyes so like his fans were what made him hightail it'

Both of them were ready to initiate a conversation when another loud rumble interrupted them. They quickly turned their head in the direction and saw two men menacingly approach. The two men were clearly storms and rushed towards Renato with the intent to kill.

Renato clicked his tongue and pointed his gun at the two storms. Yellow flames flaring, he moved quicker and deadlier than any normal man could and managed to push Harry behind him while simultaneously kicking one of the storms in the stomach, sending them flying to the nearby building. And firing his gun which he jammed on the other storm's forehead.

The sound of a gunshot made him twitch but the blood that splattered over the hitman bothered him more. Quick as a bullet, Renato dashed to the place where the man he kicked was slowly regaining their balance. Another gunshot resounded in the air and a loud pained shout was followed by dead silence.

Renato was then about to saunter over him when Harry felt his instincts flare. Before he even knew it, his body moved instinctively and he shot a Stupefy to Renato's right. His work paid off when just in time, a mist appeared with the intention of stabbing a knife at Renato's back. But to his embarrassment, it didn't help much since the man quickly fired a shot in the mist's direction without even looking at them.

But they did appear curious about the red jet of light that hit the mist and rendered them unconscious before they placed a bullet on him.

"Last one down", they mumbled as they tucked their gun back into their pocket and fixed their fedora. Renato looked at the blood splattered on his clothes and wrinkled his nose. The spray of blood wasn't that noticeable on the black suit, but the yellow of his dress shirt made the red stand out like a neon sign.

They huffed in annoyance before turning back to Harry in a quick change of mood. With a smile that was a combination of a smug smirk and a polite smile. He took Harry's hand and like a gentleman, placed a kiss over it.

"Ciao Signor Cielo, you are one hard sky to catch. Mi chiamo Renato Sinclair. Your Sun Guardian. How about we discuss this more over some coffee at my place?"

They grinned as they took hold of one hand in their grip. Suddenly, Harry was getting a feeling that this was not a request. He was about to retort finding Viper to have them for an explanation but the sudden influx of furious cloud flames made both stiffen.

Harry was intimately familiar with those flames, even in their furious state. He looked behind and lo and behold.

Skull was standing there with raging purple eyes, cloud flaming roaring and ready to hit. Just on the end of springing into a cloud rage.

Losing sight of his sky who jumped in to save some civilians amidst a mafia attack, then scouring the whole town looking for them, and only see him being kept in place by a grip on the hand by a blood-splattered man with corpses all around.

Oh boy, Skull sure did have a stressful morning. He just wanted to buy some cinnamon rolls.

Reborn stared with unimpressed eyes, but the rigid posture and his hand slowly reaching for his gun said otherwise.

Skull might have been a civilian without the training and experience that a Mafioso has, but he is still a cloud. A damn powerful cloud at that. Even the best hitman in the world would have a hard and messy time dealing with them.

The only thing keeping Renato and Skull from lunging at each other was the feeling of a guardian bond between them. The confirmation that they were both guardians of the same sky.

A vein was ready to pop in Harry's forehead. He pinched the bridge of his nose and tried to reign his temper in. He needed to be the bigger man in this situation. He can't just cast a Petrificus Totalus at both of them and then apparate back home.

"Mou, what kind of mess is this. The Vendice is coming, hurry up. I don't want to bail out any of you. Except Harry", Viper added as if an afterthought. Harry sighed in relief when the miser made their appearance on the street. Their presence diffuse the tension by some margin and it was now likely that Skull would go into cloud rage or Renato was to shoot the cloud.

He walked towards Skull and Renato followed after him. When the two were in touching range, Harry placed a hand on both of their shoulders.

"Okay, close your eyes. This will take a second"

Without waiting for a reply, he apparated them back to the cottage. As someone who apparated frequently, Harry landed gracefully. Skull tumbled but managed to catch himself and surprisingly so did Renato. Although the sun looked a little green.

He then turned around and lifted the elder wand into the air. He flicked it and the furniture around the house moved to accommodate his will.

The sofa enlarged again and Harry made it curl like a half-moon instead of letting it just extend. The rectangular wooden table in front of the sofa turned into a circular shape. He summoned the tea set from the kitchen and made them prepare and serve themselves.

He then turned to Skull with a raised eyebrow. "Skull, where did you place the pastries and bread?"

And as expected, Skull guiltily scratched their head and avoided his eyes.

Harry remembered the place where he separated from Skull and tried his best to summon it. Then in his open hand, fell the red basket that contained the food they brought from the bakery. He checked to see if any was damaged from Skull leaving them on the street unattended but was grateful when they were all fine.

He turned around to see a peculiar sight. Viper was currently checking something on their phone with their right hand grabbing the hood of Skull's hoodie. Skull was glaring at Renato like a hissy cat while the said hitman was busy looking with wonder at the sudden magic he performed.

'Alright, I hope this is the last time I have to explain magic and whatnot. Merlin, I'm starting to feel old for some reason', he had a sneaking suspicion that before he reached his fifties, he'd have the same amount of white hair as Kawahira.

"Hello, Mr. Sinclair. I apologize for my sudden actions the last time we met. It's just, I was still unaware of what dying will flame and even what the mafia was in total. I hope that we'll be able to solve our misunderstanding", he politely said with manners that would have made Draco proud.

Renato blinked with surprise before a smug grin—that Harry was beginning to realize was his default expression—appeared on his face.

"No problem Cielo. I'm here now and I'm here to stay. So can you do a little explanation about that and earlier? I'd hate to be left out", they closed their eyes and grinned in a way that had Harry's hair stand at its end. It was like a cocktail of the twins' mischievous grin¹ and a pissed off Narcissa's 'fuck you' polite smile in a murderous mix².

'Merlin, help me'
