Chapter 1
Hermione:
It has been a week since Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown broke up, and thank god Hermione couldn’t stand that relationship. Maybe she, as in, Hermione, could’ve done it better for her best friend. But no, she’s in a relationship with none other than Victor Krum.
Hermione cares about Ron’s break up with Lavender but is a bit shocked when she finds out that Lavender was kissing another girl, who was in the Gryffindor House, Parvati Patil. Hermione nearly gagged at the sight of them kissing. It wasn’t the same kissing she was used to seeing: boys and girls kissing one another, and not girls and girls. So she decides to take matters into her own hands.

“Let me get this straight,” Hermione began as the conversation began to slow down about the upcoming O.W.L.S. and the NEWTS with her guy best friends, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, turning into a conversation about relationships. She looked directly at Ron and she could tell he was sweating. “Not only did you break up with Lavender Brown last week, but now she’s at it again with another girl?”
“I -, what?” Ron managed, scared of where the conversation was headed. But yet surprised that Lavender was already back with another significant other.
“Yeah I just saw her snog one of the Patil twins,” Hermione replied, raising an eyebrow.
“Is there a problem with that?” Harry asked, chiming in.
“Yes!” Hermione nearly shouted but quieted down. “It seems so WRONG to me.”
Harry and Ron looked at each other thinking that Hermione was only expressing her opinion, but nope. She was just grossed out by the fact that there could be girl x girl and POSSIBLY boy x boy.
“What’s the word they use to describe girl x girl?” Ron asked carefully, hoping he wouldn't pull the trigger on Hermione. Hermione is scary even without her wand.
“It’s called being Lesbian,” Hermione replied with a scoff. “Not the best romantic thing any girl should experience.”
“I’m honestly fine with having Lavender love someone else other than me,” Ron replied, shrugging he then got a glare from Hermione and he flinched.
“It’s disgusting,” Hermione said simply, crossing her arms.
“I doubt it,” Harry commented.
“You dorks are useless! I’m going to the library and NOW,” Hermione grumbled in annoyance, standing up and leaving the boys alone.
Ron and Harry waited until they could no longer hear Hermione’s footsteps, and Harry was the first to break the silence. “What’s up with her?” he asked, frowning.
“She’s probably one of those what you call? Homophobic,” Ron said, getting the right muggle term this time.
“Aye,” Harry agreed. “She might be one of those.”
“Maybe it’s best not to tell her that after Lavender and I broke up I also found a new partner,” Ron muttered.
“She’s going to have another heart attack that’s for sure,” Harry scoffed, rolling his eyes. “I’ve got your back though mate.”
“Thanks,” Ron replied, nodding.
“That’s our brother for ya!” a cheery voice almost too loud came in. It was one of the twins, George to be exact, coming in with their best friend, Lee Jordan.
“A little too loud?” Ron asked him, raising an eyebrow.
“Sorry mate, just needed to get your approval!” Fred laughed ruffling his younger brother’s hair, to which Ron batted his hand away in protest.
“Wait what?” Harry said, catching the “approval” part. The twins looked at each other, before glancing at Lee, who began sweating a bit, but chuckled slightly and replied with, “I’ve been dating George.”
The two gaped at Lee. Lee? Dating George? Since when? And most importantly - HOW COME THEY NEVER HEARD OF THIS?!
