Meanwhile in Mondstadt, Jean is trying to deal with the fact that, yk, a buncha dudes just showed up out of nowhere while one of her employees was goofing off in some cave somewhere doing god knows what. She held her head in her hands and sighed very dramatically and made sure to look as stressed as possible, both to convey the fact that she had no desire to interfere with any of klee's bullshit, and the fact that she somehow thought that if she looked stressed enough, the portal and everyone that came out of it would surely understand her pain and leave.
Well that was really fucking stupid because that's not how it works. and she probably wouldn't do that,but who gives a shit i haven't played genshin in ages.
Anyway, a knight guy shows up in denim's office to share some unfortunate news

The knight guy hands jorts a piece of scrap paper with some names in the worst handwriting known to man. acid wash jeans held the paper up to her face and put on some glasses that she got when the knights of favavavana caught the condesce trying to do condesce things. so they just took her glasses and ran and thats it.

This is a very bad thing as random ass people from everywhere will just be walking around and end up in a completely other world, and if they try to walk through the portal again, more often then not they'll end up somewhere completely different. That, and the fact that everyone has the sense of direction of a pigeon with dementia inside an apple store and nobody knows where the fuck they're going which makes the idea of karkat driving the magic school bus a whole lot worse.
