Chapter 1(GELLERT)

School was all a blur for Gellert Grindelwald; from acing all of his classes without trying to his experiments with his power along with his, childish and odd according to his father, obsession with the deathly hallows. All of it was a blur until his last day where everything went downhill, where his life turned for the worse for a short time.

It was around 6 pm, after dinner and Gellert was in a private room he had  managed to find and was caught up with his current project; finding the limits between a death like coma and actual death a drought of living death can handle. Having no after school work and only enough of a social life to charm people into not trying to invite him to do stuff gave him enough free time to be able to do his experiments and entertain himself.

A certain fling, one he had only used for his mouth, comes in. “What are you doing here Arune, I’m not interested in you anymore” he had also used this room for his more intimate proceedings that were not with girls, so he wouldn’t get walked in on. He was never in love with any of them and the only feeling he got was the physical pleasure they gave him.

Arune looks at him “you missed lunch, afternoon classes and dinner, the teachers are getting suspicious” he goes over “another project that’s against the rules?”

“Don’t touch that,” he summons the vile to him “and go away, you have no reason to be here. And if you come in here again it will not be enjoyable for you”

“Oh of course, you’re a true dark wizard. You only use people for your personal gain and don’t think about the feeling of those you use”

Gellert gets up and vanishes his project but for the one vile, setting it down to give to a plant or animal later “feelings are trivial and unnecessary, to let them get in your way makes you weak and unworthy of my attention. In addition you’re only infatuated with me because of my power, now leave before I throw you out myself” he says lowly

Arune laughs a bit “I really should’ve listened to the rumors about you, what are you working on anyway a potion” he grabs it quickly and drinks it

Gellert yanks the empty vile “you idiot, haven’t your parents ever taught you not to drink strange liquids!” He looks at the teen falls to the ground “megbasz*” he sets the vile away. And sits down waiting to see his reaction.

A couple days pass and Arune never woke up, the headmaster finds Grindelwald sitting over his body with a half empty vial of antidote and the other half obviously given to the other teen. “Now you’ve done it boy!” He grabs his arm and pulls him to the office and calls his father

After a couple minutes of yelling between them and a conclusion that it was best for everyone for him to be expelled he looks up “what would expelling me do, this is a school for the dark arts that’s precisely what I was practicing. He’s the one who drank a vial of a potion he had no Idea about while I was going to give it to a plant. I attempted to make an antidote but the idiot you foolishly accepted into this school drank the entire drought!”

His father slaps him “do not talk to your elders like that boy, this isn’t your decision. And don’t spew on about how you ‘didn’t mean for him to drink it’ how would he know where that room was if you didn’t invite him for that purpose!”

Gellert glares at him “oh I did tell him where it was but it wasn’t to be a test subject for my experiments, if I wanted humans I have a plethora of people I hate in this school I could use”

His father grabs his by his hair and drags him to the floo “I’m done with your disgraceful behavior, you’re staying with your aunt until I say you can come home”

He looks at the man he calls his father “I don’t have an aunt, are you getting senile old man?” He was thrown on the floor of the living room at the house.

“She’s your great aunt on your mothers side, and you will stay there and not come back until you learn respect and how to listen to what you’re told! You have ten minutes to pack your things” he gets a piece of paper

Gellert goes upstairs and throws his dresser down with a yell. He enchants a bag, feeling only a bit weaker without his wand and couldn’t enchant it to fit as much as he wanted. Mumbling to himself he packs all his journals, clothes and books.

When they arrived at the small house in Godric's Hollow he sneered at the homey feeling. And looks the old woman there up and down as she does the same. Forgetting his father was even there until he steps in the floo to leave

He turns around quickly “oh father you wanted to know why he knew where my secret room was right” he smirks and waits until he’s about to be whisked away by the floo powder “it’s because your only son is a giant uranian*” he chuckled as the enraged face his father made before he disappeared.

The teen follows who he now knows is his aunt, Bathilda Bagshot, to his room. He puts his stuff down and looks around, small for his liking but it’ll do for the short time he plans on being there.

He starts making a plan in his head, ‘I’ll need to get a new wand since I doubt father left it here, and funds to be able to leave, luckily I know someone in France that would be happy to let me stay until I can work something more permanent out-‘ his thoughts are cut short when he sees his newly acquainted aunt holding up a very familiar object. “How did you get my wand?”

The old woman pulls it back when he goes to grab it, “I lifted it from your fathers pocket, I had doubted that not having one would keep you from doing magic. But there are conditions in my house to having it, it’s a privilege”

He glares at her and crosses his arms “it’s my wand”

She sets it down “that should’ve been snapped when you were expelled, I’m not as senile as your father probably made me out to be. My rules are very simple; no one in your room with the door closed, no experiments past what is legal in England, and you will have dinner and chess here at least every Wednesday. You break any of those your wand his taken again”

Gellert looks at the old woman and smirks a bit “chess is easy to beat” he takes his wand.

There was a knock on the door downstairs and gellert looks out the door. The old woman hurries downstairs “oh Albus I would say it’s good to see you again but under the circumstances I doubt it is for you”

Gellert sat on the stairs and looks at the red headed young man at the door. Not able to look away…
