Hi Lottie!
I am so sorry I haven't written since I returned to school. I've had SO MUCH HOMEWORK! How are you doing?
I joined a fencing club. It is kind of fun, but it is very tricky. We have only had two meetings so far.
I accidently hurt myself during the second session, but don't worry, I am fine now.
The school is getting ready for Halloween. There are jack-o-lanterns everywhere! I think there might be a Halloween Ball for the older students on Monday. I have been hearing whispers about a dance, but no announcements. Maybe it's supposed to be a secret from younger years, or maybe its not a school sanctioned event. There will be a special Halloween Feast for dinner that evening, though. Jake tells me that there will be lots of treats on the table as well as some tricks. I asked him what he meant by that, but he refused to tell me.

Hi Mom and Dad!
The dueling club is exciting, but very difficult! I decided to join it at the last minute. Thankfully we didn't have to sign up in advance. WE have had two sessions so far. At the last one, I didn't do very well. We are working on shield charms and disarming charms. I don't know what my partner actually cast, but it wasn't either of those. Professor Prince told him he had to work on his enunciation and pronunciation. Either way, it sent me sprawling into a wall! I smacked my head and swore i saw stars, but don't worry. I'm completely fine now.
My school work is mostly fun. In flying class today, I got to try to fly through an obstacle course above the Quidditch Pitch. I did ok, but my control of the broom isn't very good yet.
How are you doing? How is work? Or Baby Dawn? Have you gotten to see her since I was last home, Mom?
