You walked through the premises of platform nine and three quarters with your head held high, your both hands tightening your grasp onto your supplies in excitement and joy. You walked through crowds and crowds of upcoming students as they waved and hugged their parent figures. You were a tad bit down at the fact that you didn't have parents to say bye to, however that didn't stop you as your school shoes clicked on the pavement of the grounds, your strolling cart making clanking sounds as it rolled down the floor to the train attendant. You stopped moving when you saw the man, smiling and nodding your head to grab his attention as he took your cart firmly, you watching as your cat hooted in the new presence. You had bought a beautiful black cat with bright blue eyes as your pet. She had stood out to you when the man at the front desk pointed you towards her. You named her Gigi because of how cute you thought the name was and how much it matched her.

"Alright.. looks like you're all set! You can head onto the train... oh! Aren't you going to say bye to your parents?" The attendant asked, as you immediately breathed out heavily in response.

"They couldn't make it." You lied through your teeth, clenching them in anxiously, wanting to head on the train as fast as possible. You watched as the attendant gave you a look of confusion, his hands intertwining with each other.

"How unfortunate. You can make your way onto the vehicle now." He affirmed as you quickly ran towards the train, only a small cary on with you as you scurried down the halls of the large red train, looking for a compartment. You stopped when you noticed an empty seat in one with three people, two being male and one being female. You took a second to receive your courage before walking in.

"Hi." You only remarked, causing the teens to look at you.

"Hello!" The female squawked, waving excitedly to you, motioning for you to sit next to her with small little pats against the seats. You smiled back happily, putting your cary on in the compartment above the seats before sitting down. You examined the room closely, looking at both of the boys who were confused as to who you were and why you were in that compartment. You nervously clashed your lips together, watching their eyes pierce your presence.

"Sorry for disturbing.. I'm { first name } { last name }. I didn't really know where to sit and I saw this compartment with an empty seat.. so I thought I would sit here." You commented in your defense, watching them change their expressions into an amused nod. The two boys in front of you really caught your eye since their impressions were almost in sync, like one playing after the other. One had fluffy orangey red hair with soft blue eyes that almost looked like pearls. The other had some sort of ruffled dark brown hair with large bubble like glasses and deeper blue eyes, the color of the ocean. Both of their clothes were very casual as they slumped into the seats, watching you.

"It's no problem really. I'm Hermione Granger, it's a pleasure { first name }." Hermione chirped, shaking your hand softly as a grin escaped your face at her kind gesture.

"I'm Ron Weasley, and that's Harry.. Potter." Ron told you, his eyes rapidly swooping to Harry and then back to your gaze.

"Ahh, I think I've heard your name somewhere.." You exclaimed, talking to Harry as you kneeled more into your sitting position towards him.

"Don't worry, everyone has." Harry grumbled to himself, his arms crossing as his appearance became somewhat annoyed, shuffling himself to a more comfortable position in the compartment taking a small glance at the window. Hermione and Ron exchanged a quick glance of shock and amusement before turning the conversation to you.

"So, { first name }, I've really never seen you here before. What year are you?" Hermione questioned you, crossing her legs distinguishably.

   "Eighth."

"Really? But we've never seen you in this school before!" Ron exclaimed in a confused manner. You huffed heavily getting ready to answer his bargain.

"Hah, yeah. I transferred." You informed them, a small "ah" coming out of Hermione and Ron's mouths.

"What school did you come here from?" Hermione asked you, her questions flooding you.

"Koran Wizardry School.. the private one?" You tried to affirm, to which she nodded, her big curly dirty blonde hair swooping up and down as she did so.

"Ohh! I've heard a lot about that school, it's the only Catholic wizard school in the world!" Hermione explained to Ron who's mouth was creating a large frown at the name of your school, "It's extremely hard to get into that school.. I've heard! You must have good grades."

"I try!" You tried not to brag as a quick little giggle escaped, causing Hermione to smile in reply.

"Seems like you guys have someone else to ask for homework now." She murmured to the two boys who scowled at her joke, Hermione taking a laugh as they got angry at her comment.

"W-We don't ask you for homework! That's absurd!... R-Right Harry?" Ron tried to cover up, elbowing Harry to say something. He seemed to be in a trance when Ron nudged him that he sprung up and looked around as if he was trying to find something important.

"What?" Harry asked, which made Hermione only laugh even more. You followed her into her laugh, giggling quietly to yourself as the train rocked back and forth at the movement on the tracks. You were so confused that they didn't even say goodbye to their parents before leaving since you arrived at the compartment when the train was at the station and they hadn't waved at all when the train took off.

"You guys didn't wave bye to your parents or something? The train already took off." You asked the three as they looked at the window, watching the bright sky as the trees glistened and moved in the wind.

"Oh no, our parents didn't go past the pole. We said our goodbyes there.. how about you?" Hermione interrogated, which made you freeze in your tracks. Was it okay to tell them that your parents had been dead for over 3 years?

"My parents.. are deceased." You muttered, looking around at the room for any bad reactions. There you saw Harry turn his head a tad bit to look at you, his eyes gazing at your presence. Hermione and Ron stood there silent, giving each other at least three good glances before returning back to the conversation.

"Oh.. I'm sorry. That must've been hard for you to answer." Hermione remarked, to which you nodded your head slightly.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about that." Ron exclaimed, looking at you with his blue little puppy dog eyes, wanting forgiveness.

"No no, it's fine. You didn't know." You assured to them both as they took sighs of relief, slouching back into the seat. You heard Hermione yawn, shuffling to put her feet on the seat as she crossed her arms together for body heat and support. You leaned your head onto the border of the door, your eyes almost closing from the same exhaustion Hermione had.

"Someone's tired." Ron remarked cheekily towards Hermione which made her glare at him, her brown eyes darting onto Ron's.

"I slept two hours! TWO! Because of your parents snoring!!" Hermione battled back, her head back onto the seat pillow as her jaw only moved, no expressions coming clear out of her. You giggled at her remark, making Ron take a short look at you before returning back to the fuse.

"It's not MY fault you decided to spend the night at my place! Harry slept just fine... right Harry?" Ron tried to prove his point, however when he finally got his blue eyes on Harry, he was out of it and asleep like a light. Ron slowly turned his head around to face Hermione again, to which caused you to laugh a bit, Ron's skull swiftly turning to face you.

   "It's not funny!" He complained.

"Oh, it's hilarious!" You choked, your eyes watering from the laughter you were experiencing. At that point, Hermione joined in the laugh, holding onto her stomach with her one palm as she bucked down, her face facing the floor of the train. Ron dramatically rolled his eyes, shrinking back onto his seat with a large huff. The laughter only got louder as by now you both couldn't even breath, gasping for air as Ron's breath became furious.

"Stop.. laughing!" Ron croaked, making the smiles and the laughing die down a tad bit for the attention to be focused on him.

"Awwh, is someone tired?" Hermione teasingly pouted, making you and her go into another laughing fest. You didn't know for sure if you were going to flood the compartment with tears as you wiped them away from the corners of your eyes, your laugh pitching and making noises randomly. You felt as if it could go on forever.

"Are you kidding me right now? SHUT UP!" Harry yelled, awaking from his slumber angrily, shifting himself to be cuddling the window.

"Sleeping beauties up!" You commented, making Hermione snort with happiness. The laughing got into a small fraction as it soon died down, only small giggles echoing from the corners from the compartment that belonged to you and Hermione's. The door creaked open, making the each of you, besides Harry who was again asleep, turn your heads to look at the entrance. There stood an elderly woman with snacks and treats on a small white cart.

"Anything for you teenagers?" She asked, moving the cart inside of the compartment. You nodded, your hunger being apparent since you got on the train, grabbing a few chocolate frogs and giving her two gold galleons in return. She nodded, handing you the change from the money, "Anyone else?"

"No ma'am, thank you though." Hermione replied, not until Ron who was tempted to buy something got up and took a few bags of snacks. Hermione rolled her eyes, watching Ron grab many items and sitting back down, handing the woman 1 gold galleon.

"Not enough." She remarked. You looked around, noticing no one else was going to pay for it, then standing and handing her another three gold galleons. She smiled, giving the change to Ron.

"Have a nice ride kids." She remarked, leaving and closing the door behind her. Ron was only staring at you with his mouth wide open, making it very obvious he was doing so because of your sweet gesture.

"You.. payed for me?" Ron asked you.

"Yeah why not? That's what friends are for." You smiled kindly, to which Ron just looked at the change at his hand and then back to you.

"Thanks { first name }." He affirmed, opening up a bag of chips and starting to snack. You on the other hand opened your chocolate frog, biting its leg off and munching slowly. You missed these so much due to the orphanage always selling them for extra chores. They never had them at Koran which made you sort of sad, however brushing it off you were always fine, grabbing whatever chocolate they had that day. Nothing compared to these chocolate frogs though, nothing at all. You smiled, closing your eyes and taking in the milk chocolate, your taste buds sizzling with anticipation.

"I think I'm going to go to sleep, see you both soon." Hermione told the both of you, closing her eyes to drift off.

   "Goodnight Hermione." Ron spoke.

"Night!" You remarked, to which Hermione smiled, cozying up on the wall where the window laid.

"I'm going to as well, goodnight Ron." You tell him, wrapping your chocolate frog with the leftover wrapper, placing it down and snuggling against the border of the door, hair spreading across your face.

"Goodnight { first name }." He told you as you could hear his mouth full of chips. You took a deep breath, closing your eyes and letting your head drift off into another place, soon being able to fall asleep with your new friends peacefully...
