Chapter 1
Juliette Lily Potter was born from love. Her parents adored each other, even after all they had gone through to get there. Both of her parents loved her with all they had and they were the perfect showcase parents. She had a little brother, Harry, who was a year younger than her.
Juliette was left an orphan when Lord Voldemort broke into their house to attempt to kill Harry. During that time, Juliette was caught in the crossfire, leaving a lightening bolt scar on the side of her face. Juliette was never the target and she didn't receive much of the blow. She vowed that she would protect her younger brother with all she had. Being a year older, Juliette ignored her Hogwarts letter and wrote to the headmaster to refuse to go unless Harry got a place a year later.
Juliette met Raelynn Lupin in her first (well Second year officially) year at Hogwarts. Juliette had gotten into a fight and ended up in the hospital wing in a bed next to Raelynn.
Raelynn Hope Lupin's parents did not love each other. Raelynn's mother didn't care about her, due to the fact she was a werewolf. She was the result of a one night stand gone wrong and was abandoned to her father. Yet, he tried to give her the best life he could.
Raelynn shouldn't have been a werewolf, not down to genetics anyway. It shouldn't be possible. Her 'mother' called it a curse on humanity. Then again, Raelynn considered Elizabeth to be just that. Finding out that she had a half-brother nearly made Raelynn throw up when she found out, along with the fact his father was a Selwyn.
Raelynn's brother Miles Selwyn was okay but he didn't really speak to Raelynn at all, despite them being in the same house. Michael, however, was the reason that Raelynn and Juliette met Skylar near the end of their second year.
Skylar Ruelle Black's parents didn't intend to get together. A crush and annoying smirk turned into love: that turned into a dangerous relationship with a child. A Death Eater and Order member didn't quite go together. Skylar's mother disappeared three days after Skylar was born.
Skylar didn't really have a forever place in terms of living. Narcissa Malfoy and Andromeda Tonks had argued over her for years; They were both her legal guardians (Narcissa appointed by Skylar's mother and Andromeda by her father). Skylar didn't mind; she got two Christmas, two sets of parents and two siblings.
Narcissa made sure that Skylar and while Lucius tried to shape her into believing the pure-blood way, Ted and Andromeda always stopped it from going to far. It just ended with Skylar being very self-confident and slightly cocky on-top of her anger issues she had since birth. It was her anger that caused her to nearly suffocate by Devil's snare before Paige Pettigrew came to her rescue.
Finally, Paige Marie Pettigrew was the result of a summer fling but her parents ended up staying together once they found out that they were having a baby together. Things were working out between them.
Paige never knew her father and her mother spoke little off him. She didn't really care since he had never been around to start with. It just bothered her that there were only photos of Paige with her mother as a baby, even though she knew he was around until she was two. Where was he during all of her first moments?
The group were like a jigsaw puzzle. Each piece had their own picture that varied in all sorts of ways; Juliette was protective, sporty and bold but sometimes rash; Raelynn was witty, intelligent and sarcastic but sometimes harsh with words ; Skylar was confident, ambitious and humorous but sometimes selfish; Paige was kind, thoughtful and helpful but sometimes she was too selfless.
They were all born on the same day, the same hour, the same minute. Whether you believe in fate or you believe in scientific anomalies, the group were something no one would ever be able to understand.
One thing was certain, they all needed each other.
