Fire Force fics
- It is not just Licht who sees Sho and Shinra's fight as everyone shows up a bit early. They now know just how fast Shinra can be. I imagine that revelation shoots down some preconceived notions.
- Once Shinra smiles genuinely it's like he can't stop. It's not all that different from his nervous one except for the eyes. His eyes are warm and soft when he smiles at Company 8 or his friends.
- Alternatively, knowing what his genuine smile looks like it's hard to mistake his expression now for anything other than what it is. Pure Hatred.
- Shinra is actually very smart. He wouldn't be able to keep Hibana's interest for so long otherwise. It is in some round about way the others figure out, one by one and then all together, that Shinra could have done anything else with his life. From Hinawa catching him upgrading the matchbox, (before Vulcan) to Licht making an offhanded technical comment and Shinra not only understanding but correcting him, to Benimaru actually losing to Shinra due to his extensive plan.
- Shinra uses the Grace Rapid technique and does accidentally leave his arm behind and is entirely too calm about it. The way he usually reacts to any battle wounds he gets. Company 8 also act as they usually do, which is to say that they freak out. Shinra gets his arm back ofc by going fast enough that he goes back in time by like thirty seconds. But that does the cement the idea in Company 8 that Shinra is no longer a rookie nor is he in any way green. (They are gonna be protective anyway tho)
- Characters watch the show AU. Sometime before they get Vulcan but after the Asakusa training arc, Company 8, Benimaru, Konro, Hibana, Joker, and Licht all end up in a theater room. First thing they are forced to watch is Shinra saving Arthur and Vulcan at the junkyard. Next is the fight in Asakusa. Then the fight with Shiro. The fight in China. Not sure what else just yet.
- Power Swap AU. Basically I was thinking about how fucking difficult Shinra's power must be to like actually be able to use it effectively and I just want more people to understand that Shinra must be ripped as all fuck to be able to do what he does in Canon with ease. So I want him and Arthur to switch powers. And have Shinra be sort of able to use the plasma but not in sword form and for Arthur to just be absolutely miserable cuz he can't get Shinra's power to be anything except destructive. And he is breaking Everything.
- Someone calls Shinra a demon in ear shoot of Company 8. Predictably they get protective. Bonus points if it's someone from Shinras past. His grandma, the foster homes, the social worker, the other kids, etc. The Hurt/Comfort needs to be strong with this one.
- What if Shinras mum was actually a regular Infernal and was the reason for the fire and Shiro actually died. How would that change Shinra? Would it change him?
- indulging myself tonight for sure. The Shinra that was powerful enough to kick the moon back into place ends up pulling a Flash and going back in time. To maybe the Asakusa arc. Older, powerful and maturer Shinra and all the reactions to that.
- the crazy as fuck Shinra that happened for all of two minutes in the second season lasts for a hell of a lot longer.
