Back under the sun
As a child, he was passionate about the beach.
Until he began to feel self-conscious about the scars that covered his entire body, at which point he stopped taking off his T-shirt and started building sandcastles. At seven, he decided to go under the umbrella with a book and, last vacation, he refused to go to the beach.
Now, however, he was at a crossroads. He wanted to stay on the terrace of the house, with a book on his lap, reading while watching his friends bathing in the serene waters in the distance.
Nothing was happening as he wished.
So, he sat down on the hard sand. He brought his only swimsuit and a dark oversized t-shirt. From his backpack he brought one of his many books.
Mrs. Weasley had brought her children, of which there were three. The older two were running around in the water, with Molly yelling every five minutes for them not to go any deeper. The youngest was crying all the time, interrupting Lupin's concentration.
“Come on, Lupin, get in the water!” Mary shouted, diving in. She was wearing a full bathing suit, a yellow color that stood out sublimely against her tanned skin.
“It's fresh.”
“You're missing out, you lunatic!” James added this time, getting out of the water only to find some water glasses. Lupin rolled his eyes “Sirius, you're up!”
Lupin saw Sirius just joining in, stretched out his towel next to Remus', gestured to James and looked at Lupin behind his sunglasses, smirking.
“Are they because of the scars?”
He shrugged, trying to ignore Sirius, but the boy always managed to hog all his attention.
“Look at me.”
And he did.
He took off his Hawaiian shirt and could identify his back full of long white scars. She had seen them before, but never in the sunlight. Each fine line was well demarcated.
“Thanks to my 'tender' mother” Sirius muttered, dropping his misfolded shirt into his bag, took off his glasses, and with a rubber band tied his hair into a small ponytail.
“I'm not going to force you, you know.” Sirius concluded.
He looked sexy and Lupin noticed the devouring eyes of the girls. They knew he was His boyfriend, and yet they still managed to make Lupin jealous.
Before Sirius left, he put his book aside, and also took off his shirt.
In quantity, Lupin had three times as many, and in quality, Sirius's came to be elegant; his were rough, running the length of his body, and the bite mark could be identified if you paid enough attention at the waist. Along with this, Remus was extremely thin, so much so that the abdominal muscle was marked, and it wasn't because he worked out. Sirius looked at him for a minute and waited for Mrs. Weasley to come to little Charlie's aid before giving him a quick kiss and whispering in his ear.
“Incredibly, sensual, and cool.” Lupin straightened up, feeling a shiver run up his spine. When he wasn't hunched over, he grew at least seven centimeters.
“I'm going to have to hide you from these loonies.”
They went into the water, and as soon as they were near James and Peter. They forced him underwater in its entirety.
The water, it wasn't so “fresh.”
