Cousins and changes
Nana (her current user name) was raised as a child soldier in a Mafia Famiglia.
Specifically, an assassin.
When she heard she was being sent after someone in Namimori, she jumped at the chance.
Despite the fact it was a suicide mission, it was her chance to be free.
No one would care or come looking if she vanished in Namimori. It happened to Assassins all the time.
Instead, on arrival, she went and reported to the Hibair’s begging for sanctuary.
She didn’t WANT to be an assassin anymore.
In fact, she’d never wanted to be one in the first place.
As long as she was willing to live peacefully and do civilian work, she was allowed.
Nana couldn’t be happier.
And then she caught the attention of a Sky.
A bad one but strangely, he wasn’t hard to fool.
Put on an oblivious, airhead persona and he didn’t bother to look further.
Maybe because it was a sanctuary town and no one here was interested in stirring trouble?
Anyway, he was sort of an idiot but he made her laugh.
She hadn’t particularly wanted marriage but she could deal. He gave her another level of protection and security. The sex when he stopped by was good too.
So she settled in happily as a housewife to raise her child while her husband was frequently away. He still supported her financially so that was fine.
When Tsuna was about five ish, she received a message from a cousin she never knew existed. They found each other through a family history tracing website.
Inko was also an orphan who wanted to know about her family, had a distant (now divorced) husband and was raising her son, little Tsuna's age roughly, alone.
It was truly strange how their lives mirrored each other.
AND then her cousin was inviting her to VISIT!
Excited, she changed her look, collected her boy and took a trip to Musutafu.
Inko is just as excited to meet her. She has always wanted more family.
Her son, Izuku is six now and not treated well due to being Quirkless.
It’s decided that Izuku will come and stay in Namimori for a bit since there a very few Quirked individuals there for some reason. Nearly the entire small city is officially Quirkless.
Meantime, the two shy boys get on well together and Izuku excitedly shares his passion for both Heroes and analysis. Tsuna is amazed. Izuku is SO smart!
Tsuna wishes he was that smart. He’s super sensitive and clumsy.
Izuku is kind of clumsy too but he just wants to help people, even if he doesn’t have a Quirk.
He and Tsuna start making plans to help him become a Hero anyway.
Izuku has never been happier and Inko notices.
Tsuna is becoming more lively and engaged too. She hadn’t realized how badly he was bullied in Namimori.
She and Inko start trading significant glances. Maybe they could swap children for a bit. Or the boys could stay over for a few months and see how they handled things in either town. A fresh start might be better for all.
Anyway, they'd work it out.
Then Nana gets word her husband is returning with his boss in tow so she has to hurry back.
Hisashi, the guy Inko is dating, is a low-level Pro Hero and happy enough that way.
He’s managed to get tickets to a Hero Con event and Izuku invited Tsuna to go with him since Kacchan doesn’t like him anymore.
Tsuna doesn’t yell at him or hurt him. And his intuition is scarily accurate.
Anyway, Izuku asked if Tsuna could stay just a few days longer to go to the Con with him and Nana happily agreed. The boys get on so well! She’s not seen her sweet boy so happy in ages. Inko was happy to host him as she hasn’t seen Izuku this upbeat since that trip to the doctors.
Nana makes it home barely in time to get things tidied up and some food cooked.
He was hoping to show his Boss his Heir but he didn’t let Nana know beforehand so Tsuna is still out with his cousin in Musutafu.
She was getting to know her recently rediscovered cousin as well since she was stolen from her family and dumped in an orphanage as a tot.
They can only stay for a few days but Tsuna rings every day, telling her all about the things he’s done and what he’s seen.
Iemitsu isn’t happy but he’s never said a thing about what she should or shouldn’t do so he has no cause to complain now.
They leave without seeing the boy in person.
At the Con, Izuku and Tsuna meet the youngest child of Endeavor and Tsuna, with his eyes glowing orange, tells the man off saying that if he isn’t careful, he’s going to push ‘shouto kun’ into following his mother or his brother because what he’s doing to the other isn’t training. It’s TORTURE. Abuse. That’s NOT how to get the best out of a person. All he’s going to do is make his children loathe him.
The third possibility is Shouto kun choosing simply to end it all so he’s going to want to be much more careful in how he treats his youngest child.
Izuku pipes up carefully by saying Tsuna has never been wrong yet so Endeavor san needs to be very, very careful…
They go home happily with Hisashi (aka Salamander) shortly after Izuku helping Tsuna start his Merch collection and pick some favourite Heroes.
(He likes the Iida family. They all have such cool Quirks and they look like mecha and that’s just so, SO cool! They’re not snotty about who they help either. They treat everyone the same and it’s awesome! Tsuna really, really wants to be a giant robot but he’d happily settle for being a mecha like them as second best)
Izuku thinks they should maybe learn about tech stuff so they can build their OWN giant robot to maybe fly around in.
Tsuna likes that idea and starts looking for things he could do to learn how or find people who could help.
Meantime, ‘Shouto’ (not actually her name… yet) female in body but it doesn’t feel right, is looking for the two boys who have put such a look on their father’s face. He’s canceled training for two nights now too. They want to find them and thank them maybe.

Pick up to strays from the rubble. An eleven ish old with really bad burns and a sixteen-odd-year-old with a really foul mouth, dark hair, a terrible temper and red eyes. He can’t remember his name or where he’s from. He goes with Inko san. The other is with Nana.
A third boy was picked up by the first responding Hero, All Might, who is happy to be reunited with his beloved mentor’s grandson. The boy also has no memory of anything that happened after he turned five. Physically, he’s also sixteen.
All Might has NO idea what caused a lad he'd given up for dead to be here but he's so, so greatful...
