His memories start kicking in at four ish and black haired, green eyed little boy who had once been a Hero and as green as his once name is NOT impressed about the circumstances he now finds himself in.
At least before, he had his mum.
These Dursleys are bigots of the worst kind and once again he’s not ALLOWED to show his intelligence. Screw this!
He doesn’t know what he has, but it isn’t a Quirk.
Quirks don’t seem to exist here.
He has SOMETHING though. Something that’s doing it’s best to mimic his acquired once Quirk. He doesn’t even know his NAME. It’s ‘boy’ or ‘freak’. Just lovely.
Izuku doesn’t fountain at the eyes so easily now but he does know how to fight and it’s not hard to outsmart Dudley or even his parents.
They are so bigoted and narrow minded that it’s easy enough to slide things past them.
The mindset of EVERYTHING unusual being hidden is hard though, especially coming from a society where everyone shows off their Quirks.
Once he’s gotten of the shock and taken stock of his situation he’s seeing a rather disturbing trend. A lifetime of analysis has him looking very hard at this entire set up!
He’s… being groomed for something.
It isn’t hard to get out of his cupboard at night and eat what he needs… he’s absolutely HANGING to have some Katsudon though. All this heavy English food makes his skin crawl.
-
When he’s seven, he asks his aunt to sit down as they need to have a talk.
She obviously doesn’t want him here and it’s not money that has her keeping him around so… is she being threatened into it?
His aunt, full of bitterness and vitriol pulls the letter out and shoves it at him!
Supposedly, his being here grants them both protection but they wouldn’t NEED it if not for he and his mother! Unnatural FREAKS both of them!
So… why stay? Why play that person’s game? This was going to be their starter house right?
Deny any family bond to Harry and move away. Set it up through Vernon’s work if they’re worried about it being traced. You don’t want him here and he doesn’t want to be here.
Or set it up through Aunt Marge. He doubts anyone would be keeping track of that woman (or want to really)
Rather than sell it off, which might set up red flags, rent this property out.
Petunia, looking thoughtful, has a word with Vernon.
They’ll need to take out a loan but it’s do able.

At the end of the year, the Dursleys relocate.
Rather than get rid of ‘Harry’ completely though, they send him off to a boarding school so they don’t have to look at him.
He couchsurfs the rest of the time having made some connections in the school putting the PR training he remembers from the Hero Course into practice.
He isn’t quite the sunshine child he once was but it isn’t hard to channel that and he does still genuinely want to help.
Studying and study programs, helping them figure out their weak points and ways to bring them up, so on and so forth. It isn’t as much fun as analysing Quirks but he’ll take what he can get.
The internet is just starting to become a thing and it’s so EASY for Harzuku to dabble in stocks. He has his own portfolio that’s doing nicely by the time he’s eleven and living off that except for the school fees.
His grades are excellent… which is more than can be said of Dudley.
--
The Letter at eleven was a bit bemusing, especially as he had no fixed address right now.
It took a particularly intelligent mail owl to disregard the address and hunt up the addressee but Harzuku got his letter… and put his analysis skills (along with a request for more information before he accepts anything) to use.
The man who arrived at the meeting point was dour and appeared greasy haired but Izuku had done his Hero Schooling under Eraserhead. He learned to see past an unkempt appearance.
Izuku is respectful but has SO many questions.
His relatives? Oh, they dumped him in a boarding school early on. Hasn’t seen ‘em since he was seven odd.
He couchsurfs between school years, trading tutoring and analysis for the space. He’s just learned how to present himself well at school.
Severus Snape is shocked.
Harry had been placed with Petunia?! What in Merlin’s name was Dumbledore THINKING! Still, it doesn’t shock him that Petunia ditched Harry early on.
What does shock him is that she managed to do it at all. Surely Dumbledore would have taken steps to ensure that she could not… then again, Dumbledore was always one to think the best of people, especially family.
Despite the bad blood between them, it wouldn’t have occurred to him that Petunia would dump the brat if she could.
This was no pampered little princling. This was a cunning snake who had used his skills to get by… much the way Severus had.
Severus hates to admit it but he has a bit of fellow feeling with the boy.
He takes the boy to Gringotts and there Harzuku discovers that he has several mildly illegal Wards on his person, along with the residue of a failed Horcrux linked to his scar.
Snape is quite shocked to learn that Harry is a reincarnate… which is the only reason he survived. The ‘Harry’ part of himself has been burnt out leaving the old ‘Izuku’ part remaining.
That gives him a pang. Nothing of his beloved Lily left. Still, it enables him to separate this boy in his mind from Potter. It helps that his hair has red highlights and is worn slightly longer and pulled back in a short tail to tame it. He acts nothing like Potter did.
Several schools have offered for the young Potter Heir.
None are as prestigious as Hogwarts but Hogwarts has been slipping lately when it comes to classes. The bias and bigotry is rampant.
Besides, the Headmaster has ‘plans’ for him.
Severus, doubly oath bound, can only do so much.
First thing Harzuku does is ask for an audit on all the accounts he’s linked to.
Second, he gets his name trademarked. People have been making money off it for years. It’s about time they gave it back to him. As he doesn’t have access to his accounts, he needs to make a living somehow.
Third, Harzuku wants to know if there’s a way to separate the ‘boy who lived’ title from Harry Potter’s name. Harzuku doesn’t mind going as the Potter Heir as that’s what he is but he doesn’t want a title he hasn’t earned and that isn’t really him anyway.
There is, but it’s expensive.
Harry would like a general health check as well.
The Dursleys haven’t taken him to the hospital… ever. He has no doubt there’s any number of immunization equivalents he needs.
His eyes are giving him a bit of trouble too though his Magic compensates.
Also, he would like to hire a team or two to seek out these ‘horcrux’ his supposed prophesy partner (He has his doubts on that) has created. If one failed on Harzuku, then there may well be others. Those things are abominations… and don’t seem to work that well anyway.
They do taint the items they’re in though. What a waste.
Harzuku also wants to continue his muggle schooling. The internet is a massive resource and one he doesn’t want to ignore.
He wants to keep his options open.
