Lavina Never did have much luck
Lavina never did have much luck. Her first life she caught the attention of a Mafia Don who decided he was in love with her. She had his child but she knew she was dying and that he wasn’t a good man.
She had hoped he would care for their child, the son he took from her but, even as she died, she knew he probably wouldn’t… And she could do nothing.
She is reborn… but to a wealthy family with EXPECTATIONS… and the next thing she knows, she’s been sold into a marriage to an aspiring ‘Hero’ so he can breed his perfect child.
Her new name, ‘Rei’, suits her too well. She’s a ghost in her own skin.
No one CARES that her piano skills have followed her.
No, it’s her Ice Quirk and her family name that’s valued/ important.
Perhaps… perhaps this time she’ll fake her death before he can be her death.
Lying beside him at night… she can barely stand it.
She KNOWS he’s going to hurt their children… But what can she do?
Her husband is too high up in the power structure. If he wanted her to vanish she would.
She’s not a fighter. She’s always been a passive person. She hadn’t even fought for her first child. Music has always been the center of her life. All else had been secondary and she’d paid for that, heavily.
She wants to love her children. To cherish them but they are also THAT man’s children and she can’t… she can’t… she CAN’T.
All she can give them is music. Touya, her poor boy, he has her hands and her love of it.
All she could do is coax it.
She hates seeing the injuries on him grow along with the bandages.
She needs to get him OUT but the pregnancies drain her. She’s barely got energy to do ANYTHING let alone help her children but… it keeps that man away from her.
She needs an edge, something, anything. Her ‘family’ will be of no help and the Commission has already proved useless… where else can she turn but the underworld.
She turns instead, to the Principal of U.A. If he can’t or won’t help, she’ll trade whatever she needs to, venture as deep as she needs to get her children out.
She doesn’t have to go that far.
Nedzu, already annoyed at the Commission and angry at his once student, is willing to intervene. Touya, her precious boy, is sent to the Commission when their youngest is born with perfectly split hair.
They will need to move soon. She’s NOT having it. Not her little piano protege.
Nedzu is able to slip her a little something and her husband slides into a temporary coma, while she and her children (including Touya whom she begged to be allowed home) fled to U.A. and sought sanctuary there.
Her boy wants to have the music career she never had and… she wants that for herself too.
She happily takes on the role of Music Coach for those who want to learn. She’s not a pro Hero. She can’t be an official teacher, but a Music Coach for those who want to learn, that she can do and happily. Touya acts as her assistant.
