I want to choose my path
Without a doubt, the season 2 ending broke my heart.
Like a large part of the fandom, I ship Ava/Deborah, and for the two to part ways had tears slipping down my face. I want these two back together, but until a new season comes, that can only be in fanfics that you all create.
So, here’s a short what-if prompt:
Deb let’s Ava go, hoping that she’ll become successful and take advantage of some of the offers that she feels will start coming her way.
Ava obviously could care less about that, wanting to just be with Deb.
I’ve seen a lot of fics, before the season covered how Deb would handle the email, look at Ava self-sabotaging or harming herself in some way.
What-if it was the same here? What if she simply chose not to take any of the offers and pursues another avenue to make money?
Of course Deb finds out, she’s likely got Damien and Marcus monitoring everything for mentions of Ava, and when there are none, so begins to worry.
What happens from there is up to you as the writer, but please put these two amazing ladies back together for me ❤️
