I Am To See To It That I Do Not Lose You
Sherlock chased the criminal, blood pumping through his veins. The unnamed criminal was heading towards an abandoned restaurant.
“The idiot’s about to trap himself,” thought Sherlock Holmes with a smug grin.
The criminal headed in, followed by John. But then Sherlock stopped, much to his own confusion.
“Oh, I just remembered something! Sorry, got to go Sherlock!” said Lestrade in a hurry.
Where the hell is that idiot going? We have a criminal to catch. What am I doing? Go inside. Wait! With John gone I can find my cigarettes.
Sherlock stood there in confusion. He was done with smoking. He no longer craved it. He deleted it.
But that was a good point. Let’s just go find it real quick… wait no! John’s in there! He could be in danger!
Suddenly Sherlock’s brain was crowded with every unfinished chore, every misplaced item, every unfinished task.
But he needed to help John. Nothing could be allowed to hurt him.
“I am to see to it that I do not lose him,” he said aloud before entering the Leaky Caldron.
