Kunikida's day off (Gone wrong)
As the golden rays of sunlight pierced through the early morning mist, a tall figure could be seen walking to a building around the corner. The armed detective agency. The tall figure was the first one there. He checked his watch. 7:30 a.m. Right on time. That tall figure was Kunikida. He got to work, starting with the paperwork on his desk. More of the detective agency workers arrived. One of them being a brunette with bandages wrapped around his arms.
He approached the blond, a cheeky grin evident on his face. "Kunikidaaaa, you work too much. You have to take a break" The brunette put his hand on the paperwork so the former couldn't write. "Stop disturbing me Dazai. I don't need a break."
"Oh but you do! And the president asked me to tell you that you don't have to work today." states the brunette. "W-what?! You're kidding" And just in time, the president enters the office. "It is true. Kunikida, you have to take a break. Here, take these two movie tickets. You can go with Atsushi." A faint voice from the stairway could be heared, "What? Me?" The weretiger enters. The president nods. "Accompany Kunikida to watch the new movie." "Uh..okay" Kunikida grabs the two movie tickets and signals the weretiger to follow, "Come on weretiger, let's go" As they left the office, there was a smirk on Ranpo's face.

Kunikida observed the movie tickets. The movie was going to air at 1 p.m. They still had a few hours left. A loud grumble could be heard. Atsushi sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "ahaha...sorry" "Hm...let's go eat. What do you want" the blond asks. "Well, I want Chazuke" They go to the nearest restaurant. Atsushi certainly had the appetite. He ate eleven bowls in one sitting while Kunikida ate two. The blond checked the time on his watch. It was almost 9 a.m. Kunikida paid for the bill and they went back out to the streets.
"So where are we going now?" questioned Atsushi. Kunikida was going to suggest that they were going to wait outside the movie theatre for five hours but they passed a game arcade and Atsushi's face lit up. "Let's go there then" "Wait? Really?!" there was evident shock in Atsushi's voice. "...Why not"
Atsushi tried the claw machine a few times but he didn't get anything. Kunikida decided to try after seeing the look of disappointment on Atsushi's face. He got it the first try. He won a white tiger plushie. He gave it to the weretiger who was filled with joy. They tried playing darts. They both had five darts. Kunikida got all bullseye while Atsushi...he got three misses and two five points. Kunikida won a small keychain and gave it to the latter. Atsushi hung it on his phone.
Atsushi decided to play one more game. Bowling. He was...really good at it. All of the tries were strikes. He won a pikachu keychain and gave it to the taller male. "Here, you gave me the prizes you won" "I don't- nevermind, thanks.."

11:30 a.m. "Come on, Atsushi. Let's get going" they walked in the direction of the movie theatre. As they got closer to their destination, they encountered a few angry citizens grumbling about how the movie theatre was closed and- wait what? Atsushi and Kunikida rushed to the theatre. It was closed. There was a sign on the wall. 'Closed due to rat infestation. From 31 January to ???' Kunkida let out a sigh. Atsushi was frowning. "Wait so we can't watch it?" "Yeah..but I think we would be able to if we go to the one further away. However it'll take an hour"
"I think we can make it." They fastened their speed but there was a roadblock. Apparently there was a huge parade to celebrate the opening of a new shopping mall and no one was allowed to use that path. Therefore, they took a huge detour. They walked through a park and there was a huge lake. They were nearly out of the park when they saw a person floating faced down in the lake. "H-hey, Kunikida?" "Yeah?" he answered "I think someone is drowning.."
They looked over at the lake, Kunikida scoffed and shook his head. "It's that bastard again. Another attempt, just ignore him." Soon, they were out of the park. 12 p.m. The other movie theatre was just another thirty minutes away. They were nearly there. Just as they thought they were there. They were met with a huge crowd of fangirls and some mothers crowding outside of a bookshop. The whole road was blocked by them. Apparently there was a fan meetup with a famous Korean idol.
"Kunikida, what do we do now? We won't be there in time." The taller male sighed "Atsushi can you transform into a tiger. I'll hop on your back and jump over the crowd." "Uhm...sure I can try" He transformed and Kunikida sat on his back. Atsushi managed to jump over the crowd. They quickly ran.

12:45 p.m. A bit later than Kunikida would've liked but it's okay. They were almost there. They could see the movie theatre in the distance. Wait...why was it on fire?! They rushed over. There were already firemen putting it out. There was a gas leak and the whole building burned down. Atsushi looked incredibly disappointed. "C'mon weretiger. Let's just go back to the agency." There were a few police officers there and offered to give them a ride.
Back at the agency
"Back so fast?" asked the genius detective "Uh..we didn't get to watch it" Atsushi sheepishly states "The movie theatre near us got infested with rats and the one further away was burned down."
"Ah... Well, you two can go home. The boss said when you returned you can just go back home" "Oh okay"
Such a wonderful day off.
