Trusting Miss Dowling
What if Bloom hesitated after saying the ride she took with Beatrix was just a joy ride?
Miss Dowling has been there for her since day one, no matter what she kept quiet about at first, and her first concern was to ask if she was ok.
She hadn’t even tried to cuff her with those wrist bracelets like she did Beatrix. Could she really trust Miss Dowling? Sure, Beatrix may have taken her to Aster Dell and explained how they could be from there, but it didn’t mean that she was right.
Looking at Miss Dowling and thinking back to all the times this year that she has been able to go to her…. she couldn’t do it. If Rosalind really was alive, maybe there was a reason she had lied.
After all, she’d done nothing but keep her safe from the Burned Ones, from herself, and now from Beatrix because she thought her a threat. So, logic would follow that Rosalind was likely someone she felt could cause Bloom harm.
With a deep breath, she opened her mouth and retracted her statement. What follows from there is up to you, though bonus if fluff and feels between Bloom and Farah, and perhaps even Mr. Silva, are involved.
