ALBUS

Albus’ life had always been a series of ups and downs. From his sister being assaulted at a young age that led to his father being imprisoned, later to die in azkaban. He headed to Hogwarts and was top of his class all years, leading to him being prefect of Gryffindor and eventually head boy. Then in his 7th year his brother walked in on him making out with his ex-boyfriend in a broom closet which led to a fight between them. And now it seemed like his life was forever down hill.

He had been planning on traveling to world, always having been interested in magic specific to different areas of the world when his mother had died and he found himself in charge of his two younger siblings; Aberforth who currently hated him, and his little sister Ariana who was an obscurial as result of the trauma she received at the young age of 6. He had barely gotten out of Europe when he got the news that his mother had died from an accident with Arianas’ magic.

He goes home immediately, getting home late at night to Aberforth glaring at him “what is it Aberforth?” He sets his bags down and casts a spell to start cleaning the house that was a mess. “I know you want to say something.”

The 15 year old takes a glass of water and glares at him “why did you come back” he drinks it and puts it down.

Albus sighs “because I'm your older brother, whether you like it or not, and who would care for Ariana when school starts again.” He starts to go upstairs

“We’ll be fine on our own” he pushes past him and goes to his room.

“You are not dropping out of school!” He had used legilimency while they were talking to see what he was actually thinking, since he knew he would never tell him. He sighs as Aberforths’ door slams and goes to check on Ariana then goes to lay down.

Albus closes his eyes but couldn’t sleep, his thoughts keeping him up so he goes to grab a book to read for the night when he realized all his books that he left were ruined “oh very mature Aberforth!” He goes downstairs and puts his jacket on, there was only one place in Godric's Hollow that was full of book and he was welcome there anytime. Though he was unsure if ms.bagshot was awake at this hour.

As he walks over he sees through the top window a figure that definitely isn’t an old woman. It looks more like a boy his age or around it, someone he’s never seen before so he never went to Hogwarts. He makes sure his wand was ready incase he needed it and knocked on the door

Bathilda bagshot opens the door a few moments later “oh Albus I would say it’s good to see you again but under the circumstances I doubt it is for you” she smiles kindly “what can I do for you?”

“Yes, my return is under quite unfortunate circumstances. I was wondering if you had some books I could borrow? I can't sleep and my brother is…going through a rebellious phase on top of grief and ruined all of my books” he sets in when she lets him in.

She nods “You know full well I have books young man, I just am not sure I have any that you haven’t read but you can look.”

Albus heard the first half of what she said but got lost when he saw the other teen on the stairs. He was right in not knowing who he was and he would definitely remember the other if he met him before. Nape length very blond hair, pale skin, thin but not stocky stature, and those eyes. He would definitely remember those eyes; one white but definitely not blind, and the other black with specks of blue if under the right light which it was. He was mesmerized by the stranger…
