Chapter 2
Lee:
After Lee told them that he was dating George Weasley, Ron’s older brother, Ron and Harry asked him so many questions. Like, “When did you start dating him?” Lee replied, “Since the end of our third year.”
Harry asked, “How long has this relationship been going on?” Again, Lee replied, “Since the end of our 3rd year?”
“Have you snogged?” Ron asked out of the blue, which made Lee blush like a tomato. He wasn’t used to these types of questions. “Um. . . no -”
“Yes.” He was cut off by George, who had some kind of crazy smile. Of course, Lee was never used to that smile, so he backed away a bit, hiding behind George’s twin brother, Fred Weasley, who chuckled.
“He’s still not used to it, mate,” Fred snickered, elbowing his brother.
“Ah poo. Sorry, Lee,” George said, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.
“All good,” Lee replied, nodding understandingly, recovering from the blush.
“Well, what does Percy think of this?” Ron suddenly asked, thinking about their older brother, who was the Gryffindor Prefect. He’s always uptight and everything, but he does have his fair share of secrets.
“I’m pretty sure he’s fine with that.” Fred shrugged in response. “Not too long ago, I saw him sleeping on Wood’s shoulder in their dorm after a bit of last-minute work.”
“He’s gay too?” Harry asked in disbelief. “Damn. And Wood of all people - they’re complete opposites of each other.”
“I guess it works out for them anyways,” Lee chimed in, sitting down on the Common Room’s couch, and the twins joined him.
“Aye. Not many relationships work well with opposites,” George agreed, nodding. “And they were roommates. For 6 years already. It’s hard not to fall in love with a roommate, that's for sure.”
“And they were roommates,” Harry repeated, snickering.
“Who knew our perfect prefect Percy was in love with his roommate,” Ron added, though he was still processing this new information about his older brother.
“We knew,” the twins said.
“Of course -”
“It’s -”
“Nothing -”
“New -”
“We sorta -”
“Knew it was -”
“Coming -” the twins said, finishing each other’s sentences.
“You two are going to be the death of me someday,” Lee groaned, but he leaned against George’s shoulder, and George wrapped a protective arm around his boyfriend and kissed him on top of his forehead.
“You’re stuck with me until then,” George joked, then looked at Ron and Harry. “How are you doing with your partners?”
“Well, you know me - already broken up with Lavender,” Ron replied, shrugging. “But we’re still good friends, nevertheless.”
“He’s been hanging out with another bloke now - a Slytherin bloke too,” Harry added, wiggling his eyebrows at Ron, which made Ron blush but which had the twins' eyes grow huge.
“Which Slytherin bloke is it?” Fred asked, looking ready to fight.
“Yeah, who is it? Is it Malfoy?” George asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Malfoy is Harry’s Slytherin bloke,” Ron said defensively, raising his arms. “I’ve got Zabini.”
“You’ve got Zabini?” the twins plus Lee asked at the same time.
Ron nodded slowly and was scared of how this conversation would go.
“That’s the quiet Slytherin lad, right?” Lee asked. “The one who plays Chaser for the Slytherin Team?”
“Aye, you’re right, Lee,” George said, nodding. “He’s quiet. He doesn’t cause as much trouble as Malfoy - no offence, Harry.”
“None taken,” Harry replied. “You’re lucky he’s not here right now - not that he could be here anyway.”
“Hermione’s going to have a heart attack once she finds out about all of this,” Lee reminded them.
“About time you mentioned her,” Ron said, rolling his eyes slightly. “Honestly, she flipped out about the whole Lavender and Parvati thing.”
“How could she not? She’s the most straight person here,” George said, which earned him being elbowed by his boyfriend. “Ouch,” he said dramatically and rubbed his elbow. “You know it’s the truth, Lee.”
“I just hope she just accepts the fact that we’re going to gay no matter what,” Lee replied, who now sat up straight but still had George’s arm around him.
“Well, we’ll never know,” Ron mumbled.
“It’ll take time. Give her time to accept it,” Lee said, twirling one of his dreadlocks, having a bored look on his face.
“As if she’s ever going to at this rate,” Harry grumbled, flopping on the couch.
“I second that,” Ron agreed.
“You two are ignorant,” Fred observed, getting a few laughs from George and Lee.
Ron gasped dramatically. “How dare you?!” he said, sounding fake hurt.
“I dare you,” Fred said smugly.
"Fuck you!" Ron said, throwing a pillow at him.
