And when asked why he says it makes it quiet. And of course someone says to elaborate and he says the lines from the search by nf.
"That thing that we all have trapped inside that we try to suffacate you know hoping it'll die, and we try to hold underwater but it always survives, then it comes up out of nowhere like an evil surprise and it hovers over you to tell you millions of lies. You don't relate to that, must not be as crazy as I am."
And everyone is massively surprised he feels this way as he puts put such a front. But Deku is the one that knows and understands the events that lead to these thoughts. So once every one has left Katsuki alone, Deku talks to him.
