Chapter 7
Harry woke up the next morning dressed in Quidditch robes and went down to the common room, found Theo and they went to the great hall together.
"Good morning Daphne, Tracey" I said starting to eat.
"Good morning Harry, today you are playing against Hufflepuff" Daphne said.
"Yes we play and we will win" i said.
"So confident Potter," said a voice behind them.
Without turning I said "Of course and I'm sure Flint, with me in the team there is no word defeat"
I heard Flint laughing and i turned to look at him "You're right Potter with you we're not going to lose, eat well Potter we are going to rip them off" Flint said and turned to leave.
"With you in the team there is no word defeat eh?" Daphne laughed.
"Shut up" I murmured.
"And the match begins, Flint throws the quaffle to Potter and Potter scores 10-0 for Slytherin, "said Lee Jordan "Montague takes the quaffle but Angelina takes it from him and gives it to Katie Bell who shoot but Bletchley save it."
The match continues for another hour until Malfoy caught the snitch "Malfoy catch the snitch 260-80 with Slytherin win."
The next day Slytherin's mood was elevated with the second consecutive victory.
"I told you Flint with me in the team there is no word defeat" I said as I passed Flint in the great hall for breakfast making him laugh.
I said good morning and gave a kiss to Daphne and Tracy, making Daphne look at me and Tracey laughing and then going to sit next to Theo.
"I do not have a kiss?" said Theo, pretending to be upset.
I grabbed him by the face and gave him a kiss with shawls making him wipe his cheek disgusted and the girls laughing.
"That's was disguesting Potter" Teo said.
"You asked it" i said with a smile.
"We have to go to class, we have potions and you are not late for the potion" said Daphne.
The rest of the day went smoothly, in the afternoon I took Hades for exploring the castle and for a cigarette in the Astronomy tower.
In the afternoon he went out in the yard with Theo.
I took out a cigarette and lit it, Theo looked at me strangely "It's a cigarette, something muggle" I said.
"I know what it is, some magicians smoke pipes and I have seen muggleborns smoke this, from what I know it is bad for health" said Teo and looked at the cigarette in my hand strangely.
"What is life without a little enjoyment? Do you want to try it?" I said and gave him my cigarette.
Teo took it and carefully put it in his mouth, took a puff and immediately started coughing. "This thing is disgusting, how do you smoke it" he said, continuing to cough.
"I smoked even worse things Teo, we smoked papers when we ran out of cigarettes and weed when we had money" i said and i take a puff.
"You're mad" Theo said.
"Madness and genius are the same thing" I said with a smile.
"No it is not," said Theo.
"Yes it is," I said.
"No, it's not the same" Theo said again.
"Ok Theo whatever" i said.
Theo smiled "So are you going to the duel club?" Theo asked.
"Duel club?" I asked confused 'was there a duel club?'
"Yes, the duel club that Lockhart will do" Theo said.
"Lockhart? And you want me to go? To learn from Lockhart what? How to fix my hair or to pose? No thank you, I had enough of him in class."
Teo laughed "Well, it's going to have fun, maybe one of your spells will hit him."
"Yes, maybe one of my spell hit him, maybe a jinx that will make his hair red or maybe better without hair at all" I said smiling, imagining Lockhart without hair.
Teo laughed "So you will come?" he asked.
"When?" I asked and i lit an another cigarette.
"Tomorrow" Teo said.
"Okay, let's meet in the common room tomorrow to go together" i said.
The next day we went to the great hall with Teo where all the tables were gone.
"Come closer, come closer, do you all see and hear me?" Without waiting for an answer he continued "let me introduce you to my assistant Professor Snape" he said and showed Snape who had curled his lips.
"We will show you a duel against Professor Snape, do not be afraid it will be fine" he said and they entered in a duel position. "I will count to 3, 1,2,3!"
"Expelliarmus" said Snape, and a red light hit Lockhart, sending him off the stage.
"It was worth coming just to see Lockhart beaten" I told Theo.
"I told you" Theo said.
Lockhart got up and went back on stage "Nice spell to show them Snape but it's time to practice, we'll make teams."
They made teams and they put me with a 2 year Ravenclaw.
Within 10 minutes I had disarmed him 2 times and now he has pink hair and he was laughing. I also cast a spell on Lockhart which made his hair an intense orange like Weasley making many people laugh.
There was chaos in the room, Lockhart shouted to be quiet "A couple of volunteers please ...... Longbottom and Weasley" he said.
"I do not think it's a good idea," Snape said. "What about Longbottom and Malfoy?" He suggest.
"Great idea," Lockhart said with a smile.
Longbottom took the stage and Lockhart started showing him some moves.
Longbottom and Malfoy went ahead. "I will count to 3, 1, 2" And Malfoy said "Serpensoertian" and out of his wand came a serpent.
Longbottom looked at him in horror.
"Don't worry Longbottom, I'll get rid of it," Snape said.
"Leave me, Professor Snape," Lockhart said, pointing his wand at the snake, casting a spell, causing the snake to jump into the air and land in front of Finch Fletchley.
Longbottom shouted ~Stop~ and the snake stopped and looked at him. 'He is a parselmouth'.
Snape stepped forward, shook his wand, and the snake disappeared.
"What game are you playing?" Finch Fletchley asked Longbottom.
Weasley said something to Longbottom and they left.
"What he said?" Theo asked me when we were in the common room.
"Who?" I asked, raising my head from the essay on potions.
"Longbottom in the great hall when he speak to snake" Theo said.
"He said stop" i answer.
"Only that?" Theo asked.
"Yes only that, what else did you want to say?" I asked trying to write my essay.
"Everyone thinks he told the snake to attack him" Teo said.
"No, he just told him to stop" I said.
"The Longbottoms have no descendants of Slytherin in their line, I do not know how the Longbottoms acquired the ability" said Theo in throught.
"As far as I know, Potter is not a descendant of Slytherin either" I said.
"As far as we know it was not, but the Potters were a private family and they may have married someone of the line of Slytherin" Theo said.
"I do not know Theo now let me finish my essay" i said.
The following week continued with everyone except Slytherin believing that Longbottom is Slytherin's heir.
Harry had taken Hades and they explore the castle about the Hogwarts snakes that Hades had smelled when when they met Longbottom.
"Hi Potter, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"I could ask the same Longbottom" I said and i kept walking.
"So where are you going?" Longbottom asked.
"Mind your own business Longbottom" i said annoyed.
Longbottom didn't speaker more and kept walking beside me.
We walked until Longbottom stopped looking pale and frightened. I followed his gaze to see a Hufflepuff boy down who looks gray and had an expression of fear on his face and nearly headless Nick.
"Longbottom we have to leave now, it will not be good for either of us to be found at the crime scene for the second time" I said and i started pulling Longbottom by the sleeve but it was too late a door right next to them opened wide and Peeves came out.
He looked at them suspiciously "What are you doing? Why are you here ....." and saw Hufflepuff's boy and nearly headless Nick. He took a deep breath and screamed "Attack! Attack! And another attack! We are all in danger, ghosts and alive! Run to be saved! Attack!"
The doors opened and all the children came out. Professor Mcgonagall raised her wand and a loud bang was heard. She then ordered all the students to go to their dormitories. She turned to us and said "Longbottom, Potter with me", spoke to some older students and made sense for us to follow her.
I came across a large animal and Mcgonagall said "acid pops" and turned, revealing a staircase.
It made sense for them to go up the stairs and when they went up the stairs started to turn, climbing them higher and higher until a door was revealed. Mcgonagall knocked on the door that opened on its own and they entered. He told them to wait and left them alone.
"Do you think they will expel us? "Longbottom said as he looked at the red bird sitting on the perch.
"Do not be fooled Longbottom they can not expel us, they have no evidence of anything," I said quietly.
Suddenly the red bird caught fire and the door opened and Dumbledore entered.
"Sir" Longbottom started "your bird ...... I did not manage to do anything ..... he suddenly caught fire"
Dumbledore laughed "It was time, the last few days he was not good."
"Phoenix" I breathed in shock.
"Yes Harry, Fox is a phoenix, they are inflamed when it's time for them to die and are reborn from their ashes. Look ...."
They looked and saw that a small ugly head appeared from his ashes.
"It's ugly" I said and the bird screamed.
Dumbledore laughed.
Suddenly the office door opened and Hagrit came in "Headmaster, it wasn't Neville, we talked before the child was found, I will not see him be punished, I will speak out against the Ministry of Magic"
"I do not think Neville is behind these attacks," Dumbledore said loudly as he tried to stop Hagrit many times "I do not think Neville is behind these attacks."
"You don't think it's me sir?" Longbottom asked.
"No, Neville, I do not believe it, nor do I believe that Harry is behind them," Dumbledore said calmly. "But I want to talk to you."
"I want to ask you if you have something to tell me, anything" Dumbledore said kindly.
"No sir, nothing" I said quickly and Longbottom glanced at me.
"No sir" Longbottom finally said.
After the double attack, everyone except Slytherin believed that Longbottom was Slytherin heir and was behind the attacks.
"They captured this beast, my father told me that he was behind the attacks last time, they will expelled Dumbledore out of school" Malfoy said one night in the common room.
"Daddy's little boy thinks he knows everything" I mocked him.
He turned to me "What do you want Potter? Do you think you are better than me?" he asked but there was fear in his eyes.
"I do not think so, I'm better than you," I said, looking at my fingernails. 'Maybe I can paint them in the summer'.
"You will pay Potter my dad wi....." he stopped talking.
"What did you say Malfoi? I had an interesting job and I did not listen to you" I said indifferentlyindifferently.
Malfoy tried to speak but nothing was heard.
"That's what I thought" I said and left the common room with Theo.
Neville and Ron had just drank the polyjuice filter and switched to Crabbe and Goyle.
They started walking looking for the common room when they saw Percy.
"What are you doing here?" said Ron in surprise.
"This is not your job" Percy said. "Are you Crabbe right?"
"Oh...yes" said Ron.
"Go back to your dorm, it's dangerous for you out here," Percy said. "And for you," Ron said.
"I am a prefect, nothing can harm me."
Suddenly they heard a voice behind them. It was Malfoy.
"Are you here? I was looking for you for a long time" said Malfoy, looking at Percy with a sneer.
They went on until Malfoy stopped at a stone wall "What is the password?" He asked.
I looked at Ron shrugging.
"Yes, I remembered, pureblood" said Malfoy, and the wall opened.
He sat down "These Wesleys and Longbottom think they are better, Saint Longbottom" he sneered "How I wish I knew who Slytherin's heir was, to help him of course."
"But you surely would suspect who is behind all this" said Longbottom-Goyle.
"I have no idea, how many times do I have to tell you? And my father does not tell me anything," Malfoy said complacently. Malfoy went to say something else but there was a noise. Potter and Nott went downstairs talking.
They walked over and sat on a couch. Potter looked at Malfoy and smiled a frightened smile and Malfoy turned pale.
Before anything else could happen, Marcus Flint quidditch capten came and sat next to Potter.
"Well Harry in 2 weeks we're playing with Hufflepuff" Flint said.
"Yes, and let's hope that Malfoy can see the snitch, otherwise he can by mistake lose his hand and not be able to play quintess again, what a great loss that will be" I said looking at Malfoy who turned more pale and swallowed.
"What a pity" Flint said with a frightened smile.
"So Marcus, what are you doing now?" Potter asked as if nothing had happened.
"Nothing, are we playing a game?" Marcus asked.
"Theo?" said Potter, turning to Not.
"I don't have problem" he said and they leave.
I turned to Ron and saw that his hair had begun to change.
"We have to leave" Ron-Grabbe said.
"What happened to you?" Malfoy asked.
"Stomach ache" Ron-Crabbe said.
They left Slytherin's common room and went to the bathroom on the 3rd floor.
"Almost" said Ron, who had changed completely.
"Yeah, almost" Potter said, coming out of the shadows with Not and Flint.
"Potter....i...." Longbottom said.
"What happened to Longbottom? did the cat eat your language? I remember you could speak quite well in the common room with Malfoy." Potter said.
"What do you want snake?" Ron asked.
"I do not think so, I will not let anyone like you talk to me like that, I can go to Snape now and say what you did, I'm sure they will expelled you" Potter said with a smile.
"What do you want, Potter?" asked Neville.
"Not much, I want you to give me the rest of the polyjuice you have left" Potter said.
"What would you do with it?" Ron asked suspiciously. "This is my job, now either you will give it to me nicely and well or we will have a problem."
"You can take it" Neville said.
"Nice" Potter and Not and Flint went to the cauldron and took the rest of the filter. "I was happy for the cooperation, your secret is safe" he said with a wink and left the bathroom.
