No stopping me now

Why are there two extra doors?

It was almost theatrical in the way they both turned to Harry, who scoffed and muttered about betrayals.

"Oh, don't give us that. There are only six of us in this house- as far as I'm aware anyway. I highly doubt the babies did it and out of the three of us, you're the only one with a kidnapping problem." A series of denials fell from his lips. Sirius rolled his eyes, "But no, go on about how this doesn't scream you."

"He has a point Harry," Remus smiled wryly. "Who else could it be?"

Harry rolled his eyes but moved forward to open one of the doors.

The room was covered in wooden panels that acted as flooring and wallpaper. There was a door that presumably led to a bathroom, just like the rest of the rooms. In one section of the room, there was wood that stuck out of the walls to form a doorframe. There was no door but there was a sheet of blue cloth that hung from the inside of the room. As he walked into the 'room', he found a wooden bed against one of the walls and a wooden desk along the other wall. There bed had plain white pillows and duvets and was plain just like the rest of the room. There wasn't much else and this surprised Harry as the other rooms seemed to be tailored to the owner's tastes.

He was expecting the other room to be like the first but it was beautifully decorated. The room had walls that were dark midnight blue in colour, with constellations that magically lit up when the light was off. Some of the constellations were the Draco constellation and the Scorpius constellation. There was dark wooden flooring and furniture just like in the other rooms. The dark wooden cot in the middle of the room was below some low hanging stars that acted as a light and a mobile. The ceiling was bewitched to look like the night sky. The cot had dark blue and white sheets.

"Is there a secret child in the house that we don't know about? Merlin, Harry. You're getting better at stealing kids."

Sirius was rewarded with a glare that he laughed off.

"Who do you think the room belongs to, Harry?" Remus asked innocently enough that Harry deigned him with an answer.

"I... don't know. I'll admit that I've been thinking about helping someone else that I used to know butI don't have a problem. All I want is to be able to help people. The future I came from was shit, okay? It was. Ignoring the war, ignoring the hundreds of kids that died, ignoring that over half of the people I got to know in only seven years were dead. I saw friends suffer, during the six years I spent at Hogwarts and the one I spent on the run. I suffered. First year I found out that everything I thought I knew was wrong. My parents didn't die in a car accident because my dad was a drunk-."

"James wasn't a drunk and it wasn't his fault that they're dead," Sirius said in an eerily calm voice that was laced with anger.

Harry continued, "I wasn't a freak, I just had the ability to do magic- which, might I add, Aunt Petunia and Vernon knew but still punished me for it hoping to stamp it out of me. Someone was actively trying to kill me but Dumbledore did nothing even though he knew. My second year, I was treated like a prisoner by my relatives. Lots of kids at Hogwarts were petrified because of their magical blood status and yet the ministry didn't do anything for the same reason. People didn't know that my wife was possessed all year by the memory of a young Lord Voldemort. My friend had to use a broken wand because he was the youngest son of seven. My friend Dobby, a house elf, was clearly being abused by the family he was forced to serve. Hagrid was sent to Azkaban because of an abuse of power. In my third year, I had to run away from home because I accidentally blew up Vernon's sister after being expected to listen to the vitriol she was spewing. She told me countless times that I should be beaten, that my dad was an unemployed drunk and that my mum was bad and a bitch. I was told that Sirius was trying to murder me because he was Voldemort's right hand man and wanted to finish the job. I had the best DADA teacher that year, even though the bar was quite low. Buckbeak, a hippogriff was sentenced to death because of another abuse of power by the same man. Then I saw how terrible Sirius was treated in Azkaban and thought he was safe and free before realising that he would have to spend the rest of his life in hiding because no one who could help would. Remus was then forced to quit after people found out he was a werewolf. Fourth year-."

"Harry," Remus interrupted with a gentle tone.

"-Fourth year death eaters attacked and a house elf was blamed for it. I was forced into the Triwizard tournament even though there was an age limit so all of my fellow competitors were all years older than me and of age-."

"Harry, listen to me," Remus spoke again.

"I was bullied and hated by three schools because of something they wouldn't believe me for even though the teacher could do something. A student was transfigured into an animal by a death eater disguised as a bloody teacher! A student-."

"Harry!" Remus almost shouted. "I believe you, Sirius believes you. We understand."

"You don't though. I love you both but you will never understand because you didn't live through it. I just want to keep my family safe. I need to keep my family safe. It worked with both of you, didn't it?" Harry said sadly as Remus and Sirius shared a concerned glance. "Sirius isn't in Azkaban for a crime he didn't even commit. Remus isn't homeless and alone. You are both here, safe and with a family who loves you. Jamie isn't abused and he never will be. He'll grow up safe and loved and will never have to worry about his life as long as I'm around. Frankie gets a loving family with supportive guardians and brothers who will spend time with him. Koru will grow up more supported than he ever was last time."

"You're right Harry. We'll never have to go through that thanks to you. We're just saying that you can't take force people to live a life that you want for them. You can't just steal kids from their parents without an explanation. You can't pretend that everything that happened before you took them didn't happen. They had a home and a family. Sure, we're Harry's family but what about Neville and Dudley? What is Neville's grandmother going to feel now that her grandson has gone missing a short while after her son and his wife were tortured to insanity? Dudley also had a family. They might not have treated you well but they seem to love their son."

"Don't."

Remus sighed, "Look, all we're saying is-."

The next words out of his mouth seemed to shock them both.

"...What?" One of them asked.
