The McClain family were some of the most ordinary people out there, thank you very much. Sure they were a large family with different fathers per child but other than that they were pretty regular people. That's what they like to say about themselves anyways. There’s Luis McClain who works a regular, normal, boring, office job while his wife Lisa stays at home watching their two sweetheart children Sylvio and Nadia. There’s also Marco McClain who is currently in college and part-times as a waiter to pay for school like any ordinary student would. And lastly, there’s Rachel McClain, an ordinary girl turning eleven this summer living with her eldest brother along with his wife and their kids.
Of course, the young girl didn’t always live with her brother’s family. Although, it did feel like it to her. When she was younger she lived with her mother and father as most children do. In fact, the rest of the Mcclains didn't even know about her or her younger brother (just by six minutes if you asked him) until they showed up at their door.
Oh, right, her brother, twin brother actually! Lance ‘weirdo’ McClain. (titled Weirdo by his older siblings.) He’s often forgotten or simply not mentioned as the Mcclains are obsessed with being normal, ordinary members of society. While oddity follows the youngest boy. In fact, he even has the most peculiar scar on his forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt!
Moving on, the twins had both showed up one day on the top step just outside of Luis’ door and he was practically forced to look after them since he was apparently Rachel's legal guardian since their grandparents were out of the picture at the time and Marco was still in highschool. So, out of the kindness of their hearts Luis and Lisa took in the twins and raised them as their own. Although, quickly after their first birthday with the McClains (their second all around) they had realized Lance was odd. Strange things seemed to happen around him so they quickly shunned him and favored Rachel as nothing of the same sort seemed to happen with her.
So again, really, the McClain's are a normal family full of plain, old, NORMAL people. With the exception of Lance, of course.
