“Sonoro maxima!” I said waving my wand around our door then I headed back to Mary’s bed to meet my friends.
“Baubillious!” Mary pointed her wand at the radio, we held our breath. It was so quiet. There were sparks, there was a small sound, then there was nothing. There was a click… click…

“Oh my god. Oh my god!” Lily exclaimed.
“Holy George Harrison we did it!” Marlene gawked
“More like holy My Sweet Lord.” Mary’s voice was in awe.
“We combined muggle and magic!” I couldn’t believe it actually worked. The song was nice, it was mellow and calming but it was also upbeat and energetic. I liked the song. Mary started singing along with a hairbrush in her hand, Lily grabbed my hand and we started dancing. Marlene joined Mary in singing.

“Don’t worry haze, you’ll know the lyrics eventually, this song is almost always playing on the radio!” Lily smiled. We spent the rest of the day listening to songs and hearing the muggles talk about the songs.

It was the first day of classes, we were walking to the great hall for dinner when we found my brother waiting for something.
“Haze can I talk to you?” He asked and I sent my friends into the great hall so they could save me a seat.
“Do have an umbrella?” He asked me
“What?”
“Do you know any water repellent spells?
“Water repellent spells?”
“Just don’t sit on the table side closest to the Slytherins.” He told me.
“Does this have anything to do with your friends and severus fight in lessons today?”
“No we planned this before that.”
“This is your revenge isn’t it?”
“Yes.” I sighed, Lily wouldn’t like this at all and would definitely hate the fact that I knew about it and did nothing. But on the other hand, severus was a horrible person. “So, don’t sit on the slytherin side right?”
James smiled “exactly.”
We walked into the great hall, Lily had seemed to go into a debate with the boys. I looked to Mary and she mouthed ‘Snape’, I nodded.
It was Remus who shot the cruse, immediately it began to rain. The most bizzare yet most impressive thing was that it was only raining on the Slytherins.
“Holy revenge!” Marlene was laughing, Mary too, I couldn’t help but join in. Sirius was smiling, I looked at James and gave him a thumbs up. No one was getting hurt people were just wet. It was a harmless prank.
“This is so cool!” Marlene said “I have to learn this spell!” The three of us laughed until we looked at Lily. She looked both horrified and mad.
“You guys really think this is funny?!” She moved passed us then turned to James. “Stop it! I know it’s you! Stop it now!” James was still laughing, he showed her his wand as if proving that he couldn’t be doing this. We had all thought it was fun, until the rain grew bigger and more powerful. I had to hand it to Remus he had power. What was once rain had now grown into a full blown storm. People weren’t laughing anymore. I tugged on James sleeve, he nodded. Lily was crying, sobbing even.
“Stop it! Please!” Lily cried to James. James turned to Remus.
“Er… Remus? He’s had enough mate.” James said looking at the storm. Remus seemed to realize that the storm had gone too far, he started his wand to turn it off but someone beat him to it.
“Finite!” The storm shut off instantly, all heads turned to Professor Dumbledore. He told us to go to our dormitories, he sent Lily to get Madame Pomfry. The boys looked nervous, I turned to my friends.
“That got scary.” Mary said.
“You’re kidding right? Haze your brother is so cool!” Marlene said. I knew the Slytherins called her names when I wasn’t around. They were hyper-fixed on blood status and Mary and Marlene got the bad end of it. This wasn’t just marauders revenge, it was for everyone.
