“Please, do enlighten me on what your plan is?” Blaise snickered across the dormitory.
Draco rolled his eyes, “It’s really simple, really. I’m going to pretend to be Theo pretending to be me with Polyjuice Potion. If she gets weirded out, I’ll just transform into Theo using this,” he shook the small vial of Polyjuice Potion with Theo’s hair in it, “and say that I was only pretending to be me to show my Potions skills. If she’s not weirded out, then we don’t need it, I suppose.”
Theo and Blaise blinked simultaneously. “Yeah, I still don’t fully understand it either,” Theo shrugged at Blaise.

At five to ten, Draco climbed out of the Slytherin common room to head across the hall to the Potions lab. Pushing the heavy door open, he let his eyes adjust to the dimness before setting up at his usual table. He lugged over a heavy cauldron and arranged the ingredients across the table in front of him.
Not much later, he saw a familiar brunette mop opening the door. She grimaced when she noticed who was sat at the table. Draco frowned internally at the girl’s reaction. “This room’s taken,” Hermione announced boldly.
“By me, it seems,” Draco quipped.
Hermione bit the inside of her lip, “I’m supposed to meet someone here.”
He feigned his best Theo impression. “You’re meeting me. It’s me- Theo,” Draco paused to laugh, “I’m just showing you how good my Polyjuice skills are.”
“Oh!” Hermione gasped, “You’re really good! It’s so realistic. It’s as if you’re actually him!”
Draco (Theo (Draco)) chuckled, “I’m good at Potions, but Draco is the best, so I figured I could go above channeling his energy by actually becoming him! If it makes you more comfortable though, I can switch back to being myself.” He dug out the Theo Polyjuice Potion from his robe pocket.
She contemplated for a moment and giggled, “That might be for the best. I’m not sure how long I could go without wanting to punch Draco.” Turning around to give him some privacy, she thought she noticed the briefest twinge of sadness in Theo/Draco’s eyes, but it was gone in a millisecond. Draco raised the vial to his lips and shuddered as the foul liquid flowed down his throat. He twitched and groaned as his features morphed into Theo’s, and his limbs elongated to accommodate Theo’s height over Draco.
Before they knew it, almost two hours had passed, and not only had they brewed a very successful Draught of Peace, they had also gotten to know each other on a deeper level. They told each other things that no one else knew about them, Draco/Theo slightly adjusting his facts to make them applicable to both boys. That way, Draco wouldn’t be completely lying to Hermione.
As it was nearing midnight, Hermione yawned and stretched her arms up. “I see the Draught is working,” Draco/Theo chuckled.
She replied sleepily, “I suppose so. I think I should head to bed.”
“Me too,” Draco/Theo smiled, pulling the girl into a hug. It was a weird feeling, for both of them, to be hugging and falling for someone they should hate, and it definitely would have been a weird sight if anyone were to see them.
Hermione headed to the door, but before she left, she turned around and smiled, “I’ll see you around, Starboy.”

Dearest Bookworm,
I loved spending time with you last night, even if I did put you to sleep.
I am looking forward to another date with you, hopefully at a more convenient time.
Love,
Starboy

“Hermione, I really hate to be the one to say this, but you can’t use Polyjuice Potion to turn into yourself,” Ginny looked up quizzically after her friend had explained the events of her date.
Hermione blinked, “W- What?”
The red-head’s hair bounced as she nodded.
“So Starboy is Draco?” Hermione questioned slowly.
“Or Draco is just better than Theo at Potions, and Theo wanted to impress you?” Ginny replied questionably.
Hermione groaned into her hands, “This is all so confusing.”
