Hogwarts is Real?
Summary
Just a fun project i wanted to try. The idea is to write diary entries on real days as though from the perspective of a hogwarts student.lets see how well i do and if i can make it interesting...if it goes well, i'll do more than one year. TO BE CLEAR: A year will take a year.I can't say i'll write every day, nor do i totally have a plot planned out. I do hope that i can keep up a creative concept.I will update tags etc as I go along.***July 7, 2024: For those reading Power of Three I *still* haven't forgotten it. My writing muse has been all but dead the past year; Lots of not happy chaos. I am trying to reignite my muse and get back on it. Don't give up on me yet!***

Hi, Diary.

I’m just stopping to write so that I stay awake. I have Astronomy in a little while.

History of Magic really is taught by a ghost named Professor Binns, but he also has a half goblin assistant who will teach us as well. Professor Wellington makes the lesson much more interesting than Professor Binns. We started on the Goblin Revolution with Professor Binns. He dragged on and on, but then Professor Wellington interrupted him and started us on Goblin Customs and their language, Gooblydegook.

We worked on that both yesterday and today.

Yesterday we also had Transfiguration. Professor Martin had us trying to turn a decorated cup into a plain bowl. We got marks if we succeeded, but less if there was any pattern on the bowl. My bowl still had the handle from the teacup he gave me. I need to practice more.

Today I had my first Defence against the Dark Arts class. Professor Prince decided to give us a show for the first class. He had a training dummy on the dueling platform in the front of the room that he said Aurors use for training recruits. We got to watch as he battled with the training dummy, showing us some of the spells he intends to teach us. It was very neat to watch him! He was so graceful!

Juniper Nott demanded that Professor Prince show everyone his patronus at the end of the lesson. I thought for sure the Slytherin girl would get in trouble and points taken away, but Professor Prince merely smirked at her and obliged. The shimmery blue stag that burst from his wand pranced around the room and sniffed at Juniper. It was beautiful! I hope he teaches us how to make a patronus!

The other new class we were SUPPOSED to have today was flying, but a thunderstorm rolled in so it was canceled and we had free time. As disappointing as it was to miss out on flying, it was grand to get to hang out in the multi-house common room near the great hall. I got to meet a few older students there. Katherine introduced me to Jacob Potter. He told me to call him Jake. I asked if his dad was Harry Potter and he smirked at me. Instead of answering, he gave me a knowing look and asked if I was a muggleborn, but he said it in such a way that I knew he wasn’t asking, he knew. Katherine smacked him on the arm and told him not to tease me too much and then he left us alone, laughing as he walked over to his friends. I would be mad, but his laugh didn’t sound like he was picking on me or worse, more like he had a secret. A secret he wasn’t going to share. Katherine refused to tell me it, too, and I’m almost certain she knows what it is!

I also met a girl named Lillibeth. She’s quite a bit closer to our age than Jake. She taught me how to play gobstones. Katherine adamantly refused; that’s why Lillibeth taught me. She called Katherine a prissy pants and told me that she’d play with me. Katherine said she would see me later, AFTER I had a shower. Lillibeth and I giggled at that.

Katherine was right, I needed a shower. Go stones is extremely messy! And the gunk stinks something awful! Lillibeth hardly got anything on her and assured me that with practice I’ll keep cleaner as well. She also told me that there is a Gobstones Club I could join if I’m interested. I might! It sounds fun! She said they have tourneys and little events frequently.

Oh. My alarm is going off; it’s time to get ready for astronomy. I hope I can stay awake for the class!

Night, Diary!
