Summary
Severus Snape's oath to keep Harry Potter safe has far reaching consequences. On Halloween '81 he feels his magic yelling at him to come, help the child. He takes action and annihilates many plans in the making.

I just play with a few ideas.I am not sure, when exactly in cannon Severus Snape makes the oath to protect Harry Potter. For the sake of this story, it was before Halloween '81.I do not even remember if he actually did swear an oath like that to Dumbledore in cannon. Huh. He did, didn’t he?I always wondered how it could be, that he felt nothing when Harry was treated horribly by the Dursleys and so I explored this 'what if'.
