What it meant to love him

James Potter goes and gets himself killed, leaving a boy-shaped mess and a trail of broken hearts in his wake.  Or, five people who wish they could talk to James one last time and the one who actually does.

This is an exploration of James Potter’s relationships and death from the eyes of six different characters. It’s an idea that emerged in my brain at 3am a few weeks ago and hasn’t let go of me since. I also had no idea how to format it so I ended up splitting it into 6 tiny chapters- although I might edit that in the future. Please read the tags and warnings.
