Cool wash cloth (alt 2)
Leslie had been asleep pretty much all day. It was flu season in Pawnee once again, and it hit Leslie, hard. Ben swore he had never seen her as wiped out as she was at the moment.
It was currently 12:30pm on a Thursday, and she was passed out in their bed, while Ben typed away on his laptop next to her. After waking up this morning burning up clearly unable to go to work, Ben managed to coax her back to bed and took the day off to stay with her.
He was in his own world until Leslie groaned, and began to stir.
Ben looked down at her and began stroking her hair.
“Hey babe, how are you?”
Leslie groaned. “Shivery and sweaty,”
Ben stopped stroking her hair and placed a hand to her forehead. “You feel warmer than earlier, we need to get your fever down,”
“Okay,” she said in a raspy voice.
“I’m gonna get you a cool wash cloth, okay?”
Leslie nodded into her pillow.
Ben returned a few minutes later with a cool wash cloth, and a bowl of water in his hands, walking over to her and placing it on her forehead.
“That good?” He asked.
Leslie hummed in agreement.
“What else can I get for you? Are you hungry?”
Leslie shook her head.
“What can I do for you love?”
“Come cuddle me?”
Ben smiled. “Of course.”
He probably already caught whatever nasty bug she has anyways.
